Feels that way anyway. I play some deck and I'm on a loss streak, so I decide to change deck into say... zoo warlock. I haven't faced a single control warrior, or a taunt druid and I instantly face one all of a sudden. I've seen this several times, and it's like the game intentionally wants you to lose.
Obviously you don't ALWAYS get matched against your counter, so the answer to "why does your opponent get an easy win" is "because they were on a losing streak recently and the game tries to force you to 50% WR". Do I have proof of that? Nope. Will there ever be proof? Not unless someone leaks the code. Does it matter even if it is true? Not at all. If you don't like it, you don't have to play. It's just how the game works.
It sure feels like that sometimes. And what's more annoying is that I insta concede against certain classes if I don't feel like playing them but almost every time the next person I play is using the same class.
I think that the matchmaking algorithm matches you with an opponent of the same rank, but depending on your winrate or winstreak (or losestreak), your class, your opponent's class and your performance against that class. That probably explains why people keep getting matched with counters and why the meta is completely changed after you switch decks

If that was true; How did Blizzard screw up and pair your opponents against their perfect match-up.
In other words: Why would Blizzard only hurt you and not your opponents? What did you do to Blizzard to deserve to be paired against your counter and your opponents got easy games? Are you an evil person or something?
A few days ago, a similar post was made, with someone complaining that match-making was rigged because 'every time I win four or five games in a row, I'm matched against a counter.'
I encourage folks to offer their own assessments of this complaint - its pros-and-cons. And I'll happily bias the discussion a little bit - there are only cons, and no pros . . .
Folks that are honestly interested in the issue are best served by googling "Hearthstone Matchmaking" - they'll find a link to the issue on the HS wiki, or gamepedia, or some similar site. To no one's surprise, the article explains the match-making process on ladder, casual, arena . . . and also catalogues Blizzard's responses to allegations of match-rigging.
It’s easy. If you have a winning streak that’s too good, you get matched against a hard counter. If you are in a losing streak, yoynhardncohnter the next opponent. It’s really that simple. No linking to accounts, no conspiracies.
But, even if someone did stats on 10,000 occurrences, those people who claim “tin foil” bullshit will still make idiot comments.
It's always happens to me when I switch a deck (3-4 matches that counter me, then it calms and gives me randoms,in my feel, opponents), but also many people claims they expierience the reverse - winning streak at first few matches, then loosing to everything.. It probably depends on your current winning or loosing strike. I would assume that control warrior was on loosing strike since it's not high tier deck and since you switched deck(becouse you felt your present deck is not doing great), you were on that too, so the game matched two losers ;D ekhm two unlucky players with close MR ;)

Only noobs have 50% winrate with a netdeck, most good players have around 60% - 70% winrate with netdecks.
There is a pity timer when you lose enough the algorithm matches you against decks that you have the better odds to win against if you are not a bad player.
When i realized the game decides whether you win or lose and not you deck choices/ individual skill I stopped taking it seriously.

Do you have the slightest clue what CPU was needed to do that? Maybe HAARP is the answer xD
It was really nice when gaming forums were esoteric free zones... but these times seem to be over.
Most likely it is just personal perception. When I was thinking about buying a certain car, I always started realizing how many of this car are driving around my city.
E.g. You are on a winning streak and think you are playing great and everything is "normal", but maybe you were also lucky facing many easy matchup for your deck and you didnt realize it. Then unfortunately you face 3-4 times in a row your counter deck, but this time it sticks much more in your head.
Me for example, I often have the feeling that I draw exactly the 2nd card of my deck, where I exchanged the 1st one at mulligan. Or that the changed card is the first card I draw when the match starts. In reality I draw other cards way more often, but these events dont stick to my head, bc they are seen "normal".

But man is not made for defeat. A man can be destroyed but not defeated.
We have had multiple threads about the matchmaking being rigged in various ways, but until someone presents very solid statistical evidence, we do not allow that kind of discussion.

It most definetly is. There are now two of us so... confirmed!

Here's my attempt to hi-jack this thread -

Yes, it has, but wearing tinfoil hat can fix the problem.
All cards are balanced, but some cards are more balanced than others.

u are f2p right?? dat shouldnt happen on paid account
Do it then.
Yes it does. But some people are too retarded to understand this.
One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.

You just found out that the human brain isn't a flawless logic machine, congratulations!
