Warlock is the fckn shit to hate here. 2 expansions tier 1. Getting shit like Godfrey in adition. Should have been nerfed months ago. I dont think theres some kind of conspiracy behind rogue nerfs. Blade Flurry was obvious, pathces and bonemare also. Quest was bullshit when released. It makes sense.
You forgot when they nerfed Small-Time Buccaneer. That card or Swashburglar combined with Patches for one of the strongest Turn 1 plays Rogue has ever had in this game.
I don't know about the Leeroy Arcane golden deck, and it sounds interesting, can someone please explain?
Back in vanilla and naxx era HS the deck centered around cycling through your deck quickly to get Leeroy or Arcane Golem and using Shadowsteps on them to charge face, with your last attack with that minion getting double buffed with Cold Blood.
(Note: I'm an idiot. A big thank you to Blizzard for nerfing cards to the point where they're forgotten by people who've been playing this game for years. Check your comments/messages before sending them, people!)
Excuse my Azerothian, but what the fuck are you talking about? Arcane Golem wasn't released until Karazhan, which was released so far off from Naxx, what are you even on about? Do you mean Molten? Also, Cold Blood isn't a Warrior card. When you mention using Shadowstep on them to charge face, are you talking about the old version of Warsong Commander? Your comment is so fucking confusing.
he said arcane golem, which is from the classic set.you are thinking arcane giant which was released in karhazan. also this was a rogue OTK, not warrior.
arcane golem used to be a 4/2 charge, and so you could use it for a OTK.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Because none of them decks are fun to play against. Like mill and quest, they are pretty much dead against faster aggro and forced the meta into all aggro and the community don't like it when aggro rules. Same goes for miracle, watching someone draw the whole deck is not something to enjoy.
How so? It addresses the fact of the situation that the rogue class has repeatedly been nerfed so that whatever deck it is currently using in most previous metas is more or less removed from the meta. On top of that, T5 just releases more cards that usually only fit the same rogue archtypes as the previous rogue decks that got nerfed in the first place (ie combo and aggro decks).
Essentially rogue is stuck being a combo and aggro class for the most part, which means the vast majority of their decks are never left alone in the metas they are used in because players continually ask for nerfs of all of decks and usually get them to some degree. If the types of cards rogues were given was expanded to be inclusive of more archtypes (e.g. consistent control cards and/or class-based midrange or tempo cards) then perhaps we'd start getting more rogue decks that actually makes it through any balance checks, and thus actually stick around for more than one meta.
Ppl dont like cards in which they cant interact prepare counter etc. Its a solitaire game and ppl dont like it
Well, then how about T5 stop restricting rogue to an only combo-based class? Almost every class has received thematic changes since vanilla that has transformed them from control/combo/aggro/midrange into one or more of the other archtypes as well. If rogues were actually given some of the new board clears, instead of warlock, or actual healing options not attached to Kingsbane (which I wouldn't find to be outrageous since mage was transformed from a non-healing class to a healing heavy control class), and were also given actual big threats that could take rogues into the late game it might make it so that people felt that they weren't just having to survive against a crazy combo setup.
I don't hate Rogue. Don't like to play it myself. I hate Priest WAY more. Rogue is just annoying a lot of times because of plays like they used to have with neverending card draw and being able to play an 8/8 on turn 1. But those kinda things don't happen all the time.
Cards like sap, vanish, shadowstep make me hate rogue. Nothing else bothers me about rogue, it's just those cards. Bouncing is a stupid mechanic when battlecries (or quests when they complete) are so powerful. It makes it so the rogue doesn't have to care about what you do. Your moves don't matter, you are just biding time waiting for them to draw the right cards. You are powerless. This is not a good feeling. At least with Dorty Rat we had something to fight back with, but nope, now you are free to do your stupid combo in peace.
A big part of the vocal population of HS hates anything that's good against control decks. Rogue tends to be a control killer a lot of the time, especially when their life total isn't under pressure and they can sculpt their hand. Bad control players usually want the game to be easy and for their deck to have no bad matchups, and their voices ring out loudly and persistently across the internet.
Way too many BS combos. turn 1 6/6 with Edwin and counterfeit coin, double cold blood + leeroy, quest rogue, mill rogue, it seems that all the rogue archetypes are cheap and hard to play around. (Except Burgle and Tempo).
The class is very similar to its original WoW class. Like in World of Warcraft, the class is at times either op or sub par. The problem is the way the class is built, you either have cards that make it very op or lack luster.
So in the way the class is forced to be Nerfed because there are no in between with it.
It can't keep up with other classes with average cards, so they're forced to make op cards to allow rogue to do good, but that leads to massive overplayed, following by a Nerf cry, then the eventual nerf.
Same goes for miracle, watching someone draw the whole deck is not something to enjoy.
Yeah but the person drawing their whole deck is having an awesome time. There's a saying in card games that "fun is a zero sum game." I enjoy Shadowstepping Leeroy or Wild Malygos OTK's as much as my opponent hates it. There should be some amount space for decks that feel bad to play against or uninteractive combo decks, as long as they're not dominant.
Because she is dumb class....maly rogue? Just returning minions to your hand and then OTK you. Mill rogue??? I dont know how someone can play this stupid and "interactive" deck. Mirracle same stupid shit...tempo rogue? Turn 2 prince kal ×3 gg... Quest rogue is bad designed card that should be deleted from hs...kingsbane rogue is stupid version of stupid mill rogue...she have only 2 fair decks. N'zoth/reno or odd rogue...every other deck is not fun at all to play against.... I hope they will kill rogue class -.- hate her so much!!!

Lol, yeah it's not rogue players who want zero challenge in their wins.

I cannot remember a time when miracle rogue was not legend material, so for me it never has been out of the meta. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tbh, i perversely like the fact that Rogue can systematically come up with broken stuff at each expansion.
It means the class is in a good shape, and the Rogue community is smart enough.
I mean, it's not like they have to give Rogues broken stuff to survive: Prince Rogue in KFT was a master abuser of neutral cards.
I do agree that Rogue kinda lacks variety, but so does eg Hunter.
Yet, i don't see the community hate as a reason behind it. Just Rogue's inherent strength, which can be seen in a positive light.
Now, if they put some serious effort in Miracle/Oil Rogue instead of having to rely on QR to counter the meta, that would be much better...

Problem were broken cards cause rogue can heavy combo stuff

Its just a polarizing class to play against.
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
