I looked at your deck and first thing that came in my mind was it looks like garbage. Seems like people have success with it so my assumption is wrong but that might be why you got downvotes. People vote without trying, i will test your deck once i get home
Personally, I can't stand a deck that has an impossible winrate in its title based on a winning streak the person had with it. Otherwise, I agree with InstallGentoo's list
Another reason being overlooked here. This applies to anything with an upvote/downvote system, not just decks, but posts as well. On any site with a score system for posts (like Reddit for example), It's not unusual for people to see a post with a negative score and downvote it without reading it because they just assumed you deserved it. Same thing applies for deck as they use the same score system.

So if you like doing that stuff, then just do it. I know it's not great advice, but just ignore the couple of people downvoting then. I hate the whole "ignore your haters" argument just because I like feedback on my stuff, but in your case it might be better to just focus on the people who say they like what you did and the private message and so on. I also love theorycrafting (shameless plug to look at my garbage stain decks) but you can't expect everyone to like it.
Also, if you think your that much of an attention-whore, downvotes are still attention I guess?

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
Maybe you have a lot of enemies on this forum. One guy downvoted all my decks even the fun ones just because he disagreed with my opinion in one thread . Until this day I have some of them at 0 upvotes lol xD, Now seriously:
If they don't leave any comment on the deck explaining what they have problem with, I'm not bothering on my decks downvotes. You shouldn't bother too. Just build and post decks that you enjoy as I do and ignore them
I don't know about everyone else, but if it doesn't contain Lord Jaraxxus, I think the deck deserves to be downvoted just on principle.
2) Micheal Jackson wouldn't have played it.
If the King of Pop wouldn't have played your deck, then what good is it?
3) I just lost a game.
If I lose a game, I'm salty. If I lose a game to a deck I see online, I must downvote it.
4) Kripp told me to.
Kripp doesn't like other people getting the spotlight. If there's a deck he wants featured, he often asks his army to downvote everything else. If we don't comply, he threatens with kicking Rex. What a monster!
5) I missclicked.
Sometimes, you try to upvote a deck, but your finger slips. Oh, well! Life must go on.
6) It doesn't have sexy cards.
No one wants to play with a sausage party. If your deck doesn't contain hot girls, then it's no good.
Can't speak for others but what personally triggers me is the following:
1) Winrate flashing (i.e. 80% winrate and they've only played 10 games. On the flip side there are some decks that I've piloted over 20 games to an 80% winrate but I never include it in the title. I subtly place it in the text if it's actually relevant and asterisk it based on what I faced).
2) No Guide
3) Outright vote begging (I should specify that while I do not like the approach "give me X amount of upvotes and I will make a guide" only to be followed up by give me another X votes for this, I will not downvote a deck for it. I will simply ignore it which is pretty odd considering that I write out complete guides for each and every deck.
4) Some people are just complete cunts (Not even going to chew on my words on this one)

Speaking of myself, I typically downvote for pretty much obvious reasons: when I stumble upon a rehash of an old deck, with no substantial innovations and no explanations, and when a deck has no apparent synergy and no description that highlights what should be particular of the list. My downvotes are silent, but always prompted by the above. However, people downvote silently when the above is actually checked, and reasons are honestly obscure, as it could be anything.
Whenever something catches my attention, but i am dubious of deck performances, I comment asking for more precise info, suspending the vote (but there's so many users that comment negatively while having no insight whatsoever).
I upvote when I find a fairly original and decently performing idea, or when deck title/description adds flavour and/or is hilarious.
In general, I hardly vote (up or down).
Tbh, I am fairly sure the most downvotes happen because of free hate in anonymous internet.

Haha fair enough. I like your theorycraft in your tag despite people downvoting that one as well. Looks like you've got some good discussions going on it so it's gotta be better than "garbage stain". Upvote from me

This might actually be the case. Posting around the forums enough means people start recognizing you and one post being a dick to someone could result in constant downvoting from them. I can't think of anyone in particular aside from that one rogue main that spends every single expansion complaining about how the new cards suck.
I don't know about everyone else, but if it doesn't contain Lord Jaraxxus, I think the deck deserves to be downvoted just on principle.

And how do you know that?
Sheep science. When a sheep falls off a cliff, the other sheep will follow it even if it's not the brightest idea. They always follow each other.
This exact same logic applies to humans. When a post is at its original score, no one bats an eye, but as soon as it gets a single downvote, lots of people start jumping on the downvote bandwagon, and that initial downvote can be for a multitude of reasons, not all of which are necessarily justified, such as simply just not agreeing with an opinion (and some people are just duechebags). Even positive comments can get really low scores because someone downvoted it (possibly because that person thought they were being sarcastic) and other people follow suit. This is reinforced by the fact that occasionally, someone might ask why the comment is getting downvoted and then readers will realize the comment doesn't deserve its low score and try to upvote it back to a positive score.

If you look at any deck on Hearthpwn, you're bound to find downvotes. I understand some of the key reasons why people might downvote a certain deck (no guide, rehash of popular decks, poor win rate, vote begging with no followthrough), yet you can regularly find decks on this site that have none of those and yet still get downvoted. Personally, I've always made my own decklists with guides and have regularly received downvotes along with the upvotes I've gotten. I always believed that it was because I wasn't a legend player. Because of that, I was excited to hit legend this season and post my own deck to this site, complete with a guide. Yet despite fitting all the criteria I believe people would provide upvotes for, almost a quarter of people who have bothered to vote for my deck have decided to downvote it without a single comment to provide insight. Yes, I'm definitely salty about this, but I'm also curious as to what I'm missing here? What else would make someone downvote decks?
Site full of kids and bad players that ain't past rank10. Don't worry mate, I get trough this kinda of problem. They could remove this Downvote Upvote Tool, it's only used for trolls or ragerkids
None of your decks are in the negative so I don't know what you're bitching about. If the majority of people like your decks why do you care. It's like you're demanding universal praise.
Not even counting the decks you have with insane amounts of upvotes and views.
This one here is already spoted in the thread xDDDDD

Oh, yeah, you are one of those who love to think people are retarded as f...k. Sheep people exist, but they usually follow leaders or groups of well known people, not some random dumbass or dumbasses on the internet. And when someone asks on the internet why his/her comment is getting downvoted, actually he or she receives more downvotes, not the other way around.

You probably created some neckbeard ladder cancer control bullshit. You got downvoted because you deserved it.
Smooth. If you took a second to look at my deck, you'd see that it's in fact an aggro deck, and one that beats the actual "cancer" decks of tempo mage, even shaman and odd pally. So tell me exactly how I deserved it.
I imagine because they don't like the deck for some reason is the most rational explanation, but they get downvoted for a multitude of reasons, from trolling to plagiarism, and sometimes even because they don't like the forum member.
I like to try and stay positive though so I like to think the vast majority of downvotes are legitimate. I'd be completely naive however to assume this is the case 100% of the time.
