I'm not a big crier normally - I just suck it up and play my favourite game. But I just find it ridiculous, that from last Thursday till today - whole week - I get nothing but 100 gold quests (that are actually 50g). I really try not to complete those even in non double the gold environment, but in this Festival you feel it literalit twice as hard. I've been carrying on 3 quests every day, completing one only not to get full. So it's now been 7 new quests + 7 rerolls + 2dragging from days earlier = I rolled 16 lowest quests in row.
How unlucky is this? Also, my 2 friends experience almost the same stories - 100g day after day.
It does seem like during this event I have gotten way more 50 gold quests than for the past months preceeding the festival. I'm not putting the tinfoil hat on by any means, but it would seem feasible that the higher paying quests could be manipulated to not proc as often due to that making it less likely as many players would buy packs before Boomsday. Though, like I said, just an idle thought honestly.
And Inb4 posters call me ungrateful for getting more gold, I'm not. I love that 50 gold quests reward me with double the gold, as well as for giving me double gold for the 100g & 80 gold quests I purposefully saved. It is just it is interesting that the 60 gold category quests have almost never procced for me even with rerolls when it happened multiple times just the week before. *Shrugs*
It just means that the big quests are going to be refreshed soon. I too had a string of 50 gold quests leading up to the event but when it actually hit, I was thrown 120 gold for the past few days and counting so don’t lose hope :)
Sure, I'm not really complaining about the gold amount - I'm talking about Hearthstone's favourite topic - rng and lowrolls. 100g - basically a pack - for a quest still feels really good.
I was about to put the tinfoil hat on, because I read on another post some people living the same thing in the days leading to the event and I've hit 120g quest only once since the event started, although I had saved two (50g) for when it was launching.
I'm glad to see some people do not have a problem with it. Still, I feel like the probabilities have been altered. I'm not used to juggle with three quests for that long, sometimes it gets to 3 or 4 days, but now, it's been over a week. It's a bit annoying to be avoiding certain decks, I'm about to just do them anyways
Since the beginning of the event I've only had 1 quest worth 120 gold. All the others were 100 rerolled into 100.
This is sadly very typical for Blizzard. The fact, that we know NOTHING about the engine of many random drops in the game makes them claim stuff is available, but the actual frequencies are pretty dreadful.
I experienced the same thing. Re-rolled every day, just one 120g quest, all the others were 100g. But since the 80g-trading thread seems to be as frequented as usual, I guess it is just a few unlucky ones gathering here, nothing fishy going on behind the scenes.
Also, as someone else already mentioned, even if the probabilities for the lower gold quests were raised during the event, I don't see a reason to complain. Effectively one free pack per day is still pretty nice.

Good thing about having 3 bad quests, you can reroll the one that is in your way - the deck you plan on playing.
But this thread really gave more same results, than I expected. Shame on Blizzard
I got one quest that was not 100 gold in this entire 2 weeks. I had the same thing happen last year during double gold festival where i only got 3 quests that weren't 40 gold (aka 80) and that is also very unlikely considering there were 3 main types last year (40, 50, and 60). I'm definitely putting my tin foil hat on. I didn't last year because I thought I just got unlucky. But this happening again this year is ridiculous. Something is definitely going on.
I think during this whole event I managed to get two 120g quests and that was with re-rolling the 100g quests I kept getting daily, would have loved a 200g quest just once but it is what it is and i'll take all the extra gold, all goes towards packs for boomsday anyway.

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
Not counting saved quests from before the event, I've gotten several 60/120g quests, one 80/160g quest and one 100/200g quest. Less than half of my quests in the 2 week event have been 50/100g quests. NOTHING is going on, this is a clear case of confirmation bias. Remember, the vast majority of quests awards 50/100g. Sometimes you're lucky, other times not.

I had same experience, only past two days started getting better quests.
Top deck is cheat

I have had a similar experience. I re-roll every day. So far I got 2 quests that were 120 gold after re-roll, otherwise, all the quests were 100 gold.

I seem to have normal quests. Some 50, some 60 gold among it. Even got the friendquest, which I haven't seen in 6 weeks.
I started off saving a 80g quest and since the start I've rerolled all my 100g (50g) quests and I've only been lucky enough to get 1 that was moar
Never lucky lol

Auto squelch. That's all I'm asking for.
I got 1 quest that was not 100g! Feels like winning. 120gold only tho

I feel you man, I posted just yesterday in the salt thread about exactly this. xD

the only 200 gold quest that i did, was because i already had it before the event and i kept it until the festival started xD haha
Same here. It's clear Blizzard pulled the strings for it to happen.
