Rogue has traditionally always been able to play big controlly decks that do disgusting things that leave control priests and control warrior crying in the corner.
Problem is they always get slaughtered by aggro, mid-range, combo decks or controlly decks that can put out huge early pressure (like handlock) or have ways to chip in dmg (like druid).
So you can make a deck that is good against perhaps 5% of ladder and be weak to everything else.
is it doing well after the price decrease then? I was starting to think it would never get to where we hoped it would in the early days. would be nice to see it eventually supported properly and start smashing stuff.
I didn't think the price decrease would really matter that much, but maybe this was just the right thing to be able to crack it?

It still gets smashed by fast decks. But it is an autowin versus control. Lets hope it doesnt get popular i rly dont want to see a jade-like deck again, because its just super unhealty for the meta.

yeah, that's pretty much how it was before. have you tried it with carpets now the rabbits cost 1 mana each?
I don't think anything like jades will really happen though. they purposely kept the power level down because theres no other ways to make bunnies other then with the 2 starting cards. if there were spells that gave bunny tokens as well, it would be OP.
I don't mind it being a niche sort of deck though as you can still win with it, so if that sort of playstyle is your thing then pogo hopper serves it's purpose.
Was too slow before, may now be a little better with the 1 cost pogo but it's still going to be a slow deck which will get out of control later in the game.
1-cost pogo is a huge deal. Now bouncing them with Daring Escape or Vanish isn't a huge tempo loss. I still don't think the deck is that good as it's hard to put a lot of copy/bounce cards and then still have some defensive options but it is definitely great against control.
I have a deck list with Magic Carpets ready to try but have not had the time to play it yet. Looking forward to it though. The massive amount of crazed Pogo Rabbits followed by a huge EvC is just too tempting to not try to be honest 🤔
I played a couple of games against this deck today. I'm worried it might be the new Quest Rogue--it's got some really polarizing matchups. It'll wreck most (if not all) control decks, but it'll be shit on by any aggro/burn deck. It's still a little slow, but it looks pretty viable now and could function as something that could prevent a control-heavy meta.
Have any optimizations been made to the deck? Do you think we'll see a refined version soon?
edit: was planning something like this, do you think it would work?

You were so fckn right i cant believe that.

It has its moments...
my version wrecks control warrior...

Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.

4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

You only have to play a more cancer deck to counter this cancer deck.
Sleeper? I've gone up against in in 5 of my last 8 matches. It doesn't do well against wall priest unless they get lucky on card draw
No wonder I have no idea what they're discussing on the first page... it's a year ago!
At least this pogo deck requires skills after nerfing the 3 rogue cards and I won't say it's cancer.
Decklist?
