Guys, I want to know from you, how do you deal with your frustration, when playing this game? I seem to tilt whenever i face warlocks. I hate that class ever since the cubelock era, the time i started playing. And I tilt vs them more often then I'd like to. Do you always just go the salt thread, or just do something else? Fcking Warlocks >.< (all archetypes, but control is the worst)
When i'm salty, i just switch to the most aggro-retarded-never think deck : "tempo" mage, throw a bunch of spells in my opponent's face, claim my 2-3 free stars and get the satisfaction of beating retarded netdecks with an even more retarded deck. If i'm still getting wrecked, i'm just taking a 1-2 days break from the game.
The salt thread doesn't help. No one reads it except for those who read it as a joke. If you really hate warlocks that much you should make a deck that counters warlocks and laugh at them whenever you face them. (Although you might not face any warlocks if you play an anti-warlock deck because of the match-up system)
And im frustrated, because paladin spam decks meta is still live. I was waiting for this expansion and playing games, while thinking that "after some time, this retarded meta will pass", that was something that made me keep going. I feel so salty now...

This. I can’t believe with all the new cards, that odd Paladin with zero boomsday cards is still one of the strongest decks. I deal with it by playing an aoe heavy shaman deck but usually just end up saltier because I never face odd Paladin with that deck.
Personally, I am not a big fan of warlock decks either. However, I think we'll be seeing them a lot because they are the only class with disruption (e.g. Demonic Project and Gnomeferatu).
To answer your question I think it is individual. One of the first steps for me is to accept the state of things: Warlock is in a good spot at the moment, so you might as well prepare to face them a lot. If you are tilting stop playing for a while because you'll eventually start hating every card they play: "Of course he an upgraded spellstone to prevent lethal" etc. Finally remember it's just a game and you'll probably get equally lucky and unlucky after you've played enough games.
It really depends. Your mood can be a factor, and not everyone copes in the same way.
For me, I switch between either: pushing myself to keep playing until I'm numb to the meta/memorized what's being run and making changes accordingly, or taking a break to clear my head. (length any time between an hour, to a day)
If you're really feeling lost, watch high legend players on Twitch to get an idea to build off of.
Play a meme deck in casual to cool off. That way you're not stressing about winning or losing. In fact, I'd recommend conceding your first game or two just to emphasis that losing a game in casual with a fun deck costs you nothing. It's a good way to drive the point into your head that it is just a game.
Or you could just take a break and do something fun irl. Do something not related to HS, gaming, or anything else technology related.
Everyone gets salty or tilted sometimes, but if you get tilted consistently just because you're facing not even a particular deck, but a particular class, then you need a shift in your approach and mentality in the game. There are people that simply like the warlock class, that like control, or that font have many cards and can't afford many good decks outside zoolock. You probably also have a preferred style and class and somebody out there probably hates that combination as well (unless you go full meme).
I only get tilted when my opponents have insane luck, and when this happens multiple games in a row. If I go up against a uninspired netdeck, no new card odd paladin, I'll roll my eyes, but is it really worth the effort to get tilted? No, just play out the game and move on.
I revel in the unfounded salt and incessant "I Quit" threads

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
lol now is such a terrible time to be tilted by warlocks. They are the most played class by far so far
I don't know about you, but winning usually reduces salt for most people. If you want to win against warlock, I suggest odd rogue as it statistically has the best winrate against warlocks overall (both zoo and the tappy kinds). If you want to target specifically the slow kinds, you want to use either sticky control killer decks like deathrattle rogue/hunter or odd face hunter, though these decks can be quite sketchy against everything else
Don't be salty; get out there, slaughter them and be happy ;)
i just hate the demon locks cheating voidlord into play with a 5 mana weapon is pretty tilting. 18 lifepoints in a single card/ just for them to play it again and then bring them all back with their hero class card.
You also don't know what the lock is playing so you have to mulligan for anti-aggro because zoo is good af.
I hate this whole build a wall meta and combo decks just playing with themselves is pretty lame. And with the cheesyness of magnetic and aggro decks i don't blame you tbh. This meta is pretty tilting.
Increase your rate of alcohol consumption and continue to tilt until the next thing you remember is the next morning, realizing you have 20 fewer stars than you started with and swear you'll never play that stupid game again (you will, though).
I’ve noticed that mostly I start to tilt after a losing streak. I’ve taken following approach to keep my cool:
1. After 3 losses in a row I keep a break and play/do something else where you cannot get salty. Play some singleplayer game or watch an episode of a good serie etc.
2. When I start to notice my frustration to grow too much, I’ll normally go for a walk. There I think the games through and try to figure out how to counter those decks
3. As many have already stated, find what decks walk over the decks you hate and play those. This of course will lead some other decks to stomp you.
Master Yoda has given us really good thought which I sometimes use too:
Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
If you reflect this to your case, it kinda makes sense.
This seems like the best sort of advice - frustration is ultimately a choice, and a by-product of one's expectations when playing the game. If someone is frustrated by the game, complaining about it only serves to exacerbate that frustration. The brain is hard-wired to experience sharp spikes of emotion only for a brief moment - a person simply can't be angry for much longer than it takes to say "fuck this!" However, after the brief spike of emotion, many people then tend to dwell on all the perfectly good reasons they now have to be miserable - "Ben Brode sucks!", "combo decks are ruining the game!", "aggro players are assholes!", "why haven't they nerfed this bull-shit card!", and so on. The emotion has passed, but the person is passively making a choice to continue to be miserable - sometimes for hours on end, or days on end. It's a passive choice, since most folks aren't aware that they are doing it. Once they become aware of it - deep-breathing might sound like a bunch of flakey bull-shit, but it works - they can simply choose not to be miserable, i.e. choose not to aimlessly bitch and moan, and thereby prolong their misery.
Some folks also externalize their own personal identity, and sense of self-worth - they primarily identify themselves as "a HS player," rather than the person they actually are. They tend to think that they know what is best for the game - as a result, when anything happens that they don't like, they take it as a personal insult, since they've invested so much of their own self-worth in their own understanding of how the game "should really be." They get needlessly upset when their opponents play decks they don't like playing against, and they get needlessly offended when a card they think is OP never gets nerfed. And a hundred other complaints will get them equally upset, since they are "a HS player" - there's even an internal logic that many would actively accept, namely, that "real" players are clearly the target audience for the game, and it is therefore perfectly just and right that their interests be catered to. When they aren't, opponents and devs are morally blameworthy. However, externalizing personal identity is another passive choice - once a person realizes they've made it, it can be unmade, and all the frustrations that formerly followed from their choice will recede.
Second of all and on a more serious note: if you lose three games (max), take a break, grab a coffee/tea/whiskey, wreck some fags in wild rank 20+ or indulge into solo adventures and if you feel the jo in playing again, go for it. As to your despise of wrist cutters, play a counter deck (Zoolock -> Odd Rogue, Control Warlock -> Shudder Shamen)

Well, being a positive person helps a lot. ;)
I would ask reynad how he does it. He never gets salty. Ever.
Memes and metal songs= the cure of salt induced by netdeckers in casual and anduin's bitch face in wild
I inhale nicotin. Then fap.
Step one: add last opponent as friend
step two: say “you play bad you nob cyka blyat you sheep”
Final step: remove friend
always works! Always a good idea! kappa
