I know it's the first day, but in all honesty, the new cards aren't wowing me at all. Magnetic and the Mech decks feel weak as shit, the Legendary spells don't feel as impactful as they're supposed to be, and even the Dr. Boom hero card feels underwhelming.
What upsets me the most is the one interesting part of the expansion, Puzzle Lab, is dripfeed and won't be here for another two weeks, just like Monster Hunt was. The dripfeeding of the new PvE stuff is really stupid, especially since Dungeon Run wasn't dripfeed.
The expansion just feels boring, just like Witchwood.
For the dripfeed thing, yeah I don't like it at all. As for the cards though, I feel like they are pretty impactful and pretty fun. What type of decks have you been playing? Maybe it's just that you haven't found a deck that you really like to play yet.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
I was the first to vocalize how disappointed I was with the expansion theme and mechanics overall, so I get it OP, but I see the error in my ways by judging the expansion at the moment of announcement -- and that goes to anyone now too, without having played it.
Give it some time, have fun with the new decks you can craft, maybe something in at least one class will catch your eye?
Plus, everyone's excited with pack-openings and new possibilites. There will be a time for discussing power levels once the expansion been thoroughly played, just not today.
Yeah i tried putting new cards in my already existing decks, cant afford to craft new ones, and ended up just switching them cuz they really sucked, but we will see in 2 weeks
no offense but at this point it'S getting ridiculous. We're 4 hours into the new expansion, so unless you have played literally every single new deck you can't be "underwhelmed".
Have you ever considered that it's maybe jsut Hearthstone in general that doesn't excite you anymore? MAybe it'S time to move on to something different?
If you have the dust malygos shaman is super fun. As is mech Paladin with Kangor's Endless Army. Playing Kangor's after making big 11/9 mechs with lifesteal and rush feels SO good and usually closes out the game. I highly recommend using Bulldozer with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius and especially if you run The Boomship because a 9/7 divine shield with rush is INSANE and if you can get multiple out with The Boomship your opponent generally can't do anything about it. My point is, I had no idea what to do with the cards I opened, so I started experimenting, and I've had so much fun across so many classes already.
Another milestone! The premature 'it's weak' thread. I get that the OP didn't set out to be 'that guy' but sometimes success is a surprise. Congratulations nonetheless.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
The rotation expansions are the ones that feel so impactful compared to the rest. New cards added to the mix compared to new cards added and a ton removed is always underwhelming. Give it a bit and some crazy stuff will start happening.
surely there is no possible way to feel underwhelmed yet? I haven't had time to even try out all classes yet, but warrior paladin and rogue have been a lot of fun to play up to yet. I admit the build up to this expansion I definitely wasn't feeling it, but after putting decks together and getting to play some of the new cards I have actually had a fun few hours of hearthstone which I haven't been able to say for a while.
Most new cards are working like a charm for me at high rank. (Currently.) Maybe learn to play with them. Or at all if you are making threads like this on Day 1.

Well played.
Guess you didn't open Dr Morrigan, Flarkmaster and Subject 9. Congratz.

So if you opened some unwanted legendaries the expansion is underwhelming? Nice logic.
I'm on a massive winning streak on my own theorycrafted mech warrior, mech paladin, and overlord maly druid. I'm doing 50/50 with my tempo mage, and I just started playing my demon zoo warlock and my overload token shaman.
Need to see in a week or two if it's worse than "Dustwood" -- which had the fewest cards used in decks in comparison to K&C, KoFT and Un'Goro until one of the nerfs.

Honestly, yes. I was never so much dissapointed.
Glad I didn't preorder or something.

I don't have any cards that allow for new and exciting decks, so yes, this set feels disappointing.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
I'm enjoying the mechs going around...
Tried to adapt my priest and lost terrible and badluckily... lol
Played four games, and love mech warrior so far. Lots of choices, and Boom is a blast.

Oh, look! He ran out of things to whine about, so he made something to whine about.
Zoo warlock and Malygos (or something else druid) is the only decks I encounter.
Nice expansion, 7 of 9 classes dead, good job Blizzard... <_<
