Well from the title you can probably guess what my advice is about. I'm a mostly Free to Play player in Hearthstone, only ever shelling out money for the adventures of old and very occasionally buying a handful of packs for an expansion when I need more cards. The other day I wound up opening a Golden Grommash Hellscream from the pack I got from completing the Dungeon Run daily, and I need advice on what to do with it, I know it's a staple of a lot of Warrior decks but Warrior is my least favourite class in the game so I was considering disenchanting it, I want to know should I disenchant and what should I spend my dust on should I do.
Lol, sounds like the beginnings of even shaman, heal zoo or shudderwock. From playing even shammie for the whole of last season, it can work very well for periods, then seem totally outclassed, then some techs or shifts and it works well again, but ultimately I would be careful crafting it, it is so frustrating when the mini meta shifts. Grommash is pretty cool though.
Golden legendary are sacred to me, not to mention pretty rare, so I would advice not to disenchant it. This being said, if you really need that dust, aim for a safe craft that you are sure to use profusely. Hagatha & Keleseth both feel like great choices. I'm personally not too found of soularium, but if you fancy Zoo-lock, as it is the flavor of the month, might as well go all in ... but keep in mind that Genn Greymane is probably more versatile, as it is a neutral legendary that sees play in many different decks and classes.
If you're f2p (I started as one but bought a bundle latest patch), I'd dust any golden copies of any cards. Construct a deck, see if you lack any legendaries, and craft that, or just craft a staple legendary like baku, Leeroy or any other classic ones.
That's what I was wondering though, which staple legendary should I craft or should I craft the remnants I need for Even Shaman?

I have a Heal Zoo deck, I could craft Leeroy Jenkins for it but I've noticed he's not always there, I have a very basic even Shaman too but it's nothing too amazing as I lack cards like Lich King and Kalimos.
EDIT: Dr_Horus, you misread me, I already have all those cards in my collection, I don't need any of them.

Do you have grumble and shudderwock? Grumble works well in even shammie, elemental shaman and is vital for shudderwock (more so than Zola). But it is a class legendary, so very specific. Leeroy is useful if you want to play odd rogue and paladin (and will always be useful in aggro and tempo decks of all descriptions, plus classic set).

The Legendaries I mentioned in my first post are the only ones I own other than the ones you get given such as Marin and C'Thun. And if I want to play Odd Rouge/Paladin wouldn't it be more useful to craft Baku then?

True. I guess I was listing the pros for Leeroy as you could use him for your zoo deck, and in the future he could be super handy in lots of decks, so he's a safe craft IF you tend to play aggro stuff. And I guess he has a similar function to Grommash so it kinda fits. But I love shaman, my second fave class and you have some key cards for them (Hagatha is such a fun card). Unfortunately to finish off the shaman decks still requires a few legends, so Leeroy or something similar from classic might be the wiser move.
I would disenchant because 1) I never cared about shiny things and 2) it is a joker for any legendary you want, opening the roads for new decks and your enjoyment. Grom also is a well balanced card and it is very unlikely it will ever get changed, so holding on to it in hopes of a bigger payday isn't likely.
don't disenchant it just because you don't like a class, that's not a good reason. eventually every class will have a deck that you might enjoy, and your next favorite deck might be in the Warrior class.

As a control warrior player I can say grommash sees no play these days because there are a lot of better finishers (Geosculptor Yip, Rotface, The Lich King) and there is never enough space in deck to fit them all. Personally I'd not disenchant him though unless you're 100% sure about what deck you want to craft. Just think of him as a pile of dust which can be used when needed. There are few cards which can be called "safe craft", like, The Soularium is safe because it would see play while zoo warlock sees play (which is, like, forever), but crafting a "safe craft" card makes no sence unless you're playing a deck which uses that card. Another note about not dusting that card unless you know how to spend this dust is it can be nerfed or HOFed some day and you'd get it's dust value doubled.
I would figure out what you want/need in your collection still. A card as great as Grommash is even greater when it can fuel a better collection. I like Grommash, but unless you are planning on finally getting into Warrior, I probably wouldn't keep him.
Dust it, from a Warrior main player. Outside Recruit deck which is very expansive for a f2p like you and not that strong even with all that amount of dust, Grommash see almost no play . Too bad he used to be my favourite pet in my HS days but he is quite weak 8 mana play now, the day of Grommash Alex combo was over years ago. The only viable deck for Warrior now is Odd Control which tier 1.5 atm but Grom is an even cards. As a new player, you need a strong and affordable deck to grind ladder with and from what you said about your collection, Heal zoo, Odd rogue or Even Shaman will be good choices to spend the dust you get from this card
Hi machupichu 18, I'm sorry but Grommash Hellscream is helpful only in 2 warrior decks and you need tones of legendaries for those decks (Big Warrior and Recruit Warrior) and those decks are not in the metagame right now so I recommend you to dust Grommash Hellscream and build a deck like Zoo Warlock if you like it because you have Prince Keleseth and The Soularium and you could create Leeroy Jenkins if you feel you need it.
Hey thanks guys for the kind advice, I think I've come to the conclusion I think I'm gonna disenchant it because not only is Warrior one of my least favourite classes and I'd rather play any other class but as a lot of people have pointed out to me, most Warrior decks run other cards for finishers, in terms of what I'm going to craft, I think I've widdled it down to either Baku the Mooneater Leeroy Jeenkins and The Lich King but I'm not sure which I should craft though, Leeroy isnt always included in Heal Zoo and Lich King could really help in Even Shaman as well as other decks, however Baku would open a lot more potential for me, so I'm at a crossroads.
Also P.S can a lot of people read the whole original post... or read it more carefully because I've gotten several replies saying craft Genn or craft the Soularium even though I explicitly stated that those legendaries are what I own and others claiming I should make like a Tempo Warrior deck even though I also stated Warrior is my least favourite class....
Baku is a safer craft than Lichking because that is a meta defining card. You can play pretty cheap but powerful deck like Odd Rogue or Odd Paladin for an easy rank 5 each season or doing daily quest. Also enable Odd Control Warrior which is expansive deck but it is a strong deck that going to have a lot of support next expansion because team5 is pushing Warrior atm. Another reason is LK will rotate out Standard at 2019 first expansion , while Baku gonna stay with us till 2020 so it will be better investment in long term.

In terms of Legendary cards I already have other than the newly opened legend, they are Hagatha the Witch Prince Keleseth The Soularium and Genn Greymane
Thanks for your help guys. Wherever you are I hope you have a good morning, good evening or good afternoon.

Do not dust Grommash. He might not be amazing right now but he is amazing.

Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
"Don't let go"... of that card!

I encourage you to keep Grommash. Build a Tempo Warrior deck with weapons and enrage cards to find your way in the rank mode. Don't play meta decks.
