Because I just spent 35 minutes of my lunch hour losing a single game to Togwaggle Druid (full decklist no substitutions) in Casual.
Thats why control/combo sucks and we should always wish for a aggro meta.
Though this isn't a discussion about archetypes, I believe any and all should be viable in the meta. I don't want your netdecks in casual however.
To put it simply, where do you go to play against another ladder deck? Ladder.
Where do you go to play against another fun/meme deck? 45% of the time, it's not in Casual. There is NO format specifically for those who want to play a slower/meme/fun/off meta deck against the same.
most of the times they are inverted kala. I lose more in casual then i do on ladder. There are many high legend players raising their alts playing quests in casual and gold farmers. On the ladder though, you have like a 30% chances to find like what,a burgle rogue?or something very similar that isnt oppressive and designed specificatly for destroying opponents.

I took stats for a two week period and 235 games....that's where I got my 45% statistic from. :)

Ok, I played casual mode on my mobile and I am not facing tier one decks that everyone's complaining.
Give it a few more games until you raise your shitty MMR.
EDIT: For anyone looking for a place to have fun with non-competitive decks, either try rank 20-18 wild after the 10th of every month, or concede on purpose once after each win on casual to supress your MMR. Only way I know right now. Game needs custom rules lobbies imho.

I ask one of my buddys from my list - THIS is the fun mode.
Or play your clown decks against the AI. But don't expect that a stranger will look in the future, sees that he will get you as his next opponent and will grant you your wish and play a meme deck like you o.O ...
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.
So.. you lost against a recruit hunter deck that ran zola, highmane, and a lot of secrets? Uh...whats wrong?
No. It's wrong for that to be a common occurrence in Casual. Losing games is not wrong. Losing games in Casual is not wrong. Have no place to play against another fun deck 45% of the time (whereas Ladder decks have a dedicated format that all but guarantees other ladder decks, and an additional format that all but guarantees other ladder decks but doesn't affect your competitive rank 45% of the time) is wrong.

Sorry, but your definition of fun doesn't apply to everyone, some people have fun in playing tier 1 decks.

I should start saying "non ladder decks" - that's what I've been referring to the whole time. People who play ladder decks have an entire dedicated format to play against other ladder decks - almost every time, they'll be guaranteed to queue into another ladder deck. If you want to play a non ladder deck (for the sake of argument, use VS or TempoStorm's Tier 1 and 2 decks), you have a format where just under half the time, you are guaranteed to not be matched appropriately.
"Just concede!" - is the equivalent of saying, "this format isn't working the way it should, so you'll have to do something we didn't intend in order to get the intended result."
"Your definition of fun is subjective! Some people enjoy playing tier 1 decks!" - as I said, you who enjoy playing tier 1 decks already have an entire dedicated format for just such a thing. It even has ranked floors so you need not worry about losing.
Also, surely I cannot be the only one who is unhappy with the state of Casual.

If you don't like the match up you can just concede turn 1 and queue again. It takes like 30 seconds and done.
That's not always true. You often don't know what the deck is until nearly the end of the match (in the case of basically every non-token Druid), and some players will run Genn/Baku but then throw in a bunch of weird crap.
edit:
Let me flip this around and ask those of you who like to play Tier 1 netdecks in Casual:
What would be the downside to YOUR playing experience if Casual were changed with any/all of the proposed changes in this thread?

I have the solution for you and it actually works:
Go in ranked mode and concede 10-20 times in a row.
I am not joking.
After that you will be matched mostly with non ladder decks for sure !
T1 decks are casual mode REAL problem. And bots with T1 decks. Well made by pro player T1, polished and good tuned deck will almost ALWAYS win fun or just homebrewed deck.
I dont mind Tier one or netdeck overall in ranked mode, because ranked is kinda meant to be try hard place where everyone use every possible advantage for winning, but casual should be place for experementing, trying creative things, wacky decks or combos, deckbuilding in general.
There is no good solution for this i think. Removing gold reward is bad overall, because, hey i play gimmik meme decks( or just some homebrewes) and i want to be rewarded for winning. Bans solves almost nothing, because pretty much every class have decent and tuned T1-2 deck.
P.S for everyone who use "playing versus T1 deck with homebrew deck is good, bcs you will see how good your deck is": Just NO. I make decks not because i want them to become T1 and meta breakers, but because i want to have fun and enjoy game. There is nothing good in losing versus deck who obviously use most high powered combinations and cards in the current expancion.
P.P.S: For people who actually play T1 decks in casual.: 1)i dont like you 2)You are enemy of fun and creative part of HS 3) there is no "3)" because this is not salt thread. imagine something related yourself
Edit: And i also dont get that "i want to learn my new ladder deck" reason. You will learn nothing about lets say control warlock gameplay or how to play it right in matchups you will see in ladder, because you learned how to win quest hunters, casino mages and Yeti decks as control lock.

I see people complaining about the decks being played in casual all the time. But no one seems to have a possible solution method.
I've proposed options many many times. Just for starters,
Class bans
Card bans
Custom game options
Higher starting health/armor
Higher starting mana
Custom turn length
Custom starting hand size
Different starting deck size restriction
Card rarity restriction
Remove gold/quest reward (hell, even make an entirely new game mode that doesn't reward gold/quests and call it "casual" and rename current casual to "unranked")
There is no way to actually ban entire decks, but 45% frequency is too damned high.

That's looks similar to custom game modes, that people have asked for but Blizzard never listens.
What's the problem with netdecking? The mode is called "casual" and not "clown mode". So everyone has the right to play the way HE wants to play (not the way YOU wants to play). And if the most people like to play netdecked decks, so it's how it is. If you don't like this, it's only your problem and not their fault. There is no moral obligation to play homebrew decks in casual.
@C_A_W: A custom mode will come maybe some day - but it will take a lot of time, because Blizz is only a small indi company.
What Star Craft 1 had a custom mode about 20 years ago allready? Hmm, yeah, but today such a feature would be too confusing for most of the player base...

Why don't you just let players see the deck they're going up against before they accept the match? If it's a deck they judge to be broken, they can just skip it and search for a new opponent. Could even put a chat box in the screen.
Would casual players legitimately care about the lack of a surprise factor?

Best quotes:

"warlock is not overpowered"
"Playing odd paladin just to test it"
It's not the game's fault, it's the community.
