Every time, at turn 4 and guess what is coming? BARNES and summon 1/1 Y'shaarj. Turn five, 2*resurrect and 20/20 body plus another big minion Ragnaros or Lich King. So this is a pro play and requires a lot of brain :D
What is the difference between old Naga Sea Witch and this brainless play ?
Blizzard need to balance this design for the sake of wild players which want to play midrange or control decks.
What is your opinion for possible nerfs or changes ?
My opinion: They can lower the appearance of Barnes for the early turns at hand.
TheLonelyy -> tbh they should make barnes summon a 1/1 copy of a minion that costs (5) or less
RavenSunHP -> Barnes at (6) would probably fix the deck, reducing its wr and its meta presence.
_barat_ -> IMO resurrect should work that it it resurrects a minion with health which was a base ("white") health when this minion died (or 1st time appeared on the board)
TimmusGG -> Change his battlecry to “Summon a 1/1 copy of a random minion in your HAND”.
Bryton1 -> Instead of actually summoning that minion, he should summon a 1/1 copy of it in the form of an actor(flavourwise and balancewise)
batterystaple -> I think a lot would be solved if 1/1 and 5/5 copies would be transforms rather than enchantments, so that when resurrected they would still be 1/1 or 5/5 respectively. In addition to being more fair, it would also be more intuitive.
While I do agree that Barnes is very poor card design, I can honestly be patient considering that, at least at the higher ranks, there aren't that many Big Priests. At least that's the case for the EU.
Personally the only way I would change Barnes would be with how the resurrection mechanic is coded. Essentially, not the card itself.
However, I guess the more linear and effective way would be to bump him up to 5 mana.

At higher ranks no big priest? What game are you playing there are enoght big priest at legend in EU or are you talking about rank 25?
Re-read my comment. I didn't say no big priests. I said very few. I am not fragile enough to get triggered over facing the the deck a few times and even more so I actually win most of those games anyway.
Not that it's any of your business but I am currently rank 4 and last night out of the 8 priest players that i faced only 3 were big priests. rest were a mix of Inner Fire and Dragon.
So from your comment I can either assume that you got unlucky and faced the same guy multiple times in a row (which doesn't count as separate instances) or you are just using Hyperbole to accomplish next to nothing since it is incredibly transparent to anyone that actually plays wild.

A dangerous but probably healthy overhaul on Resurrection mechanics (a x/y copy retains x/y stats upon resurrection, not full stats) could probably fix the issue for the time being.

This way any Barnes creature will be resurrected as 1/1, and Shadow Essence ones will be 5/5.

What? Whole Wild Meta is dominated by those, even in EU. Define higher ranks. 10-5 is not high.
Big Priest is a highroll deck that already has a counter: itself. Why nerf an auto-win deck when it has an auto-lose by default? We have Hex, Ploymorph, Sap. Tinkmaster, Potion of Madness, use them. Oh you didn't draw them on time? Say politely GG and move on. It's that simple.
I don't play big priest but I would think aggro or even shaman would eat it for lunch. What are the worst matchups for big priest?
I hate big priest as a Renolock player, but I will admit my most favorite wins are when I beat that stupid deck. Mainly because for me to beat it I generally have to go through the entire priest deck, so you can imagine those games. Most skill-involving games on my end.

what do you think a control deck is man? big priest is a control deck with win conditions. control decks aren't just "kill everything the opponent plays and hope he dies to fatigue". No sir, control decks are decks that control the board until they can play a win condition, and "hope fatigue kills opponent" isn't the only win condition that should exist, in fact control was completely unviable before blizzard decided to print actual win conditions.
The deck is fine. It has strengths and weaknesses as any other deck does. It might become too good in future if it gets more support but for now its fine.
Either nerf it to 5 mana, or leave it alone. You will cry for nerf of another card after that anyway. It is at bottom Tier 1 at best and there are far stronger decks.

Every deck has weakness but big priest has no weakness. Let me tell you the game that I tried to counter big priest. I used 2*entomb and 2*mind control and even shadow visions against big priest and I lost the game with that cards. What do you think about "specially designed big priest counter" can not counter big priest, is this normal?

List of cards that might get nerf :
Barnes
Resurrect
Shadow Essence
Eternal Servitude
Lesser Diamond Spellstone
Possible Nerf Opinions :

I think nerfing Barnes is enough tbh, that card has been a problem since it came out

Barnes is broken, this card should never exist

At rank 10 and higher ranks, there is so many big priest player that I can not count :D

I will also add creative ideas to top comment
