So today i had a game in which my opponent (shaman), played a Shudderwock deck (shocking, i know). He played Grumble, Worldshaker and then i entombed it so that i could use it later on. Then by some huge luck i got Shudderwock from my Sneed's Old Shredder and i thought jackpot because i could use my Amara, Warden of Hope health upgrade quite some times. However, after i played Grumble, Worldshaker, he played his Shudderwock and it played the Grumble, Worldshaker twice. Once at the very start (so i thought i had won because he couldn't bounce his Shudderwock back) and then at the very end it played it again... Is this how shudderwock works? If my opponent uses a battlecry card and i use the exact same, shudderwock repeats that battlecry twice?
Because of the wording of Shudderwock... Repeating battlecries from cards you've played this game. It does kinda almost sound like, since he played Grumble, when you play that battlecry later, you are technically playing a battlecry on a card that he has played haha.
Very interesting, and frustrating to be on the receiving end of that. Hard to say if that works as intended or not.

Did he perhaps use a murmuring elemental with his Grumble and/or Wock?
he used both Grumble and Wock on an empty board, but i believe that if u use a murmuring elementel to summon lets say two jade golems, shudderwock will only play one (though i might be wrong about this)

Murmuring activates the pool of Battlecries twice, so it would play twice. If your opponent played Murmuring before Shudderwock, this mechanism worked accurately.
Yes if he plays it before shudderwock, shudderwock would cast all battlecries twice. But i tested it versus the innkeeper, murmering elemental casts your second battlecry twice, but shudderwock will only cast that battlecry once
