I thought Blizzard was being too easy on these challenges, but apparently even the simpler mechanics are just magic to some people
small hint: Hydra will proc even after going below 0 health, which you can do by proccing Pyro twice with one spell. No you figure out how to do that
I tried having fun once. It was awful.
I've been staring at the screen for 20 minutes and I'm pretty sure you can't solve it, you just can't deal the damage.
Yep, I got stuck on this one too. If only there was a way for blizzard to know in advance if all the puzzles have sollutions...

If someone tells you how to solve it, you have not solved it.

you have to set hydra on -1 health (no kidding)

I would not call this "mechanic" as you would like to call it intuative at all though. Nor a simple mechanic, it is one of those things you just need to happen to know. Not everyone knows every little bug.. I mean mechanic of this game. Thanks for the tip though, now get off your high horse please :)
The solution is:
1. play 2x wild pyromancer
2. play commanding shout
3. coin
4. whirlwind
5. acknowledge my 3000 IQ genious

hmm if you get hydra to 1 or 2 hp and have 2 pyros on board you play ww and you deal 9 damage.. so this is something you need to do so..
4 mana 2 pyros 2 mana commanding shout 6 damage(8/5 hydra) coin 6 damage(8/3 hydra) attack face with weapon 5 damage(8/2 hydra) whirlwind 9 damage (8/-1 hydra) = 26 total dmg
didn't test this bug this seems to be the solution did you even try?
1. Play 2 x pyro
2. Play Commanding Shout
3. Coin
4. Attack with the gun
5. Whirlwind
The real question is how to beat the Patron lethal.. i'm stuck on it for like 20 minutes now QQ
I'll give you a hint, you gotta slam your own patrons and get as many things in the whirlwind as possible. You should have 18 damage from patrons/other 3 health attack stuff.
