I have all the other cards for Spell Hunter and Secret Mage, but because I lack the weapons my winrate suffers a lot I think. Which one do you guys think is better (long term)?
Update: I just crafted Rhokdelar, currently having a lot of fun with it. Thanks for the advice!
Rhokdelar is better in my humble opinion. Both are good, but spell hunter is better than burn mage atm. Hunter has low draw, so this on turn 8 or 9 is always a good play.
Well you're only gonna have them in standard for about 8 months... but Spell Hunter is currently the stronger/ more complete/ reliable deck. So my vote would be Rhok'delar?
I own them both, and my answer is also Rhok'delar. So many people thought Spell Hunter would be a total meme - including me, to be honest. I remember one person even considered it "an insult to Hunter mains everywhere." But sure enough, not only is the deck good, it's very fun; been one of my favorite decks of 2018.
Rhok'delar was my free weapon and I'm happy for it.

I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
If your collection is in good shape and you have the extra dust they are worth crafting. It all depends on which deck you like more. Both are good but Alnueth fits in most mage decks, Rhok'delar is only good in one. Though I would seriously think about crafting legendaries with so little time left in standard unless you play wild.
Never craft anything in the first month of an expansion. Just wait and let the meta settle. Although Aluneth does see more play in wild if that means anything to you.
I have both, and I prefer Aluneth, but not because I win more with it (at the moment). With Rockfjfhdjwhatever, there is only one archetype you can play it with. Once you're tired of it, you're tired of the card. 8 months left or not.
If you're a Standard mode player, then both weapons are playable for only one archetype. Thing is: Spell Hunter is currently better than Tempo Mage, and on top of that Rhok'dellar seems more important to SH than Aluneth to TM.

I play a little Mech Hunter and Jade Druid in Wild, I will probably keep playing Spell Hunter/Whatever other archetypes I really liked in Wild. I think I'm going to craft Rhokdelar, thanks for the advice!
Aluneth isn't really a card that's fun or particularly consistant. It just boosts the winrate of tempo mage by occasionally allowing you to topdeck lethal faster. Not to mention that Tempo Mage is very reliant on the meta. If you have too many decks with heal/armor you won't win at all.
Spell Hunter is much more consistent, much more fun, and has a defined core and will probably be relevant in the next expansion as well.

Spell Hunter wasn't a very good deck when Rhok'delar and To My Side! were released, mostly because the meta at that time was way different than the current one. Now, it's a strong one, but if the meta changes radically it could end up being bad again (and to be fair, that could happen to any deck out there). Also, the fact Deathstalker Rexxar is a much more powerful card in a vacuum now, helped this deck a lot too.
Always remember the context is very important... Everything is relative in the end. ;)
I asked myself the same question and ended up crafting Aluneth. I do not regret it. My reason: I already had a viable hunter deck but no viable deck for any other class. So I crafted Aluneth in order to be able to play a different class.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
Rhok'delar. Spell hunter is really good deck, you can't go wrong with it.
8 months is a lot of time left. Don’t let that stop you.

i say alnueth but well depend what you want to play aggro or midrange

I have both and personally I use the Aluenth more, mainly cause I prefer the mage deck
Aluneth!

Rhok'delar is way better. Spell Hunter is always around in some form, Tempo Mage is really bad right now.
Rhok'delar definitely.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

I wouldn't craft either tbh. Neither one is for a T1 deck and Aluneth isn't even really seeing play right now at all.
