Playing with control baku warrior vs Exodia mage, of course, he draw until get the entire deck and I put minions and get armor, the usual.
Before he start the combo I have 30 life and 46 armor, he make the "Exodia" and start fireball in my face, the problem is, the time for his turn is over but instead halt all actions, cancel all things left, the rope never end his turn and keep for more than freaking 20 seconds until the Fireballs kill me.
This behavior should end? I think If you have a time limit for your turn and this time end everything you can't do should be cancel, to make thinks worse this extra unfair time is take from the other player turn.
He probably clicked out all the moves before the full animations went out, or at least the majority of them.
The cast animation delay makes it seem like they didn’t make it even though they did.
Personally im not for a time limit cutting someone off from doing an action, the only reason I ever want the rope is when someone is pulling some afk delay or pondering plays rather than putting them in motion.
No. It's how it is supposed to be. There is a delay in animations on your side, just like there is a delay on his if the roles were reversed. It is a little screwy though I admit.
(What should exist is an option to disable animations and solely display the cards and the numbers that change on the characters. This would show you they had exactly the same time as you do.)
I can't imagine we are in current year and still don't understand latency.
Turn timers are rigidly enforced. During the brawl a month or so ago when all spells cost life instead of mana and everyone was playing first turn kill druid, I timed it. There is no leeway.
I'm sorry you legitimately lost a game. Control warrior should never beat that deck; it's a risk you take when choosing it to play.

My biggest annoyance with animations and queing is that your opponent can queue a bunch of plays and the animations take time from your turn.
In most extreme circumstances it's actually possible to queue animations to take your opponents entire turn and make them lose the game through roping all their turns.
But your opponents play animations should never take up your turn, blizzard needs to fix this, especially because of mobile since plays cantbe queued up like on PC thusly requiring full turns sometimrs for complex plays.
I've many times suggested a performance mode in settings where you can turn of much animations and stuff to get a game that works better on for example an ipad.

Rope ends but the game waits for animations to let other player's turn start. All these AHAs and fireball animations take time, you know.
By the way, these don't make your turn shorter. There were some similar cases with Nozdormu before and it was patched. Your turn is still 75 seconds.

Yes, this will helps a lot...
