What are you talking about? The meta is more balanced right now than I have ever seen it. Looking at the rank 5 or higher meta you have the top deck at 52,92% down to the 21st deck at 48,34%. That's pretty much an average of 50,5% ±2%. I can't imagine how a meta could be more balanced. Every single class even has a deck in that bracket.
Cards are designed over a year before they are released so there is no way for them to know what the current meta is going to look like so given that their balance changes has managed to keep the meta this balanced is a good sign that the system is working.
it isbalanced right now, but the next expansion releases a bunch of druid cards that just break the current druid decks.
the new druid legendary *facepalm* they will just nerf noutish or UI...
my point is that they break balanced cards with new cadds and then nerf the old cards.. not that druid doesn't have too many op cards atm....
Are there still people in 2018 who think all cards should be equally good?
The whole point of card games is to have change and to have some things be better than others. Sometimes a class will be strong, sometimes it will be weak. It will switch up at some point.
Juat enjoy the game <3 Enjoy Year of the Raven everyone!
Personally I am fine with the druid card, I think people are overhyping it because "Zomg UI!".
What I have an issue with is that the way that new cards are given to classes & the reason for doing so is completely inconsistent to me.
Sure, some classes will be strong or weak, but why does T5 have no qualms with giving a class like warlock Godfrey when they still have Defile & Nether, but then people scream that rogue would be too powerful if they got a legendary that wasn't a niche meme (due to having backstab, eviscerate, & sap)?
I crafted the card and I barely use it. It's good in control decks I guess, but as the two popular warlock archetypes right now either are restricted to even cards only, or are aggro based and don;t go that high on the curve (or pack any removal) I don't see how the card is broken.
Maybe if we get a ton of control or handlock support this expansion I can see it becoming very good. but still it's not really broken, it's just like a defile with +1 spell power and leaves a minion on board... Yeah I agree with the right support it could be broken, but control lock is barely played on ladder right now, I never see them.
2 of these in your hand turn 1 with the coin , along with 2 wild growths. youd have 8 mana turn 2. throw in 2 inervates on turn 2 and you can play UI.
Let the games begin.
Blizzard should consider rarity when making cards, that's all I have to say in this case.
What does rarity has to do with power of cards? except that taunt druid costs a lot of dust..

Is Lord Godfrey even broken?
