Agree, and to answer why would/should blizzard do this...because it gives new players an easy entrance into this game that is extremely punishing to new players. These decks are barely ladder viable but they are far and away better than the crap a brand new player can make with basic cards and the hand full of free packs new players get. I don't need it but every new account should have this card
That's literally the way games work, you start playing, you suck and you get your ass kicked, you keep playing more and get better and better and you start to get your ass kicked less and less an so on and so forth, people cry so much now days and there had never been a better time to be F2P and new, blizzard has given out so much free stuff on the last 1.5 years.
Also what do you mean about barely ladder viable? Have you seen those decks at all? There are a bunch of powerful ones almost every single class has like 1 deck that's like a budget version of a solid meta deck (And by budget I mean like 2000 dust short at most, they have all the core legendaries and most epics), there are some that are insane even, look at the spell hunter one, it's literally card by card a spell hunter net deck, and there are a bunch of other really strong ones, you can easily climb to rank 10 with this legendary and for sure to 5 with good RNG to get solid decks, pretty sure a good player can get to 5 playing this without too much sweat.
It seems like the perfect card to offer as a freebie to new players. I'm still of the belief that they designed it to be exactly that. Probably not right away but maybe before it rotates it'll be part of the rather paltry tutorial completion achievement rewards. Evergreen with deck recipe support would be the best way to go.
It makes perfect sense. It's really only useful to new players, why make make them (and us) suffer for it. I don't want any of those awful deck recipes, so I don't want it take the place of a useful legendary.
Yeah I think they should have given it with some sort of event thing. Like how they gave Marin the Fox away during Blizzcon. What makes this even more bizzare is that they said themselves that the idea for the card was so players who don't have a lot of dust could experience all the different decks and then decide to work towards crafting that deck that they found the most fun (or most likely the one they won the most with). Weird.

No, but they should do the recipe brawls more often.
I agree with this

They should, but they won't.
