So because the highest winrate deck right now based on ALL ranks is 57%, that means it’s not possible to pilot it better than average ? Also, you must be new if you think playing aggro gives an average length game of 10 minutes.
If you're going to use above average players to justify raising the floor, you also have to take into account the under-average players who will still grind to 45 wins with a less than 50% winrate. Someone with a 100% winrate (which is impossible) would still need at least 7 hours.
I take into account that the below average player will never go for 45 wins a day. Obviously if you’re going to grind 45 wins a day you definitely know what you’re doing. Raising the gold floor would mostly affect the hardcore players who play a ton.
And thats not healthy. 12 hours a day is NOT healthy. If you do that consitently thats half your life on a video game. Why are you defending that?
There’s no way it takes 12 hours to get 45 wins if you’re a good player playing odd Rogue. Anyway if someone likes the game that much and wants to play 12 hours a day, why do you care ? Let him be.
And we've finally come full circle to the "why do you care?"
Nope. The highest winrate right now is Odd Rogue at 57%. I was being generous with both the game length and winrate anyway.
According to Hsreplay there is a popular Odd Rogue deck that averages almost 60% with the average game length of 5.7 minutes. Figure in that there will be some players that have a higher winrate than that and your numbers don't look generous at all, they look biased. You can hit the current gold cap in around 4.5 hours with a 66% winrate and 6 minute average games, and that's not really that hard to do if you really enjoy the game.
In any case, I agree that we shouldn't raise the gold cap as it really only affects bots and a very small amount of hardcore players. I hit the cap once every couple weeks and it doesn't bother me all that much.
Pretty easy: if you reach the 100 gold cap, then clearly you enjoy the game on its own merits, not the gold farming. However the higher the cap is, the more likely there will be bots trying to farm that gold. So leave it as is.
Your argument is also invalid since you didnt say you get to the cap on a regular basis, you got there this once due to tavern brawl and probably will not get there again sometime soon. So seems fine to me at 100.
I was under the impression the 100 gold cap was to dissuade people from playing for ages at a time, similar to WoW's experience multipliers / negative modifiers.
I've hit the gold cap exactly twice and both times I was grinding for Legend. I don't think an increase is necessary.
Don't want to encourage the bots or the average gold farmers that play casual with meta decks to farm more gold.

You’re a white knight trying to prevent people from playing HS 12h a day because it’s not ‘’healthy’’ you’re taking this way too far my man.

Read that sentence again. You really think 12h is healthy? Really? You can call me names all you want, you know I'm right.

Muting you and this thread.
Oh really, so calling you a White Knight is ''calling you names''
If you take that as an insult, so be it.
Also there's no WAY in hell it takes 12h to farm 45 wins. You can easily get to the gold cap in 5 hours of play. That's literally 6 wins an hour.
And why the **** does that matter if it's healthy or not ? You're on a videogame forum… hello ? If someone wants to farm 100 wins a day, let him DO IT if that's what he wants. Simple. Who are you to decide how many hours a day the hardcore players have to play ? Are you their mother ?
If you’re trying to farm 100-150 gold daily, you need a life.

You already gave up on your life when you started playing HS.

Touché
It takes like 4 to 6 hours to reach the cap...
