Looking to play rogue this expansion but only have 8k dust. I'm thinking about crafting Baku for odd rogue... think it's a safe craft for this meta/expansion?
I hope so. I have all the cards except baku, so I might go ahead and do it. I kinda hope it gets some Boomsday cards incorporated into it. If I had more dust I'd experiment myself with Myras Unstable element, etc.. but we'll see. So far, Maly rogue is strong but like you said, it's too early to tell right now.
Any decks you guys think will be at least a tier 3 or 2 deck? Or is rogue just going to crumble with this expansion ( besides odd)?
Deathrattle rogue seems decently strong at the moment. May end up tier 2. Just the combination of early Devilsaur eggs and the potential to drop 21 damage in one shot with a Leeroy, Cube, Necrum Blade trigger seems really good.

If you have all the cards besides baku, do it. Baku will always be good because it's so diverse and a neutral legendary. Honestly, you could even craft genn because there is practically a guarantee that both will be good some time in the future.
I would say don't bother unless it's odd rogue. It's obvious by now that players will always gravitate toward decks like odd rogue/paladin or the things they counter, so just get good at odd rogue and you'll climb. Don't even think about having fun and trying new ideas, that's not allowed.
Rattle Rogue looks respectable. Odd Rogue is particularly strong right now. Miracle looks like it has fuel, but I'm not sure if it has the strength to really compete. Although Thief Rogue is also looking pretty sweet with Academic Espionage. Again, not sure if that last one has the legs to ladder, but it's worth a look. Maly Rogue, while fun, is not competitive. Just too reliant on getting those cards and stalling off opponents, which higher on the ladder, does not work.

A never-Legend Dad who keeps making rank 2 or 1, but then sliding.
Rumbling around Gurubashi Arena. Shirvallah is the best loa. Go Tigers!

You must be fun at parties. You can certainly try fun decks. I just wouldn't do it on high ladder ranks.

Not if you are on a budget like the OP is. If he wants to win, there's only one deck he can play.
If you are going to play Odd rogue, prepare for the most boring Rogue archetype there is. The new deathrattle is much more fun and also not that expensive.
Do you just want rogue wins? Cause then go ahead and craft odd rogue cause it's good. But it's just an extremely boring curvestone deck in a class with a lot of fun possibilities. If you want to do rogue stuff then I'd say wait.
Please don't take the advice of all the people mentioning which decks are crap. It's only a few days into the expansion. Nobody has tried everything yet. Just be patient with your dust and see how things pan out.
I am conflicted. Because on one hand, I want wins ( so I can get my golden rogue, 200 away from 500 wins ) and on the other I want something rogue-like/fun to pilot AND a competitive, tier 1 or 2 deck. I'm tempted to go ahead and craft Baku and play odd rogue but deathrattle rogue seems fun, but it's hard to say if it will remain a viable deck in the future. Thanks for all the insight so far guys.
I played A LOT of odd rogue last and current season and the deck is fun and requires a lot more thinking than people think.
On the other hand in the long run it becomes a bit frustrating cause bad draws in the first turns can really screw you and there's nothing you can do about it. Losing even favourable matchups like that made me crazy.
The deck is at the best spot it's ever been right now so if you care about wins it's obviously the best rogue deck at the moment.
P.S. Note that some matchups are quite bad so if you're facing a lot of odd paladins I don't recommend this deck. Shudderwock Shaman is a pain in the ass too.
I don't recommend Odd Rogue since it doesn't increase your skill cap. You can try Mill Nzoth Rogue in Wild. In standard, play Tess Rogue to maximize the fun. If you like Eggs, you should try Deathrattle Rogue with Necrium Vial. Eventually, my deck recommendation precedence: Mill Rogue>Tess Rogue>Deathrattle Rogue>Odd Rogue.

Hi my dood.
Its early but seems like odd rogue will at least be competitive in the meta for a while to come.

Yeah Odd Rogue is still good right now. Pogo rogue sucks so don't bother with that. Deathrattle Rogue is fun but seems T2.

But until then, Baku is definitely a safe craft.
