Hey all, I have been playing HS since about LOE, and I have never hit legend. I will have a lot more time on my hands next month (July), and I want to try to get there. I've been close on multiple occasions, but I've never actually hit it. Here are my general questions:
1) Wild or Standard? I actually don't know what format is easier/more enjoyable?
2) What deck? Being F2P, I don't have tons of expensive decks to work with. Decks I have in standard: Token Druid, Aggro Mage, and Spiteful Priest. Wild decks: Maly Druid, Maly Shaman, Pirate Warrior (sorry), Control Warrior, Aggro Mage, and Mill Rogue(Kingsbane and oracle's).
Play fast aggro deck until you reach rank 10. Then, try several deck that you like, trying to counter the meta. Example: Spiteful priest is a lot weaker than it was before rotation... But using Cabal "voidlord stealer", acolyte, duskbreaker and other cool cards like glimmerooth, maybe yes you could reach legend... Only if you are a good player, who know how to counter other deck and how they work. Mind control on voidlord. Duskbreaker vs a board full of silver hand etc...
I'm trying reaching legend from now to 30, using a mine versione of even warlock
It's pretty difficult now, as we've finally got quite a diverse meta, which means you don't have stable and reliable decks to ladder with. Plus, decks are expensive AF these days :C
I'd go for standard, but that's 'cause I don't play wild at all. That Token Druid and Aggro Mage SHOULD let you ladder high enough, maybe to legend, as Token Druid is rated the top tier 1 deck atm, that is unless you're facing control-heavy local meta. Then you just switch over to Aggro Mage and try your best.

Thanks for all responses! I really appreciate it.
