I ran the darkness in kingsbane pre coldlight HoF. He was hard to get with 3 cards, when Valeera hp made 2 darknesses with 6 cards in the deck and you only needed to draw 3 for both of them, it won me a few games out of nowhere.
I'm one of the few who crafted The Voraxx for Quest paly when Un'goro first came out. I mean it isn't great, but i would be lying if I said the card never worked
I crafted Lakkari Sacrifice, because i really thought Discowarlock could be Great and i didn‘t want my clutchmother Zavas to be so lonely :P
As did I, worst craft ever. It was hyped so much, and I bought into the hype. It taught me a lesson I will never forget. Wait a few weeks for the meta to settle before crafting anything.
Right after Un'Goro was released I crafted Swamp King Dred (I liked the art and his unique effect) and Finja, the Flying Star (I wanted to play a murloc deck and thought he would be really good).
As is turns out, both of them aren't really good right now but I hope that Swampking Dred will get his time to shine because he has a lot of potential in my opinion.
At least I got the 3200 dust for free thanks to the Hall of Fame Rotation 2017 where I already owned Sylvanas Windrunner and Ragnaros the Firelord without having to craft them.
I have learned my lesson and only craft cards after the meta has settled a litle bit. Best example: I didn't immediately craft Shudderwock plus Grumble, Worldshaker after The Witchwood was released but waited. After about 2-3 weeks I crafted Baku the Mooneater to play Odd Paladin which was totally worth it.
Several decks ran Finja. He's hardly OP but definitely saw play.
I had high hopes for Sergeant Sally in a buff Pally deck or two... I knew she wasn't good when I crafted her. She turned out to be worse than I imagined.
I never actually thought, that they were competitive in any way. I just wanted to create fun moments with them and they felt like an amusing tech. However I have to admit, that I didn't play with them as much as I have planned.
Back in MSoG Cho'Gall was actually useful as a tempo enabler against all of those jade druids. He had nice synergies with the Kazakus potions as well, but sadly this was the only time I have ever used him. About Gromm - I don't want to offend any warrior players here, I'm NOT saying that Gromm is a terrible card to craft, but I was never a warrior player myself, I'm still missing a lot of class specific cards and I only played Gromm probably 2-3 times since I crafted him. This was back in KoFT right before the nerf to Fiery War Axe was introduced and Tempo Warrior seemed really interesting to me. Immediately after I crafted the deck, the devs decided to nerf the weapon and I never played Gromm on the ladder, so the dust is kinda wasted for me.
Imho she was kinda useful back in MSoG. I didn't craft her, but I got her from a pack. Immediately after that I used her in my control-ish Renolock and she worked really well against those annoying pirate warriors and aggro shamans in combination with Power Overwhelming. So imho this was the only real application for her, because the main issue was how to kill her ASAP and this spell fulfilled two different tasks - buffing & destroying.
Baku the Mooneater, easily. "but it's a good card, why you regret it?" I crafted by impulse. I don't have the Taunt Warrior kit, didn't had the Odd Pally kit (now I have but its so boring to play), and don't have the pair of Vilespine Slayers or Leeroy for Odd Rogue. Had I crafted Genn, I would be higher on the ranks today. Even after the nerfs (got it? huh? huh?).
He was decent when coldlight Oracle was in standard, but yeah after he left it sucks.
Archbishop Benedictus because he seems fun and now he's actually competitive so maybe not the worst

Archmage Arugal
I've used him in exactly 0 decks. If mage gets a strong minion tutor in the future, he could be good.

Cairne Bloodhoof. Its not garbage but i didnt play that much with it so it felt like wasted dust.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

I crafted Prince Keleseth by mistake when there was no Keleseth decks around. I was crying for my 1600 dust back then. Now I'm glad I crafted it.
Lorewalker Cho, Shifter Zerus
I never actually thought, that they were competitive in any way. I just wanted to create fun moments with them and they felt like an amusing tech. However I have to admit, that I didn't play with them as much as I have planned.
Cho'gall, Grommash Hellscream

Not to mention, that some Shudderwock lists run him for the same reason.
My crafted failure is Countess Ashmore.
Never used it once...
However I beleive she will be good next season... or at least I wish
Dollmaster Dorian. Although I'm hoping he'll be more useful in the future x)
no you didnt.

Harrison Jones was essential card in 2016 ('member mid shaman meta?) but after I never played him.
One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.

I hate bell pepper as much I hate OTK decks
