OK, so what exactly is a Hearthstone Pro, Semi-Pro, etc?
Here is how you play the game:
1) Obtain internet access.
2) Download game and sign up.
3) Visit this site, make a deck and rank up.
Anything else is easily explained in the game itself. What's the description again? "...the fast-paced strategy card game that's easy to learn and massively fun."
If anything, we can say the decks made by the 1% that 99% of players copy are the actual pros if there really is such a thing. Other than that, the YouTube/Twich generation wants to take hold of fame and spread it around so anyone with glasses, beard and a Marvel action figure can win 3 games online, give an opinion and they're pro.
Players toss "skill" around as if that is anywhere remotely applicable to a game like that. Let's see..Hunters vomit secrets, Rogue vomits minions, Paladins vomit recruits, Mages vomit spells, Warlocks vomit giants, warrior vomits taunts, Druid just vomits and Priest steals your shit all while operating with the gears of RNG.
Although enjoyable when not taken seriously, Hearthstone is not a test of skill beyond basic math. All the game has really been is a beta testing ground. Blizzard gives us cards, WE test them, then they get nerfed halfway through a meta which refreshes it a bit. Then comes an expansion. Rinse and repeat.
The only skill you need is not tilting to the point where you're punching monitors because RNG fucked your win streak.
Oh and pro means getting paid sponsored to compete in events hold by major esports companies. So yes there is such a thing as a HS pro and trust me the average Joe from rank 1 can play 10 games with a meme 40% wr deck and cant rank up while the do called hs pros xan pilote such bad decks with at least breaking even as long as they dont get matched up to direct counters too much but i guess thats the same for everyone.
There is a pretty clear group of people who are pros at this game. They are on teams. They are sponsored. They play this game and get paid because of it. There's no pretending they aren't what they say they are.

Just a question. Are you actually ASKING about how skill levels work here or are you just doing the old "Children's RNG Card Game " salt rant?
Because it honestly sounds like you just needed to vent. That's fine but we have a thread for that.
Marega asked, thus: https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/212005-group-therapy-need-to-blow-off-steam-mega-salty
One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Someone link the salt thread pls.
