I would love your help for crafting a legendary! Answer the poll if possible and please let me know why should I craft it in the comments. Thanks!!!
I got some spare dust for some epics to go along the decks, and I know that the logical choice would be a neutral one, but I want to know which of the legendaries below you like! Don't think about if it's safe or neutral, just tell me which one you like and why!
It depends on what kind of deck you are looking for. Baku and Keleseth are great for aggro/midrange decks but Malfurion and Godfrey will be staples in any slower control decks from their class. (except for taunt druid)
Kingsbane is not doing too well right now because of the abscence of coldlight oracle so out of the list, I would definitely keep this one at the bottom.
Hey WD, I totally agree. I think Kingsbane is probably not so good, but it seems so much fun lol. About Baku and Keleseth they are neutrals, so it would probably be the "safe" choices. But I'm just curious to know the love each of these cards will get hehe
Ok the edit gives a lot more context to the situation. My favourite is definitely Malfurion as slamming him down (or any death knight really) feels super satisfying especially with the entrance quote.
I’ve never played a Kingsbane deck though, so I really would not know how fun it is. But judging from my experince vs it right now, it definitely falls short against aggro decks and most control decks have the tools to kill it before it becomes out of hand.
Yeah, Baku and Keleseth seems like great crafts. But the nerf coming this week will definitely change the meta! I'm just really curious about which of these seem like a good craft
Definitely wait until the nerfs and like maybe 1 or 2 more weeks, we don't know exactly what the meta will look like, I mean Warlock will still be decent and odd paladin will see more play, murloc paladin will probably be the best choice, Quest rogue will still get rekt by aggro and will probably beat anything slow (I mean getting 4/4s instead of 5/5 is an important change but still getting 1 and 2 mana 4/4 for the rest of the game sounds pretty good vs. control decks) and then depending on how good stuff like murloc pally and odd rogue get then tempo mage could be solid and taunt druid probably will be solid as well but it'll need to shift to more early anti-aggro and less super late game as warlock gets weaker anyway.
On a vacuum Keleseth and Baku are the better choice, they are neutral. Kelly is an early win condition and Baku is an archetype on its own but Druid DK will see play in anything not using Hadronox for the obvious anti-synergy, you can put Godfrey in absolutely any slow ish warlock and it works pretty fine. The only one I definitely not recommend crafting Kingsbane, I have it cause the dusting value is shit but I haven't played it at all since K&C, you can go for like a control ish build but you need pretty strong hands every single game to win, if you play wild you can try it there and it's decent enough but still really niche.
For the fun side of things... to be honest, none of them are actually "fun" to play, apart from Baku.
Godfrey does stuff, but is really bland and boring.
I disenchanted my Kingsbane because I just never used it.
In my personal opinion, I think Malfurion is one of the worst DKs in the game. Apart from the hero power, it just seems so over-costed for what you get.
Keleseth can make the game a lot more fun knowing the rest of your minions are that much stronger and that you're probably going to win the game. But that's IF you actually manage to play it. I've actually dropped it from heaps of my decks because it's so damn unreliable.
Baku gives you a lot of deck-building and creativity opportunities.
In the end, Baku would be the way to go. With Keleseth coming in a far second.
As other users commented, wait for the patch and then see what legendary is still relevant in the meta.
I never liked Kingsbane because it was very frustrating to play against. That said, I've faced some decks built around it and although they are a bit slow can definitely be a thing again if the meta shifts towards control.
I use [deck]Lord Godfrey[/deck] in Control Warlock because I opened him. It's useful but you can go without him by adding another Twisting Nether.
Malfurion the Pestilent is a staple in Druid so is a safe craft (only if you really like Druid).
Baku the Mooneater can be used in a variety of decks and if you like deckbuilding then you can have some fun.
Can't say more about Prince Keleseth other than if you have him in your opening hand it's probably GG. Safe craft.
"Lesser, greater, middling, it's all the same. Proportions are negotiated, boundaries blurred. I'm not a pious hermit, I haven't done only good in my life. But if I'm to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all."
And about your suggestions, I really appreciate them. Will give it a few weeks to see how the meta will settle. But I'll eventually probably be crafting Baku the Mooneater and Keleseth
I voted Baku the Mooneater simply because it has a couple of strong decks, it has one of the longest time left to play in standard, and its a neutral card. Once the DK's rotate out next year Baku will have a year left. Lord Godfrey is a good card but its only playable in Warlock, which will take a hit after the nerfs. Prince Keleseth is a good card, and neutral, but it has a shorter time left in standard. If you play wild its an option, but Baku's gives you a buffed hero power from the start of the game, Prince Keleseth needs to be drawn and played. That leaves Kingsbane. With the rotation Southsea Squidface rotated to wild making the deck not quite as good. If you play wild its an option and the decks for Kingsbane are quite strong, if not I would give it a pass.
You do realize that the nerfs are hitting literally one day from now right? Don't craft things until the meta settles, the nerfs will an impact on the cards you're considering crafting
Spiteful nerf may devalue Malfurion and Keleseeth; lackey and pact nerf may devalue Godfrey. Kingsbane and Baku might get better because the other decks are getting taken down a notch. Or Kingsbane might get worse because the meta will be more aggro (more bad matchups) without warlock roadblocking them as hard

Prince Keleseth, Baku the Mooneater, Malfurion the Pestilent, Lord Godfrey or Kingsbane?
It's hard to vote if we don't know what kind of deck you're looking to play.
Baku seems the most logical choice for obvious reasons.

Hey Loki, just added to the post an explanation for not even saying the type of decks I like to play :)
Just want to know which card people like and I'll give it a shot haha

Nerf patch in 2 days. The meta will change. Wait at least 1 week then decide

My name is Leinad too! Loved the idea hahah

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
I'd go for good Frey, but, I'm warlock fag
Baku gives you the best variety in deckbuilding, with Keleseth coming close second.
I'd say DK Malfurion.
1- Dk Druid, the dk I play the most since KFT. Really fun and powerful.
2- Keleseth: I love playing it in ago druid and zoo lock, one of the most satisfying play turn 2, makes the cut.
Man, Baku’s not even that good. All of the odd decks are tier 3/4.
IMO the best pick is Prince Keleseth.
You probably wouldn’t regret crafting any of these though to be fair.
