The deck isn't bad per say, it's just so incredibly outclassed that it doesn't have a place in the competitive meta. Combo wrecks it, aggro wrecks it and control is beatable by plenty of other means more efficient means. If you enjoy the deck and are finding success with it, great, keep playing the deck and don't let my words dissuade you. However, no, pogo Rogue is not a sleeper deck and will not break the meta until a lot of cards rotate.
the more optimized version destroys combo decks. it's only aggro that can beat it, and tbh it's getting better at aggro as well (although aggro if they draw well can still beat it quite easy if the pogo player isn't able to draw what it needs. this is why the deck has been stripped right back so it almost certainly will draw the pogos via the draw mechanics and only having essential minions in the list that work towards drawing pogos or copying pogos in some way)
I would check out kolento playing one of the more optimized lists. he wins almost every game VS. all kinds of decks.
I think people are still thinking of the slow version with the fal'dorei and elekk's when they say it's weak.
since it was refined it has over a 50% winrate now.
still there isn't much you can do against a well refined aggro deck from last meta with a few tweaks here and there unless you are a control deck.... and pogo's knack control decks as well if you are good at playing around the removal.. I haven't had much of chance to test it VS control decks though as there aren't many being played right now.
the version from day one that was like a miracle rogue was extremely slow and was very easy for aggro to beat.. the stripped back version with all the draw not so much though.
I'm also thinking the same. The only thing, which is holding this deck down are the aggro decks (and maybe some combo druid ones) and rogue's lack of board clears. It will be even more powerful, if rogue gets more card draw.
Inb4 the moment I saw this card, I asked myself the following question - Do you guys think, that quest rogue will make a comeback, if it includes this card? Because think about it - this deck runs a lot of draw, a lot of taunts and health gain (Vicious Scalehide). I don't have the quest to test it, but does someone still have it and if yes - can someone make a QR Bunny Hopper deck with it? I think, that this will fit nicely there and will grant the deck a different win-condition.
Every time I was playing control warlock, I didn't have much of a problem clearing the 4/4s. The rogue player had to dig a lot in their deck and eventually I won because I exhausted them/applied a lot of face damage. Since the bunnies get bigger and bigger and since you have more reactive minions in that deck, on paper this is a great addition to it.
I was thinking this too. apparently people have revamped the quest deck, but they use giggling rather than hopper to bounce. I haven't ran into one myself yet though.

Edit: While not the best source by any means, tempostorm has Pogo Rogue at the bottom of tier 4. This version is an older version, but they no doubt have at least heard of the newer pogo rogue.

I don't think combining the decks achieves anything, it only makes it even worse against aggro
Quest rogue vs any attrition deck like control warlock is an auto win unless the rogue does not understand the matchup and missplays, which is often. All they need to do is set up the DK, then play scalehide, Zola the scalehide, shadow reflection Zola the Zola. For 8 mana and 0 cards, they've made 12/12 of stats and healed for at least 4. They can repeat this every single turn because they get their Zola and scalehide back in hand

I agree.
what has made pogo rogue a bit better is the stripping it back so it focusses on the main goal rather than jamming a bunch of different things together like people were doing last week.
The one piece of advice I keep giving people is to build separate decks, don't put it all in together as it will just slow you down too much.
I see what you mean and believe me, I think you are right. As for my opponent, no doubt they have misplayed as you state.
But it's just that I definitely see a Poggo deck, which aggressively draws their cards in order to play the bunnies ASAP. The two things, which rogue currently doesn't have in comparison to MSOG jade druid are its abilities to stall and to draw. That's why I really see rogues playing Novice Engineerand also Glacial Shard, Giggling InventorandVicious Scalehide in order to prolong the game as much as possible. You are right - aiming for the quest is already a hard task and completing it can mean a win by itself (so the bunnies might be useless in this regard), but I just like to picture a different build with a different game-plan for this deck.

it does destroy combo decks because they are slow. even the older one did. maybe some broken druid thing might beat it with the insane ramp they have, but I'm yet to see it.
mally rogue maybe as they can OTK on turn 5, it's not very reliable though.
also check the deck tracker stats. this exact version has over 50% (it was about 54% when I last seen it)
I don't really care about some arbitrary tier list on some site I don't even know. I know myself what it can do and that's all that matters to me.
i think its good. A well known player was using it really well in that Funny and Lucky moments video on the front page so i dont doubt theres a well tuned list out.
check my sig... that is the refined version. (it's the best we have so far anyway and more than likely the same version he was running)
there might be slight deviations here and there (some people run thalnos as well. thalnos is decent in the deck, but I prefer 2 pipers as you can draw into more pogos easy with them)
also some decks have zola in them. zola is great, but I am trying to run mine with as few minions as possible.
Until Rogue gets the same defensive tools that druid had which made Jade great Pogo Rogue will be meme tier, as even as a control buster it is outclassed by Kingsbane/Miracle and even Quest Rogue.

What rank are you playing at???
where I am on ladder doesn't really matter. I don't actually play to compete I play for fun and I don't even play that often.
here is a video of kolento playing the deck at high legend and winning a lot though. I seen the whole stream and he was blowing peoples minds as chat thought the deck was a meme.
when it's built right it and played well it's a very good deck.
Until Rogue gets the same defensive tools that druid had which made Jade great Pogo Rogue will be meme tier, as even as a control buster it is outclassed by Kingsbane/Miracle and even Quest Rogue.
Spoiler alert, it won't get any of those.
I take it you haven't seen Kolento playing it yet then?
started off as meme tier, ended up being a pretty solid deck when it was built right. I'd recommend watching someone good play the more optimized version and then you will see dude, it's a beautiful deck.
Kingsbane and miracle can't touch pogo now. Just look at the winrates on the actual good version of the deck, not the me one with all the slow stuff in it.
kingsbane is 40ish, and miracle doesn't even really exist in this meta (although I have seen 1 person playing the old miracle deck with the inclusion of elekk)
The good pogo deck is above 56%... like I have stated multiple times in this thread. the first pogo decks were not very good, but people worked out how to run it properly pretty fast and it become a lot better.
I assume you will see more of them in the coming week due it getting spotlighted by players like kolento who were winning every game with it at high levels.
here is a few games of him from the stream the other night where he beat everything he played at high legend with the better version of the deck. https://youtu.be/2yKadj01erA
EDIT: don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the deck is like hyper OP tier zero or anything, but it's a lot better than people are currently giving it credit.
Pogo isn't bad per se, just the other rogue decks are better.
it's more reliable than tesspionage or deathrattle IMO. odd rogue is still better. tesspionage is a ton of fun though, some of the best games I've had is with that deck. check out regis playing it. he had a game VS. warrior that was nothing short of beautiful. I can link you if you like.
I urge you to try out the newer version of the deck. it will surprise you. ;) (pogo's I mean... there are some better versions now)

Wouldn't the quest over ride the battlecry of the mega bunny if you were to do that?
yes it does. it locks your bunnies in at 5/5 so it's not worth taking in this deck and it's totally counter productive.
people are running quest with giggling inventor I have heard.
Cool sig artwork btw.
Only those which are already on the field.
Since the bunnies get stronger thanks to a battlecry effect, the quest won't overwrite the stats of the bunnies in your hand/deck.
I heard that it locks them in at 5/5 and they can't grow!?
I am not too familiar with quest though tbh, I'm just relaying what I heard.
Quest was nerfed so your minions are 4/4s
Think about the Edwin interaction. He buffed himself after the effect of the quest was applied.
