I never get friend requests from people I played with, only from people here in the HSpwn forums. I'm usually the person to be sending a request to others after a game, whether I win or lose, if I liked their deck/skills and overall match. It's sad 90% of those times people don't friend you back (probably expecting salt and insult) when I honestly just wanted to praise them. Is toxicity in HS really that bad? Everyone I came across seemed cool. There was the occasional smug, spam-emoter player that shuts up when they are losing to you (best people) but nothing that would call for a ToS report.
I used to add people after games to talk about decks and stuff. blizz made the process deliberately convoluted now though to cut back on the rage-adding I think. I can't seem to work out how to add people after games.
There's a "recently played" if you go to "add friends". You can only do your very most recent.
thanks. I will have a look for this when I next log in.
This has only happened to me once, I was playing overload shaman, and my opponent was playing reno/ quest priest, and I remember he had played about 4 health reset cards. And like 3-4 AOEs, and I still one through big creatures, persistance, and a lot of burst. And after he only said "I will find you and pluck your eyes out you friken cheater" and then he influenced me. I was mad at the time because I had a hard right and he had played a lot of heals and it was a good, interactive game, and if anything he was the one "cheating" having playing so many aoes and heals. But know if is just sad.
I can be salty sometimes, but I am usually try to be friendly aggressive. The other day played against Toggwaggle Druid, man, I left him at 1 HP !!! but then he stabilised through Poison Seeds and Spreading Plague , I wasn't salty because the game was good overall, I added him and said gg, he turned out to be a good guy as well. We are friends now.
Yesterday played Reno Control Priest meme deck against Mill Nzoth Rogue, ohh it was fun, tens of minions dying, around 10 Nzoths played from both sides, Benedictus, Benedictus ohh it was fun, I won anyway due to Shadowreaper Anduin but we friended and he said gg, it was fun game.
I nearly just did this for the first time ever. Rank 22 and my spell Hunter was beaten by murloc Mage of all things and I literally had the worst possible rng it was possible to get and he just played around every turn like i was some day one n00b and he was Kibler. It was fucking sickening for me I hate whoever what was so much based on nothing else. Temporarily of course but that was some salt producing shit right there.

nothing like when they go so primeval that they drop english and just start churning out whatever native language they got. that has to be like my favorite, something in them snaps so badly that they don't even care to be understood anymore. for all intents and purposes, they might as well be grunting like little piggies and rolling on the floor in frustration.
I'm sure you meant to harm me with your storm of foreign words, but it just ain't really registering with me, buddy.

''He traded sands for skins, skins for gold, gold for life. In the end, he traded life for sand.''
Unfortunatelt, people do not seem to accept my friend requests anymore, probably fearing I am salty. I usually just want to have a chat about the game... alternative lines, a missed lethal, rng, the matchup, draws, meeting the same guy many times etc.
I think we should all accept friend requests, and put on the deflector hat for the occational saltbombs.
The thing is 95% of the time if that happens to you it’s because you’re playing a tier-1 deck in casual or low ladder ranks. Only very rarely does it happen that someone rages at some original yet lucky top decking player. So, I’d deem kind of fair, before expressing all this moral high ground, declaring which deck and in what environment you were playing at the time. And then someone can come to a conclusion over who was was the most childish douchebag of the two. Don’t you think?
This is not even close to the case. Last time I accepted a friend request and turned out to be a rager was after gadgetzan release. I was playing a handbuff paladin in wild, which we all know, out of the 3 new mechanics, was by far the worst. I mean that time, paladin was literally shit. So not even close to anything tier 1, and I got the rage request anyway. First time I got it, it was in arena.
Someone keeps playing tier 1 decks in causal or low ranks (wants to advance to higher ranks lol) is considered a douche although just playing the game how he enjoys it. Adding someone to rage your own frustration with yourself to other ppl, that’s I call a douche thing.
I Never did it like most of liars here. I usually add somebody only to praise his perfect draws and tell him how good he was by hitting my face every 7 turns and preventing me to draw any counters.
I'm not judging you but if you play burnmage, piratewarrior or something very cancerous in CASUAL then i must say - those people are the worst king of trash. I did it numerous time. I want ed to play my palaquest and i had oddpaladin 7 times in a row after that 2 burnmage and a cotrollock. I just can't understand why people play the worst of the worst in casual when there is so much more to do then just netdecking - i understand it in ranked but casual is something different

It´s even funnier if that language happens to me your native language aswell. LUL Hasn´t happened to me on HS yet though.
I always accept friends request, if they happen to me rage request I just laugh it off and see it as a compliment. :D
So I’m guessing most people have, on occasion at least, won a game and received a friend request. That friend request is from a very poor loser who hurls profanity and racial slurs at you and then unfriends you. First off let me just say this is my favorite thing ever. When I see that friend request I can’t accept fast enough. I try to respond with all of my trolling powers before they unfriend me, and I will then friend request them repeatedly. I’m making this post because I really am just wondering what is going on in these peoples brains. Are you really that angry about losing? Do you do this after every loss? How old are you? What do you do for a living? Any other insights are appreciated as well.
The safe way to handle this: - check the Friend Requests in the left menu - write down the battletag of your recent opponent - delete the friend request - wait some time - send a Friend Request to the requester

The only time I ever added someone "saltily" was when I had lethal on the board and his 2 Arcane Missiles dealt 6 damage to face and killed me off. I didn't abuse him though, just congratulated him on his ridiculous luck. He admitted he got lucky though and that was that.
Never seen the point in abusing anyone though. At the end of the day it's just a game.
After a match, I will send a friend request. If the person responds and says something nice like GG or well played or thanks etc, I’ll happily chat to them.
If they choose to be a d**k and start straight off with insults (even tho they won, which is comedy gold), I now proceed to write messages and omit some of the words by just writing random symbols.
For example: “Good job with the *{^{*+* deck you %]*%] there. I *^+% you could *[%{+ ** the deck +*]^”!
Translated: Good job with the awesome deck you made there. i wish you could send me the deck list!

That is most nicest evil thing I've read on this forum.
Looking at your post I guess you are that kind of guy who loves to BM after every highroll then you gladly accept friend requests knowing your opponents are salty just to mock them some more because you were lucky and they not. But why are you posting bs like this on forum? If you don't want this then stop accepting friend requests from strangers, simple as that.
I accept such friend requests after a few hours have gone by. At that point they’ve forgotten who I am but it grows our pool of people for 80g quests, Watch And Learn, etc.

Shudderwock means driving a clown car in circles around your opponent while he swings his sword at you. Half the time he chops you and your car to pieces. The other half you park on his legs and 40 clowns come out one by one, trampling him to death.
"Let them vent"? What the hell are you people even talking about? Why don't you internet psychologists advice something along the line of taking this anger out on their family instead? No? That's because no one should be subject to harrasment just because of YOUR personal anger issues. It can be "funni lol", but it is literally the reason why most of us don't accept friend requests. If the Internet card game tilts you that much, maybe consider not playing it and enjoying stress-free life?
I've been salty as fuck after some games in HS, that's just how this game is. That being said, I have never even considered adding someone to flame them (even the emote spamming/BMing cunts) and lower myself to their level. Trying to justify this with "let them vent" is just borderline bullshit.

You can message someone in offline mode. They just have to be smart which most people aren't.
