Saying you *could* get a golden legendary in the 50 packs is kind of stupid really. I mean you *could* find a hundred dollars lying on the sidewalk, so saying the bundle’s too expensive is ridiculous.
Oh and lets not forget to mention buying the Mega Bundle actively locks you out of your collection for Mobile users. So theres that particular hunk of info no one bothered to mention.
Aparently the issue is exclusive to the Iphone 6 and some Ipads, but its still not something i feel should be overlooked for such a high price. Blizz support told me they were working on it, but i still feel slighted and to be perfectly honest, like a complete idiot. I know mobile users are typically mocked by the community at large, but i still think thier voice should be considered. (i do games on both platforms personally)
They’re gonna milk this game as much as possible until Artifact and Gwent 1.0 comes out aren’t they? It was bad enough that they were charging $50 to preorder loot boxes, but now there’s a second preorder option, the Mega Bundle.
For those who don’t know, the regular preorder bundle is $50, and comes with 50 cardpacks, the Mecha-Jaraxxus cardback, and a free golden legendary card.
Now the Mega Bundle on the other hand is $80! What do you get for 80? You still get the cardback and golden legendary, but instead of 50 cardpacks you get 80, as well as an alternate Warlock hero portrait: Mecha-Jaraxxus.
That’s it. That’s all you get. For $30 more dollars you get a few more glorified loot boxes and a skin. $80 for a hero portrait, and it’s one that the majority of people will want too. This is beyond ridiculous. For two years they have been offering hero portraits for free where we had to do something to get them, like play WoW, or go to a Fireside Gathering, or beat Frozen Throne. They were all great. But now, they’ve locked a skin of a very popular character behind a $80 preorder paywall, that once the expansion launches you can’t get it anymore. They also said there are no plans to rerelease Mecha-Jaraxxus, so anyone who wanted to get that skin are out of luck.
Ejem ejem, excuse me, magni, mediv and alleria are for real money since game launch so dont cry if u want jaraxxus then pay if not just shut up.

You didn't even bother to read the rest of my post. I mentioned later how the first three were paid, people didn't like that and didn't buy them, which is why we got free portraits instead.
TL;DR Blizzard is very generous imho. Just spend some money!
People are so cheap. Just spend some money on a game you love, or don’t complain. This mega bundle is just a mega sweet deal if you compare it to the regular packs/bundles. Just do the math.
Never forget that this game is F2P. If no one would buy anything, then this game could not exist. Remember guys, it takes a lot of money to develop the game and sustain the servers. There are so many players that don’t spend any money on the game (and still complain!?), which is probably why prices are what they are. If there wouldn’t be so many cheap people and more people would spend money then maybe the prices could be lower.
This is infuriating! They are selling a product people want, for MONEY! Greedy dirty money! And they have the nerve of adding a few attractive bonuses to make it even more appealing! The nerve they have!!!111 I'm afraid someone will actually be tempted to buy this!
Well, first of all, no one forces you to buy anything so I don't really see the point in putting so much energy in complaining... (Actually I don't see the point in putting any energy in complaining). You would be much better served in putting that time working in order to earn those 80 bucks you seem so frustrated to give away... Actually you know what? I will no waste my time either on a poor little kid like you... I bought both bundles by the way and im sure i will be quite happy with them (and i'm not even liking the jarax skin...). If you are not happy yourself well stick your head out of your **** or find some old ladies to speak about your problems. Cheers!

So much arrogance in one post.I have met quite a lot of people like you in my life, all of them are now either homeless or dead. No, i am not exaggerating. If you think something as fragile as the economic status can give you the right to judge someone then my sweet summerchild, you have not experienced life at all. As Sun Tzu said: Nothing can be more detrimental in war, than not knowing your own weakness.

They got me too.. for my dirty money, but all I will say is: ERROR ERROR!
Well... Activision-Blizzard are a company whose main purpose is making money. Not making you happy, but making more money. If they are making more money in anyway and are not getting lawsuits, then they haven't gone too far. Or at least that is what they would think. There are literally people who buy it for swag and you can't do much about it, yes it is stupid but you won't be able to change it by complaining, in fact you won't be able to change it. Loot boxes seem like a ripoff to you? Well too bad ripoff that people are willing to pay for is the best kind of business for such companies...
P.S. if they want to make anyone happy it would be whales like Kripparian who spend thousands of dollars on packs every expansion... And definitely f2p players are in category "just make sure they don't complain too much, and maybe find a way to get their money somehow..."...
Oh boy. I don't often chime in on these things but I feel the need to on this one. Although I'm not outraged about this little marketing package I do think it's ridiculous. $80 is just too steep of a price to be paying for an electronic card game. The price point is just too high and I feel that it is a barrier to entry for new players. I feel that the skin, although I want it, is being used as bait for people to spend a butt load of money. If they are that in need of an income stream, I would rather pay a subscription and get rid of the F2play crowd. I realize that is an unpopular idea, but really, F2P doesn't result in any income or improvement to the game so who cares? So...my vote is to institute a small subscription fee and keep those price points for new expansions down. Flame away, F2P.

While i agree having a subcription in exchange for a full card set every expansion would be the best way to do things, i don't really agree with your assment of FTP players not helping the game in the current state. FTP players are actually a large portion of the current player base, and therefore, they help make sure you have evenly matched opponents with low match wait times. In a multiplayer game with long match times (this verys from meta to meta obviously) having alot of players is the best way to ensure no one has to wait forever to get into a match. While they dont provide direct monatary support, they make sure the Wales/Dolphins thag spend money to get complete or near complete collections have a positive expierence.
TL/DR:
Your idea of buying a whole expansion via one purchase is neat, but in the current game build FTP players make sure Spenders have a positive matchmaking experience.
You know what? Those are excellent and well stated points. I agree. Thank you. There has got to be a better solution than what they've got going. Hopefully, this won't increase their revenue in the way they expect and they will have to go back to the drawing board.
I don't see a problem with it AT ALL !!! In fact, I bought BOTH BUNDLES because it was such a good deal for the packs. Why should anyone care about what is offered for sale?? Either you have the money, and are willing to spend it on a game you enjoy playing, or you take your money else where. That is your choice, don't complain about it. As far as F2P goes, you have to decide what you want outta HS and what your willing to do to get it. I have stated before that money does not win this game, I know, I have spent $1000's on this game(since closed beta) in packs and cosmetics, and still can't compete at the same level as some of my F2P friends who reach legend rank whenever they seem to feel like it. How can more buying options be a bad thing???

The reason mecha-jaraxxus is exclusive is because they are offering something exclusive to the dedicated players who are willing to spend $80 on the game. You can't be salty because not everything is free... All throughout your life you will come across things that companies offer to those who are willing to pay the premium and that is completely fair. 80 packs at a dollar a pack is a ridiculously good deal especially because you get a free golden legend that you can dust if its trash and if you get one that gets nerfed you get 3200 dust back along with the card back and the super cool hero is worth way more than $80... Considering each hearthstone pack is around $1.50 USD and the hero is $9.99 USD like the other three (medivh, alleria, and magni) and best case scenario the card back is thrown in free, that puts this whole package at $130 usd WITHOUT considering that mecha-jaraxxus should be worth more as it is exclusive to preorders for the time being. You're saving $50 so don't complain.

Mecha- Jaraxxus is overrated anyway, Nemsy is better, but I don't have Nemsy, and something is better than nothing.
