Since couple of months i'm playing wild ladder as well as the standard one and i have something to say to the people that play standard - only card pool netdecks in wild. You literally have no shame changing formats, not adding even single card from wild set into your deck, that is just pathetic. I assume many people (including me) change formats to see and experience something fresh and new, not the same stale shit of standard, but really, people are just dicks and pricks. Several games this day on wild ladder and seeing dudes with golden heroes and legend cardbacks playing zoo, big mage, odd paladins and odd rogues in standard version, everyone knows you have mental problems but please, have some finesse, creativity, show some building skills, anything. Don't just bring pale, stale decklists from standard into wild. I can even tell you more how pathetic you are based on the odd rogue deck example:
wild odd rogues are just superior to standard due to the 2/1 pirate that gives your weapon +1, and also there are more charger options there, but you are just too stupid to stimulate your brain a little and see this, not to mention there is the old pirate package that is just better and has overall more win ratio.
So, to summarize, Standard Player, if you decide to play some wild, don't be a brainless idiot, have some respect to the format, community and players and use your brain to add some specific wild format cards to your deck.
Why make this a new thread, just put it in the salt thread.
That being said, when I make a new standard deck, I often just play 1 or 2 matches in Wild ranked first just to get a feel for the deck then bring it to standard ranked. If somebody is bringing in a standard deck, which often contains worse cards and card choices, to wild, wouldn't that be a good thing because it makes the game easier for you? This seems like you are making an issue out of something that you should take advantage in.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.

Casual doesn't really feel rewarding, not to mention I've barely played casual for the last 2 years so everybody I'd go against is using horrible decks. Not to mention, if a standard deck can beat decks with the ability to use a wider set of cards can help how strong the deck is.
It also brings me closer to getting golden heroes for my classes, so that is always nice too.

What does Not playing casual for 2 years have to do anything with the people you face there? Your matchmaking Rank is not gonna drop bc uve been afk. And even If so, playing a few matches vs "horrible decks" (whatever that means) puts your mmr back in Track.
OP was not talking about homebrewed standard decks which need Testing (still don't get why U dont go standard ladder for test, best feedback you can have) but about the 100% copied netdecks which EVERYONE copying knows work, and bringing the standard ladder experience into a mode where people go BECAUSE they wanted to get away from them (His argument, No opinion).
And If your only way to get golden is to take the newest best standard deck into wild, you are nothing else compared to 90% of the golden players: spamming netdecks, thinking they have "skills" when winning bc 500 wins on ladder sure is a sign that you have to be "good", and consuming their share of fun which needs no creativity at all, imo the best part of collectible card games in general.
But yeah, for someone who posted that crafting a golden Deck is WAY cheaper and more valuable than crafting golden whizbang, I think I should stop saying anything more. Smh
It's more rewarding because people have access to better cards. I've played maybe 20 games in casual so I don't have much of an MMR in casual. The decks I make in standard and test in wild are decks that I make myself. It might be similar to decks that have already been made, but I don't go and read every deck that gets posted. Me bringing my shuffle rogue isn't going to all of a sudden flock competitive standard decks into wild. The decks I play in wild are either geniune wild decks, such as patron warrior, handlock, secret hunter, or they are gag decks like a shudderwock bomb shaman (which still has plenty of wild cards). Most of all my wins towards golden heroes are with decks that I've either enjoyed playing a ton, like miracle rogue, which I've gotten throughout several years of playing. I don't power grind or whatever to get golden heroes. The whizbang comment was sarcasm. It says /s at the end of it which implies that I was sarcastic. It's small because in my opinion, jokes aren't funny when everybody gets them. Thanks for trying.

What if someone is new and doesn't have wild cards?
They are not allowed to played Wild if they have no Wild cards. Why should they played Wild if they are new? They should at least have bought old expansion and discover the artifacts.

There is no rule against playing standard decks in wild. I don't really play wild and I wouldn't play a standard deck in wild, but there isn't anything wrong with it. You sound like a salty elitist.

This.
Wild means "you can play with ALL the cards you want". If you want to play only standards cards in wild, YOU CAN. You can even play wild with only Basic cards if you want.

I heard about new trend going on for a while. Its called minding your own business. It's kinda good. You should try it!) Your comment lacks point because if people are bringin up Standard decks to Wild, they get anihilated. Some of the Wild Tier 2 decks are more powerfull than the best Standard Tier 1 decks. Star Aligner Druid is currently the only deck that is close to Tier S that wrps meta around it a little bit. So instead of complaining take any Wild Tier 2 or 1 deck and get dem free wins instead of ranting and crying. You are not taking so many factors into cinsideration that is not even worth to explain to you why you are wrong.
The thing about standard decks in wild isn't so much about them being difficult to beat or anything. Clearly many of the tier 1 standard decks could be improved by wild cards, so if they aren't playing those then you should have an advantage assuming you have a good wild deck. The part that annoys me though is that they just aren't fun to play against. I go to wild hoping for a break from the zoolocks and odd rogues, but nope, they're everywhere thinking that they can hit legend easier in wild. It's just kind of sad, really.
That said, they aren't the most annoying/oppressive decks in wild. At least they aren't big priest or aviana/kun druid.
But what's the problem here? Standard decks are less powerful then wild decks. You should get some really easy wins if somebody wants to play wild with standard deck.

why not play in casual standard?
Then you get an angry Kaladin in the salt thread, lol

well if their new then you'd ask the question why are they playing wild in the first place. lol
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
New players can't access Wild until a new Standard rotation hits.
Edit: Or of they buy old sets from the online shop. Not completely sure about this, though. Point is you can't access Wild without having Wild cards.

Golden heroes: Warlock, Druid, Mage, Hunter
Since when is a thread enough? He needs his own dedicated forum. Or perhaps his own weekly agony aunt column
"Dear Uncle Kaladin, today someone played a full golden pirate deck in casual. I was ever so sad, what shall I do?"
it could be a great hit.
