@dirbrian: And now please make a list where another streamer got a lot of ratings wrong!
And for your examples: Most of the people underestimated Creeper by far. Tell me one person who said at his review, this purple worm will be five stars!
Guys like you don't even understand how Trump rate the cards. By his rating system he was actually right for long time, that Prince-2 and Defile would be bad, because he predicted correctly, that this cards will not see any play in meta decks at least for a long time. Control Warlock was meh when Defile came out, so Defile was not played a lot. And the prince seen no meta play at all until the meta changed because of the nerfs.
@ Bardoca: You don't like his content? No problem, then just don't watch it. No reason to be an asshole and flaming him just because his rating doesn't match your taste!
Ok, I'm sorry to double post, but after I wrote the last one I saw Kripp's Top Boomsday Card video.
If you're going to shit on Trump for being pessimistic, you MUST go at least as ham on Kripp for insanity in the other direction.
Bomb Toss is apparently a top card
Stargazer Luna: "You'll often be able to get 3-5 cards out of it"
Research Project is going to be played in control and tempo mage . . .
Glow-Tron: "Single best card in set" , "nothing in the game that can do that"
Academic Espionage: "Incredible tempo over time" ???????
The Storm Bringer: "Easy to use . . . so powerful"
Dr. Boom: "Single defining card solidifying mech warrior in every meta moving forward . . . wild level broken"
Omega Agent: (even without handbuff) "Single most crushing game-swinging card I've ever seen" "One of the best cards in all of standard"
Galvanizer is the best neutral card in the set . . .
Everything in quotes is word for word. Anyone want to take a bet on who is closer to the truth . . . Trump or Kripp?
I'll take that bet...
Cool, we necro this thread right before next set or next set of nerfs (whichever comes first)
Forum decides who was closer
Loser gifts winner the next preorder?

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
This is the most unrelentingly pessimistic set review ever by Trump. Controversially, he has almost completely written off mechs as a tribe. That said, Trump is often wrong and he hasn’t been a competitive player for a very long time. If you look up to Trump as a pseudo-intellectual, you’re probably 12. Kappa
I suspect he’s just making inflammatory predictions to try to grow his Twitch/YouTube business.
Once again, the Gul'dan / Defile / Keleseth ratings were basically dead on. The warlock cards maybe should have been bumped one star, but they were played in a very lackluster warlock deck with the ever popular Abyssal Enforcer where they were farmed by druid and priest till KnC came out. Keleseth was nonexistent in the meta.
I really enjoy people laughing at predictions that were dead on. It's funny because seeing the sets that came after we now know those cards have become powerful. It's more funny when people actually think he was wrong at the time.

Oh forgive me, the vast majority of the player base got wrong

My personal favorites are the ones who insist Arcane Tyrant is CLEARLY much better

That’s why I excluded the Creeper prediction, almost everyone missed it. But DK Gouldan? Come on man...
Just my take, but I feel like Trump has lost his love for Hearthstone. This time his set review, arguably his biggest stream in 4 months, was split into 3 short streams so he could play some board game...
I used to look forward to Trump reviews, but he’s clearly just phoning it in.
I don't even follow his stuff, so you may be absolutely right about his commitment and that sort of thing. I just think it's fairly reasonable to say that a bunch of stuff that Blizzard tries to push never goes anywhere in constructed play. Remember freeze shaman?
Not saying mech is THAT bad, and I suspect it'll do well in warrior, but hunter and paladin are highly meh.
And yes, Gul'dan is awesome with Voidlord / Lackey in the world, but it got ran the hell over in Aug-Dec 2017 days. Even zoo wasn't much of a thing because that was the time of prenerf spreading plague.

Kripp plays 90% arena 10% constructed he plays a LOT of arena.. a LOT so he sees a very powerful arena breaking card and he thinks it's very good in constrcuted the sad reality is as trump sees it.. but I like the optimistic kripp more on some reviews at least he isn't "lol it loses to 2 decks 1 star."
I don't mean to start a discussion, but why druid? If you meant jade druid, that was actually one of the easiest MUs (at least for me). I ran Skulking Geist and the HP helped me a lot in finding it. Token Druid was a bit hard (especially before the nerfs), but this MU was still winable. I ran a lot of anti-aggro tools and I think the aggro decks weren't a big issue.
[edit] Big Druid was stronger, but this deck popped up after the nerfs as far as I can remember and I could also win against it, if I drew my Twisting Nethers on time.
Razapriest on the other hand was a serious one... I can even add Big Priest in this list.
Hindsight is 20/20.
I'll take that bet...
bruh you taking things too seriously

I'll be a witness to this bet :)
No brain - no pain.
Goddammit Trump! These are in strong contention for the best cards ever printed.
Release the Kraken!
Are you replying in these threads for the same reason? No, just me? OK, one star.
Actually yes. That is the reason why I was asking the question...

Are these real predictions? Set reviews are hard, but these cards (except CC) we’re obviously very strong. Talk about zero credibility.
