Why? You are wasting MY life - by runing the fun for at least half the playerbase with YOUR playstyle - even in casual.
You are not wrong in playing aggro - and Blizzard have given me a turn, lasting a number of seconds - And i do with these seconds, what ever i goddamn please.
If you are just gonna cry about someone else crying on a forum, get the fuck out of here yourself.
I have nothing more to say about that. And you are hereby muted.

This is exactly what i said, people love conplain and say that the other is guilty, dude, how much are those decks ruining your life, 4, 5 turns? I know play against agro all the time is annoying but those decks are fast, and be a dick by your self is the toxic part, not those decks.
To everyone complaining about netdecking and aggro players:
if your fun is influenced by what other people play, do everyone - not the least yourself - a favor and stop playing this game. It's clearly not for you.
Sincerely,
everyone who knows netdecking and aggressive strategies are a part (and always will be) of pretty much every competitive card game
I'm playing not for sporting, what can be competitive in casual mode? Where nothing can be achieved.
Casual is a place mostly for farming the gold from 3/3 wins and quests. I guess Blizzard didn't intend for that to happen, but playing aggro is just a faster way to do that. I never play casual and don't farm gold there, but I know a lot of players who are doing it.
You might think that's unfair, but unfortunately what we think doesn't matter. There's no point in complaining about the player base because as long as gold is farmable in casual, people will use it for that purpose. You can't change the attitude of a player base that literally contains millions. This is true for every gamemode in hs (right now).
The way I see it you have these options:
You keep doing what you are doing, and keep complaining about the player base and the type of decks they play. Nothing will change, and you will be left angry after pretty much every session of hs. If this is true, you should probably stop playing the game.
You accept the way other people play and adapt your playstyle/deck accordingly. This is what I do. I try to play a variety of decks. Most of them are competitive. I like to try my best and win.
If you really want a format that is actually casual, where people only play homebrew decks, you need to ask Blizzard for a new gamemode, or a drastic change to the current casual gamemode. You would probably still see a lot of aggro though. Blizzard will also probably not change anything with casual, and I can't see them adding another multiplayer gamemode in the foreseeable future.
TL;DR: try to have fun regardless of what people play against you. If you can't do that, stop playing this game. It's better for your health.
Blizzard gave me a turn time - and i can use the turn on what ever i want, without hearing you cry about it. Get that, or get out. bb
in the way that you use it is toxic, cause you are doing it with the only propose of waste the time of the other player, yes the turn has a long for a good reason, but you are no applying it, if don't like people say it well, it's your problem, say that every one is crying don't change anything about your own baby rage actions.
At the end of the day. We are all opponents who sit across the board from each other. We beat each other with lucky draws, we spam emotes when we dominate each other and we do so while playing the best decks in the game, that we did not make ourselves. It's no surprise that the animosity carries over from the game and into it's communities.
In particular this forum... No one can have fun. Everyone is sarcastic and waiting to cut other people down even if they suggest a unique idea .I saw someone try to make flarks boomzooker a few days ago and asking for help. The first comment was, "no. No. No. This will never work." who I could tell didn't even read he deck list. Why are you like this.
Work together and stop being assholes to people you don't even know.
Sawtry just needed to get this off my chest.
Oh wait and mods need to also stop being assholes for the sake of assholes. You shouldn't be fueling toxic conversations or locking something you don't like.
YOU CHILDREN NEED TO STOP PLAYING GOD
Despite this poor starting point, the discussion is actually ok, so this can stay open for now, but you should probably take your own advice, if you want to do well in the future.
I really have yet to see a thread lock that didn't deserve it. Generally the thread locks happen because the post is pointless or unsupported (such as the title is Ban Card X, the text is Ban Card X, and there is no points to discuss), the subject has been addressed by multiple open thread (they are nicer about this than I would be, I would shut down and combine more threads if I were in charge), or they are just straight up delivered in an unfriendly and toxic manner to begin with. Take this thread:
You started OK, then you called all the Mods 'assholes' and 'children'.
So honestly take a page from Gandhi and be the change you want to see. Stop being a prick first and then you can expect others to follow suit.

You are 100% right about “Casual”. Over the last few days, I have been counter-queued on multiple occasions. It’s unbelievable. How much of a loser do you have to be to do that in Casual?
It's not Hearthstone, is the internet. Deal whit it, it will never change. Just ignore toxic people. Hs community is already a lot better than many others...
While Hearthstone, and indeed Hearthpwn, are clear examples of toxic behavior on the interwebz, it's not exclusive to here and you can see it in any game you play.
Amplify it by at least two if it's a card game, and then again if it's online.
Have you ever attended a RL card game tournament for games like MTG, Yugioh, ect? You'll witness some of the saddest, most miserable forms of human life on this planet who have likely never had a day of fun in their lifetime. It's just natural with card game communities. Only here, they also have the veil of internet anonymity.

This. I stopped playing MtG and YuGiOh because no one is really having fun. You're not coming into a tournament with a smile, you're literally stuck in your head for hours. You don't want to talk to anyone, because talking about your decks gives you a disadvantage.
Now when you're facing your opponent, that is the least fun part of tournaments. Drawing badly, your opponent plays their combo earlier than expect, no mana draw when you need it, etc. These just hit you straight in the gut. Though, if you're winning in your match, you only feel a tiny bit of success, and then it dawns on you that you'll have to face off against the same damned decks until the tournament is over. And chances are, you'll lose because there can only be 1 winner.
Though, Fireside Gatherings are completely different, at least to the one I go at. They have challenge tournaments (ie: no meta decks, you must use this card, kill yourself the fastest, smorc only, etc) and this is where I actually have fun with Hearthstone. It's a breath of fresh fucking air, and free swag. * flicks valeera bobble head *

If people want to rope others who are farming gold, great. Make them take longer to earn their gold. Fuck em lol
Competition brings out toxicity. As gaming culture is pretty well known, this fact should also be pretty well known. CS:GO, LoL, dota, Wow arena, overwatch, hearthstone, call of duty.... You name it, when people compete they get angry.

I don't hate aggro deck, and to be honest, I love Rogue and play Odd Rogue a lots. However, I do think that the community is just real bad in some aspects, and especially aggro players behaved even worst. I'm trying to play some "fun" and non-competitive decks recently. Last night, I won the match between Necrium (well, I would say it more funny than Odd, right?) and Odd Rogue. I got no coin and stuck with 2 Minstrels till turn 6, and before I came back with 3 HP, he hit my face with 15dmg in just one turn. And guess what, he sent the friend request (well, Rogue lover, I just would like to know more) and became flaming on how lucky I was (really? Dire mole turn 1, Fledgling turn 2? really?). I love this game and the community is not bad as all. However, those toxic players really make me (and more people) afraid of add more friend who we can talk with the game we love.
Hearthstone really isn't that toxic when you compare it to MOBAs and troll/griefing aspects of popular mmorpgs. Somebody who has played one or both of those would probably see that pretty quickly after trying out HS and then comparing the two.
As far as the forums being toxic? Eh, I wouldn't really say our forums are really that bad either. If you want a more toxic forum go to mmo-champion's HS sub-forums and you'll find more douchy posters. Although, the official HS forums are much much worse, especially due to their downvote system also carrying over to posts in the forums, as opposed to only being present in articles on here. If somebody disagrees with your opinion on the official forums and they have enough friends there then your the OP of your thread can just get nerfed to oblivion, even if you do your best to create a thread about something relatively objective.

Because card games tend to attract nerds and this often includes people on the spectrum, keyboard warriors, and loners. Real shit.

children's card game + internet = very bad idea
