Immune, in HS, seems to only means ''protected from physical damage'' (a minion attacking it, a poisonous effect, etc.) which doesn't covers ''Destroy a minion'' mechanic. I think it work as intented
"Immune is an ability that prevents characters from receiving any damage, and prevents the opponent from specifically targeting them with any type of action. However, it does not prevent destroy, restore Health, or other non-damaging effects on Immune characters, which can still be affected by randomly or automatically targeted effects, including area of effect."
I have had this before, while its strange at first you carefully read the card text for immunity, and it say that immune characters cant be "damaged" destroying something is not damaging it.
Yeah it's a pretty dumb mechanic that only comes up very very rarely. The only time I ever saw it was with Yogg' Saron, Hope's End giving me a beast, Beastial Wrath and then killing it with a spell. Really annoyed me lol. I really miss old yogg :(
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
Still seems like the incorrect terminology for the effect. Might as well just call it divine shield this turn.
And I thought I was making a next level play to get lethal. Mostly upset upset because I wasn't as smart as I thought I was.
Thanks guys for the responses.
I will now start a riot in protest.
Has nothing to do with smarts so no worries. You're plenty smart enough. The trick is in assuming that the term = the effect you expect.
This game is consistent. But it's NOT intuitive. For example, frozen creatures can still throw knives, fling fireballs, and do whatever other effects they normally do.
So thinking that immune = can't be killed' makes sense. It's just not how it works in the Rules.
Trying to keep track of all of the quirks is something professional players can't even do given how often I've seen major tournament games won due to a slip up of how a particular mechanic works.
Had an immune minion (done by deathspeaker) attack a mage with the vapourize secret. Minion died. This seems incorrect to me. Thoughts?
No, Immune means it cannot take damage, not that it cannot die
Immune means does not take damage this turn. Vaporize just destroys the minion dealing no damage.
Immune doesn't protect your minion from effects is what I'm trying to say.

Thanks for the definition.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Read the card again then come back.
Moving on
Read which card?
The implied effect of immune is the issue.
I guarantee 97% of hs players don't know how this interaction works. The thread was created to be informative
Thanks for your insightful contribution.
Man, there are some cranky assholes out there.
