Currently rank 10-9. My last 10 games were 8 Druids, a zoolock and a spell hunter. I didn’t beat a single one of the druids.
It doesn’t matter what deck type they are, each has all the armor stack cards and two Spreading Plagues, which is enough to beat any deck most times.
If all I’m going to be facing are faceroll druids, what’s my best deck archetype option? OTK combos don’t seem to work against them, no aggro deck can put out enough damage to overcome their armor/removal/faceroll taunts, and no tempo deck can keep up with their ramp. The only unreliable success I’ve had is with a big spell mage and absolutely perfect draw.
This isn’t a salt thread but if I’m going to be in a Druid dominated meta until their bullshit rolls out of Standard, what do I want to be playing to even have a fighting chance? My win rate against druids is abysmal.
Play the Druid deck that you can't beat if you have the cards. When you play the deck and lose some games you will figure its weaknesses. It is a good way to quickly find out what decks can counter druid. If nothing counters you then you will rank up a lot so win-win scenario :D

I have heard that the best thing to beat a Druid is another Druid but strong Druid decks are 5-6 stacking legendaries now. Beyond that I’d have to craft two branching paths, ultimate infestations, it’s just too expensive.
Play control or evenlock with Demonic Project. Defile and hellfire deals with token druid, project deals with most of the rest. Just be sure to only play project when your opponent is setting up to go off so you don't whiff. The only druids you don't auto win against should be taunt and big, which are quite rare
Mecha'thun priest is pretty great against them. You empty your deck faster than they can pull off any combos.
Indeed. Mecha'thun Priest wins by turn 10-11 on average. Queue BB_laughter_sample_no_3787.ogg when they try to stabilize with Last Word: Infestation on turn 10.
Us Druid mains tend to fold to well timed Dirty Rats or Deathlords as they disrupt our win conditions cleanly. I can also say from experience that the new Mech Hunter archetype is a hard match because the magnetic stacks force single target removal, which we often don’t have enough of. I would suggest playing a heavy control or mill deck or something that plays lots of fast sticky boards, that’s what I tend to lose to.
Play for board, play around SP all the time unless it's specifically taunt druid (which isn't that popular currently) as control I am not sure control kinda sucks atm unless you are warlock and can run demonic project, as aggro try to rush him, deal as much damage, trading only if it's worth, and against consider SP also you can try and play Mossy Horror it's great against both SP and the annoy-o-flood that's really popular.

That doesn't have to be true in wild. I reached legend in wild last season with a Togwaggle druid that has a 82% wr against ratty renolocks. The deck contains ten minions and runs multiple ways to get the combo off so that if I lose key cards like Aviana and Kun, I can still easily win. The only card that loses me the game if ratted is Togwaggle himself. I've been focusing on standard so I haven't updated the list for boomsday but I'm excited to re-refine soon
It's only a different story in standard, as there's not enough reasonable or synergistic minions to run in a druid deck that could double as rat project fodder other than giggling inventors
I recommend Control Warlock. If you watch the last couple of Stan Cifka VODs, he's working on a strong list. Essentially, you ruin their combo (Togwaggle or Maly) using Demonic Project, but you need to time it correctly to have the best chance. Cifka runs 1, but I think 2 is better.

This. I also find that miracle rogue with espionage beats them up as well. The only druid I have lost to with miracle the past few days, had an insane amount of ramp and all of their combo pieces with 18 cards left in their deck.

Control warlock with many techs possible.
Win vs any druid or Mechatun decks.
Thanks I’ll try it now. I’d have to craft Kathrena. Worth you think?

Mech Warrior works surprisingly well with the magnetic cant be targeted by spells.. You can build a board druid just cant deal with
Seems ok.

mechathun priest, can vouch it does well against druids. my odd paladin was getting wrecked by druid and then i switched up to priest and i did fine.

Tech in silence for the cthun decks

Play ctrl warlock or oddrogue, they can usually fk my games up as malydruid, as not much minions on board for spreading plague like with zoo
I'm playing Control Warlock with Demonic Project, Gnomeferatu and Skulking Geist. Play Project at the right time, and suddenly their Malygos/Mecha'thun becomes a Blood Imp.
And Control Warlock has traditionally been good at handling Aggro, so it's decent all around.
