I don't know about you guys but I am thoroughly enjoying this meta. There is so much deck diversity at almost all levels of play (granted I am a rank 7 player) including legend. I was watching dog's steam today and saw he was changing up his decklists and winning. Also a lot of my friends are loving lower ranks because instead of just people playing the meta decks there is a lot of experimenting and crazy decks (they said there was even a mill rogue with Kidnapper I hope through this next expansion we can continue to have this type of diversity. Maybe I have gone insane thinking blizzard has done a good job. Let me know about your ranks and the meta diversity there!
I think what is happening is many of the scrubby 1 deck players have left Hearthstone for greener pastures, whilst more of the inventive, creative homebrew players have stuck around. My personal opinion is this expansion was designed in a way to shake off the players that spam 1 broken deck that make metas stale and it may have worked.
Not really. Play around giving them easy water eles and only play a couple of big to medium sized threats on the board at a time to force them to use board clears inefficiently. Also, avoid drawing a ton during the match-up so you aren't behind in fatigue.
Players who don't do this end up losing, salty, and confused about why they lost (choosing to blame the DK instead).

Yea, but just gets boring seeing so many of them playing the same deck.
I'm not saying it's hard to win against, just polluting the standard meta.

Fair enough. Although, couldn't you say that rogue, pally, and druid (especially with its multiple combo decks) are also doing the same thing?
As with every other meta I've experienced (joined in early KOFT), the meta is usually pretty fun except for one stupid, boring control/combo chock full of removals. (Razakus Priest, Cubelock, Shudderwock Shaman). I actually really like the meta other than that.
I'm loving this meta. Every class has at least one viable deck, and most have more than one. Sure, some decks are more popular than others, but they're all represented right now.
I agree, it's pretty awesome right now. Of course there are some decks that are really annoying and I do think that there shouldn't be matchups that are pretty auto-concede but that's always been the case and I don't think it is possible or even desirable to change that. There are tons of decks being played especially at the rank 5 floor and (I feel) in legend. There's significantly less variety and pretty much zero innovation (although I just came up against an odd rogue using spiteful smith! if you can call that innovative, I kinda do) in the tryhard zone but it's still pretty cool how you're never quite sure which of several options an opponent might be.
Looking at my last 80 games between ranks 3 and 1: 10 druids / 13 hunters / 10 mages / 3 palas / 1 priest / 6 rogues / 15 shamans (-.-) / 21 warlocks / 1 warrior
So as you can see there are some decks that are prominent in the zeitgeist and some entire classes that are all but forgotten about when it comes to climbing. That's just my experience in the last few days though.
It seems like the general consensus is the meta is pretty healthy other than shaman. Glad to hear and thanks for the feedback~! I am looking forward to the next expansion I just hope they dont fuck it up with some insane high power cards! I am a little nervous for these legendary spells. I am also personally crossing my fingers for some good priest cards!
The meta is health BUT Cube lock is still one of the best control decks (way better than evenlock)... The problem is that it generates to much value with Carnivorous Cube. The same for Taunt Druid, they cut out other control decks (except BSM because of polymorphs). The options are 2: giving every class a Polymorph/Hex card (and don t nerf it like they ve done with Tinkmaster Overspark, because now is just a meme card) or nerf/change Cube. Cubelock has been one of the best decks since KnC meta.

Shudderwock shaman can be hopeless to play against. Similarly big spell mage can feel hopeless if you're playing another control deck haha (since big spell mage is the greediest control deck of them all, it's tough to stand up to it with a standard control).
Other than the couple day span where 50% of my matches were against warlock (no joke, the birth of the "heal zoolock" haha, with some evenlocks mixed in), it has been "diverse", as they say.
My main problem is I can't find a deck I have fun with yet haha. In the past there's always been a deck I could have a lot of fun with for a long period of time, but I'm just having trouble finding that right now. Hoping something interesting will come up in the next expansion.

Eh, I agree that is a strong deck for priest but I think Priest's Velen's OTK is performing pretty well and so is the standard dragon mind blast priest. they hover at about 50% win rate.

I was struggling for a while to find some good decks that were fun to play then I found Velen OTK. Really enjoying the deck but it isn't for everyone. Good luck!

I think both those archetypes are kind of boring and I don't like that Priest is OTK or nothing right now.
I'd like to see control/quest get some support. Or hell, why not actually allow for Odd Priest to be viable? They'd better not print us a single crappy card and then lock it away like it never happened.

Brace yourselves for angry people hating on Shudderwock, taunt Druid and odd paladin
Jaina Mage is worse.

I really like this meta. Except for Shudderfuck shaman. That deck is aids.

Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP

I have seen quite a good variety of decks. still the same decks get tiring. Jaina Mage, Odd rogue, recruit Hunter, Heal Warlock, Oakheart druid.

Meta is decent (yeah, I said it), but I'm sad that Priest doesn't see play outside of clunky Divine Spirit/Inner Fire shenanigans.
