Lol I just imagine them banging their heads on the keyboard, and getting up and replacing it with a new one hence the waiting. It's not hard to multi-task while playing hearthstone. I usually play it in window mode, and browse memes and stuff while I wait.
For everyone who realizes they have absolutely won or lost their match, and spend their last turns waiting the entire length of their turn in an attempt to upset the opponent and waste time.
Thank you, I spend that much needed time relaxing "between" games, and catching up on hearthstone forums, decks, and news so I can get better at the game and continue pissing off people like you, who can't win, and throw a fit about it.
You're awesome <3
If that were the case you wouldn't feel the overwhelming urge to come to forums and shove it down their throats how you don't care and how it's awesome. If you truly didn't care you wouldn't even noticed it and certainly wouldn't come to forums to talk about it.
Truth is you hate them for it but can't do anything about it so you come to talk how "you love it".
I think the time per turn should start from 40 sec and inc with each turn. Its so annoying to w8 someone for his turn 2 while he has 4-5 cards in his hands on empty board. This isnt blizzcon/ESL/etc just a normal game that doesnt matter at all.
For some ppl every game is important and they want to improve themselves and make best play possible and calculate every scenario etc, but i do agree goin to rope on T1/T2 is kinda silly and very annoying ;-)
Blizzard should make a report option to ban people who do this nonsense . dota 2 uses it very effectively
Does dota have some specific ban for BM? and what is considered BM in dota? or did u ment ban in general, as a tool to be used in dota often (as it is in LOL).
It is indeed highly annoying. Ranks right up there with saying "Thank you" or "I'm Sorry" when you win.
i say "thank you" if my opponent missplayed his turn and basicly gave me leathal (like yesterday shaman with doomhammer cleared 4/4 minion and took 8dmg to face, i would not have leathal otherwise) or i say "sorry" when i topdeck leathal. No BM just using the emotes in the situation i think its appropriate :p
This is completely BM. An opponent misplaying a turn a giving you lethal is not a situation where 'thank you' is appropriate.
For u it might be BM, for me it is more like expressing my feelings with only way possible in the game. In that situation i might actualy be thankfull to him, that he missplayed and ended long/boring game right here and there and i can move on to the next one. Im not saying im doing it after every missplay, but sometimes when opponent just donates me a game, im genuinely thankfull so i say thank you :P

Of course, because it's an incredible waste of my time to spread positive ideas and share happiness with other people ;)
You could have saved yourself a lot of time and energy and just said "you mad bro?" like a troll usually would.
intentional feeding is BM in a way i guess :O . i did mean ban as a general probably like in LOL . its not everyone does the waiting thing . i've met like 5 guys since i started
Wish they would implement an auto squelch option. Since I've started squelching at the start of the game times go quick. Once you respond to their emotes with your own they've won and their little game begins.
while there are some people in hearthstone who are obviously just being douchey making you wait ALL OF THEIR TURN 3 to play lightning storm or something like that, or pyroblast you for lethal...
you also REALLY dont know what is going on on the other end of the match - i have taken ALL OF TURN 4 deciding what to play cause im actually trying to figure out what my best move is against the deck im playing against, ESPECIALLY if some of the cards im playing have an RNG element. Additionally, i have three kids, one of whom is 10 months old - shit happens - older kids start arguing, baby wakes up from nap, dogs bark cause someone knocks at the door (which wakes up baby, "No thank you sir i do not need a new religion at 11:37 am on boxing day."
Not all of us can sit down and give our undivided attention to this game for 4 hours at a stretch, and when i used to care about trying to grind legend the ladder i would do backflips to stay in a game and run back to the comp at the end of each turn (often enough leading to some horrible misplays in otherwise awesome delicate control matches)- then i realized it really doesn't matter, for me at least, and i usually just concede the game when appropriate...
hella sucks though when the baby wakes up during an arena match...
The best punishment for those people is when you win the game. Yesterday a Paladin took every second till the end of the rope since turn 1 and lost. In those cases we probably concede early on to avoid wasting time, but sometimes you may win and the feeling is even better than a "normal win".

I have the same situations.
But that's not I have a problem with. I can usually tell the difference. If some rng and a play went my way then suddenly the other guys is dragging things out, its most likely not because of diaper duty.

am i the only one who totally forgets to emote and all i use is "well played" or "that was a mistake" from time to time

gave me a nice laugh
I have the right to be thankful ANYTIME I want!
This is statement is false.

Ya you couldn't do that regardless or anything.
You sound the like the person who got dumped then rushes to tell all your mutual friends you dumped them first.
Why not just concede and queu up a new game?
Because he is trying to BM his opponent by sticking around wasting time even when he know he lost.

My policy is:
Make a sarcastic emote and I will make every turn an eternity.
I hate when someone doesnt just kill me they sit there and buff everything up and take their time I concede or alt+tab and look at porn
Shinies!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!
Finally some honest person! :D
