Hi Guys, I don't play wild and I was wondering is it a standard practice to dust cards from expansions that will be entering the the wild pile so you don't get knocked by the 50% dust reduction?
If so, when is the best time to do this (Does Blizzard apply the dust reduction to the cards prior to the expansion coming out?).. i.e Could I do it 2 or 3 days before the expansion drops or do I need to do it X weeks prior?
What dust reduction? You always get the same unless a card is nerfed, and in that case you get full refund. Hof inductees give you dust without having to disenchant them (but no dusting bonus.)
Many players have regretted dusting Wild cards, so I would advice against doing it too much! You might get bored of standard or need a card for an adventure or tavern brawl...
I second the warning about dusting Wild cards: eventually, you will turn to Wild mode.
If anything because you won't be willing to abandon cards or decks you particularly enjoyed.
Moreover, once you have settled, Wild is cheaper than Standard, because you can always use your old cards, and only replace what got actually improved.
If you think you can put enough resources, gold and cash, to stay constantly up-to-date in Standard, then again you should not need need dust anyway.
PS: disenchanting a card ALWAYS gets you 1/4 of its crafting value, no matter the set.
dust the trash, keep whatever is actually seeing play or something you think you may use for a deck. Wild has a huge card pool but a lot of it seems to be wasted space unfortunately

Sorry for the noob question.
What do you mean by dust reduction?
I play standard and do not dust wild cards. There is tavern brawl and maybe I will some day switch to Wild.

best time to dust cards is when you need to craft something, or the card got nerfed, I avoid disenchanting ANY card that isn't a duplicate.
