I don't think any card game is a threat to Hearthstone right now. The game has a ton of players and it's not like 1 game is going to swoop over and steal the throne. If anything, Blizzard is going to make stupid mistakes and lose all of it's player base, which probably won't happen. Not saying that the other games are bad (mtg arena is soo much fun) just that Hearthstone has a much larger player base and is 'untouchable' in the same way other blizzard games are untouchable, such as Overwatch.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
MtG:Arena si a great improvement in comparison to what had come before it, so some old school players may turn to it.
All the others game will never be a threat to HS for various reasons: mechanics, lenth of matches, graphics, etc.
Only Artifact from Valve may be a competitor because it's so innovative and with an open market where you can trade and buy/sell from other players the cards.

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Artifact is the only one with a chance, in my opinion.
Gwent has been chronically mismanaged by the devs and is essentially dead (I used to play seriously). I have been in the MTGA beta from the start, but it is many times more expensive and more P2W than Hearthstone.
If you read the recent SuperData report, almost three-quarters of CCG players are exclusively mobile - cheaply-made, mobile-friendly knock-offs, like "Clash Royale," are far more likely to make an impact on the market than the games listed by the OP. While Shadowverse, etc, are "big" PC-friendly games with all the bells and whistles, featuring more in-depth game-play, those sorts of games aren't really what the digital CCG player-base is looking for - five minutes, quick-and-easy, seems the format best-suited for CCGs. HS straddles the space in-between.
I've played Gwent and TESL. Even though people really like Gwent I coudn't :( However, TESL is another story. It is very similar to Hearthstone and IMHO its an upgraded version of Hearthstone. I'm currently playing both Hearthstone and TESL and I definitely suggest TESL to my friends who wants to play a CCG. In TESL it is very easy to collect good amount of cards and make various competitive decks. In almost 24 hours of free play you can create multiple decks that can take you to legend ranks. Only downside of TESL against Hearthstone is the lack of sites like HSReplay.net or vicioussyndicate.
If anyone haven't played TESL before I strongly recommend it. Since it has very similar dynamics to hearthstone it is really easy to understand the game and play competitively.
Another promising card game would be Reynad's Bazaar. I can't tell when it will come but it looks promising.
Haven't played before but Duelyst looks interesting also.
Artifact looks promising, but it‘s not really something for casusl players, and these cadual playerd are thr majority of Hearthstone players. Also many people don‘t want to pay 20$ just to be able to play Artifact.
I thought artifact is not f2p? And they wont be giving out free stuff because they dont want to devalue stuff over there, pretty sure i read that about artifact recently. Thats already a dealbreaker for most of hearthstone playerbase lol
This thread is already a meme. People said the same thing about WoW getting killed off to competition years ago; and by now all of its competition is already buried deep in the trash. Once people find out how truly shit all the other digital card games are they're going to come back to Hearthstone and wonder why they even bothered to begin with.
Not even Artifact is going to come anywhere close to reaching the popularity and success of Hearthstone. Though with the DotA 2 scene being the pinnacle of esports, I can see professional Artifact really taking off since Hearthstone tournaments are a complete joke.

Hey all F2P players out there! Try out my 100% free deck before trying to call this game pay to win!!!
I used to play a lot of card game, but unfortunately for my mental care... Hearthstone is unique and it offers so much fun (with a great and relaxing art) that i can't really delete it for another card game
The great asset of Hearthstone is that it is very visual - you can watch streams and the UIX is clean, friendly and without too much detail. On other games it is really not good experience to watch the games.
As far as I can tell from my experience: HS will be #1 digital CCG for a very, very long time. MTG is holding the #1 TCG spot for decades. You can blame Blizzard for balancing, changes and other stuff if you want but you gotta admit that all their games are Top-Tier. And Hearthstone is no exception. There might be some other games that will shine like MTG:Arena and Artifact but they won't take the #1 spot because they either are P2W(MTG) or they have really serious competition in form of HS (Artifact). A lot of people and the game developers do not understand sometimes that giving a ton of freebies doesn't means that they will archieve bigger numbers and popularity. Team 5 responsible for Hearthstone are doing amazing job in terms of promotions, card arts, new unique effects (Kazakus, Zombeast),animations, and balanced path of F2P and P2W strategies which improved a lot since the beggining of the game.
Other CCGs are already dissolving:
Shadowverse is basically anime Hearthstone that is played mostly in Japan and South Korea but never became a huge thing worldwide. Ranked climb is not challenging at all since you drop very low after you archieved the highest ranks ( If this is old ranking system have mercy on me, I haven't played Shadowverse for almost a year xD)
Gwent got so obssesed with being better than HS that they just ruined the game. I'm glad I played in high ladder before they destroyed the game.
TESL is kinda good but have little cardpool and they are forced to give so much free stuff in order to stay somehow relevant
Faeria is really good game but too complex for some people so thats why it won't appear attractive to masses. I mean some of the CCG players are freaking out when card has more than 2 sentences in its text.
Duelyst: I bet someone still knowes that this games exists.
Blizzard is just doing great job. They are the company that are giving their soul into game developing and milking money from it at the same time. I doubt someone takes the #1 spot from HS anytime soon.
None because hearthstone has two things that all the other games lack
1) Fanlegions. A few companies have so many and so dedicated fanboys. They can create vitrual d*cks and the fanlegion not only will buy them but will tear apart everyone that dares to criticise blizzard.
Artifact, mtga... compared to hs... I think they have different target audience...
...and they are different... artifact will be more pro oriented imo... higher skill cap... less fun for an average player... or better a casual player... a lot of pros (or/and streamers) complain about rng, luck, polarised matches... that too many times it may not matter if you played better than your opponent....
for one: I (average rank5 player) will play both Artifact and hs... for fun... why fight when we can get along... :)
we had seen some cards game that have potential to trump over hearthstone .
ShadowVerse / Elder scrolls : Legend / Gwent (released )
Magic the gathering Arena / Valve card games (coming soon )
In my opinion, none. Not even close. But Artifact is on my watchlist though, not a threat at the moment, but will see at launch.

Drop the T. There has never been a trading system in Hearthstone.
Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
