I think the odd/even thematic is OK. But, Upgraded hero powers from Justicar Trueheart have different impact in early, mid or late game. Team 5 should create new hero powers for early game instead.
I'm pretty sure Team 5 was well aware of that even before creating the card, considering it's pretty obvious.
As a control player, I really hate the mage quest - it is almost always an instant concede when I see it popping up. Generally cards that put you on a timer saddens me - that would include Shudderwock, but whenever I face it my opponent don't know what they are doing and I rarely face the deck anyway.
Some of the answers crack me up. Just because you hate the card does not mean it's poorly designed. Also there is a difference between poor design and poor balance. Call too arms is a well designed card that is now balanced.
For me I would say vicious fledgling is up there for poor design though. It is one of my favorite cards and I am sad it's not in arena, but from a design perspective blizzard should never have made it.
Divine Favor and Spreading Plague are on my top, for sure. Punish control decks for having more cards in hand than aggro? Punish aggro decks for having a lot of minions on board (like aoe effects weren't enough)? Bullshit
The card on its own is pretty similar to Blizzard. The problem was giving it to Druid.
prenerf undertaker I think. that and cogmaster, which absolutely crushed people back in the old days and were much worse than a lot of 'OP' cards today. seen some people saying spreading plague or reno, where you need to reach turn 6. back in naxx and gvg turn 6 was mythical, since hardly anyone got there.
Probably an unpopular opinion but the deathlnight guldan card to me is BS with the amount of skull, lackey, cube shenanigans. Really sucks to play against.

I’d say Keleseth is a rather terrible cards to play against or with. If you get it it’s a massive advantage over your opponent. And if you’re a rouge and bounce it a few times it’s game over. But then if you don’t draw it ever and lack all the useful 2 drops you could have used throughout the game you’re at a loss. High rolly.
I am so happy that coldlight oracle rotated to the hall of fame. I know i'm kind of alone with that opinion, but hated every kind of mill to the death. Just straight up losing cards, that cannot be recovered in any way is just so painful. But well i dislike the concept of milling cards and discarding as well, if you could at least chose what card to throw away...
I'm changing my vote to Shudderwock. It's like as if Yogg instead of probably killing himself, just put himself back into your hand and reduced his cost to one mana. And just kept doing that until only the opponent was dead. Unspeakably stupid.
I have another, but for a reason I haven't heard anybody mention yet, and that is King Togwaggle.
Now don't get me wrong, I love the card and in the context of OTK and combo decks I find the card to be actually very well designed. (especially the whole Aviana, Kun, Togwaggle, Azalina combo, which I think is the epitome of a control deck especially during mirrors).
However, what I am assuming was the original design by T5 for the card I think he was poorly designed. In a non combo deck almost nobody is going allow you to keep their deck if you just pop this guy onto the board as part of no combo in particular. At the very best you managed to permanently keep your opponent's deck if they misplayed and kept a full hand at the end of their turn. The most likely scenario would be that you force your opponent to spend 5 mana to deck swap or they had 10 cards after getting the ransom so your opponent spent 8 mana to mill one card from the opponent.

Cancerous cube

Potion of Madness was a horrible card to play against and it does seem like a poorly designed card, at least because of the 1 mana cost.
Also void lord, because screw void lord

just to trigger some people, EVERY PALADIN CARD ON THIS STUPID GAME
According to this forum, every card that is good. Unless they nerf it, then the new good ones that were bad are the poorly designed ones.

You can guess what my favourite deck type is :D

Yogg-Saron for sure. Wins from nowhere for no reason(Pre-nerf).
