They already are happening. Seeing people asking for Kirin Tor Mage to be nerfed now of all things, freaking Kirin Tor Mage for crying out loud, you know a vanilla card that has been around in the game for how long now?
"Lesser, greater, middling, it's all the same. Proportions are negotiated, boundaries blurred. I'm not a pious hermit, I haven't done only good in my life. But if I'm to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all."
I think there was a recent thread that basically asked the question of "what do players really mean when they call for nerfs" and the resounding answer was "I want my favorite deck to win basically all the time". So since all of us have different favorite decks, there will always be people crying for nerfs.
That's not to say nerfs are bad, they are needed and I think on a more frequent basis than they are right now, but there's no pleasing everyone. There's already even a new "nerf warlock" thread on the front page.
Everyone's complaining that the nerfs weren't enough when in the past Blizzard just nuked cards that were problematic meaning they never saw play again.
I think they did a pretty good job this time. I've been seeing the old tier one decks being played but also a huge range of new ones which just weren't competitive as before. That should be the aim of nerfs. Not - oh I hate Cube Lock and Quest Rogue. Blizzard should nerf them so hard I never have to play that deck ever again. But - lets nerf a few key cards to bring down the power level of certain decks so other decks have a decent chance to be played and the game experience is more interesting as a result.
So many stupid players that don't actually know how to balance the game and just cry for nerfs because they think the only reason they're not legend is because of a certain card or certain deck.

I think its safe to say that Mana Wyrm should have been nerfed a long time ago.
Other than that I don't feel any need for nerfing anything... Maybe spiteful. Just nerf it to oblivion.
Couldnt agree more. Generally class specific 1 mana 1/3s are a bit too powerfull. Trogg tunneler, mana wyrm, northshire cleric, all of them are pretty busted for a one mana card.

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
Spiteful nerf did nothing.
I think once per expansion is fine, I like the way theyve been doing it.
NERF TAUNT DRUID

Nerf had no effect on call to arms

People will whine about anything.
Cubelock isn’t god-tier anymore, so I’m happy. The Spiteful nerf was nice as well and the Quest Rogue nerf was the cherry on top.
I am calling it now...
Dead but dreaming
People still asking for a Quest Rogue nerf.

What a pointless thread
I'll tell you more: people started calling for more nerfs even before this nerfs went live ^_^
As soon as the meta settles and there's a new king of the hill, people will be whining for nerfs.
Also, I think spiteful could probably take another couple hits from the nerf hammer and still see play.

Maybe they are justified calls for nerfs you know ? Blizzard has already proven that they are bad at balancing their game.
