The past month I've been getting just the standard 1 Rare 4 commons packs and it didnt used to be like that. Is anyone else just getting these basic packs? Or is it just me? Because it's getting really old spending 100 gold on some common cards and some dust.

 This. OR you are buying packs from different sets.  The timers are PER SET. So, even if you are rotating through sets and the timers are "aligned" you should get on a hot streak soon.

I'm having the opposite effect right now after having lackluster packs to start the expansion.  When you gamble eventually you lose.

In last 2-3 weeks i got 5 Legendaries and one Golden Leeroy.

Got a Dollmaster Dorian and Blackhowl Gunspire back to back from the tavern arena packs. Not great legendaries, but I've been having a blast experimenting with them.

Something similar happen to me with K&C expansion, the more terrible packs I open ever, like, only get some epics and legendarys in the limit of the pity timer. :(

It is only bad luck, sorry.

I've got many things to say here!

First, the 10-40 pity timer is for a single type of pack, so you could actually open 39 straight packs from different expansions and don't get a Legendary in any one. This may be veeeeeeery difficult to achieve... but someone with the baddest luck on earth...

Second, you can use the Pack Tracker to actually know how many packs you've opened without an epic/legendary.

Third, I'm on a 13 classic opened packs without a legendary, so this may be actually bad packs....

Not on my end atm. Recently got a double legendary pack with Baku & Face Collector, but I have been where you are now OP.

Every time someone asks "is the pack opening RNG rigged?", the answer is "no".

in my last 3 packs i got the beast, golden countess ashmore and a grommash hellscream so i cant complain

I dont know! Maybe I'm cursed. I just got the golden pack and it was 4 commons and a rare. Open 4 more packs, 4 commons and a rare. With Un'goro I couldnt go 3 packs without getting an epic. I dont know, but it is getting frustrating.

I was, but, last week there was a day that I've got a Golden The Beast, and a Golden Rhok'Delar, the day after I got The Glass Knight and Darius Crowley in a pack, and yesterday I got a Golden King Mukla, this happened after almost a month farming packs and only getting mostly rares/commons packs, your day/s of luck will come

In terms of rarities, I don't think anything's changed, but I have noticed that there seems to be less golden cards in packs lately since Witchwood.  Not sure if it's just bad luck or if any of the odds were changed.  All I know for sure is I've opened very, very few golden Witchwood cards.

Yea that's how it works man. It sucks for f2p players like myself, but that's the name of the game (luck and money). I try to open at least one pack a day and I'm currently on my 35th Witchwood pack with no legendary yet. I'm sure my day will come.

I was on a bad run of pack openings up until last week when I  opened 5 packs in a day and I got 3 Legendaries and 7 Epics.
