Sure. I dont think it necessarily would be an auto 2x include. At the 5-mana cost, it becomes more fine tuned and people tend to be more selective.
Since the intention here leans more towards mod game deck manipulation you are playing it for the slim down rather than anything else.
And not to mention, if you have reached this point then the final third of your deck order is very important. A 1/12 chance of getting a Level Up vs a 1/15 is a big advantage here.
It appears that the op is a bit of conspiracy nutjob who thinks Blizzard will rig this card's effects in some magical way to make recruiting three 1 mana minions for five mana better than recruiting three 2 mana minions for four mana.
Please... just stop... you’re embarassing everyone.
It may have received a 1-mana cost increase which slows it down by one turn (insert appropriate scathing eye roll here)
But the real problem is that they literally just handed Odd Paladin the keys to run even more rampant getting out their 1-drops with eve more speed and efficiency. Combine that with Divine favour and it has just reached insane levels of value. Sure, Even Paladin loses the card. But thats not such a huge problem for that deck which relies on bigger single threats rather than swarms
Its not like Paladin needed the buff to be fair. I am frankly amazed that Blizzard did not even see that one coming! Lol
I don't see it, which 1 drops you had in mind?
CTA is amazing in Even Paladin because it pulls strong minions like Knife Juggler and Dire Wolf Alpha that has to be answered before getting out of control.
In Odd Paladin you can only pull 1 drops, so we're talking vanilla 1/2, vanilla 2/1 or 1/1 divine shield minions, i can't see how those low impact minion are better than something weak like Silver Hand Knight or Green Jelly.
Argent Squire and more importantly Righteous Protector are two very strong 1 drops in Odd Pally. And combined with Blessing of Might can be fearsome (not to mention the fact that protector is a great taunt minion too)
It also allows you to include 1-drops that you would normally avoid due to their battlecries such as Gravelsnout Knight.
I’m not claiming that this is now an autoinclude or anything. Just an example. CtA has the benefit of summon rather than playing so it can play bigger 1-drops that have bad battlecry downsides.
So in that respect the ‘its bad cos no battlecry’ argument actually falls pretty flat.

Those are decent 1-drops......on turn 1. If you had a choice of playing two Protectors and a Squire on 5, or playing Level Up/Scalebane/Fungalmancer, you'll chose the latter every single time. Three 1-drops on turn 5 sucks, "deck thinning" or not.

Of course you would. But that’s missing the point here. The whole point of running this card is to help ensure you find that Level Up or whatever.
I mean, tell me this. Turn 5. Your hand is empty. Would you rather top deck a Call To arms for 5 mana or Argent Squire for 1?
Another choice using the cards you suggested. Would you rather top deck a CtA or a Fungelmancer with nothing on the board or hand? You ‘could’ hero power for two measly 1/1s and then hope the opponent doesnt kill them off quickly.
Even worse if you draw a Level Up with an empty board.
Instead, Cta gives you board presence and tempo that will allow you to find that Level Up card without losing the initiative.
But all that said, I am surprised I am actually having to try and explain to prople why Cta is such a good card. There’s a reason it is currently billed as one of the strongest cards in the game.

You don't need to explain anything; we all understand intuitively that 4-mana for three 2-drops is insane.
I'm surprised that we have to explain to you that 5-mana for three 1-drops is garbage.

If my hand is empty by turn 5 I did something very wrong. You do realize that Odd Paladin can summon two 1/1s every turn without playing a single card, right?
And I'm sorry but what the hell....you're saying that CTA on 5 is great for 5 mana (three 1-drops) but 2-mana Hero Power to summon two 1/1s is "two measly 1/1s that get killed off quickly." lol logic.....

Well, If you say it like this doesn't seem that good, but when you realize that you are actually drawing three cards AND playing 3 one drops with a single spell its preeeetty bonkers. Its equivalent to an Nourish plus 3 one drops, witch is worth at least 8 mana.
I think it will certainly see play. Odd paladin has a lot of pretty terrible cards like raid leader and stormwind champion. Surely there's room to slip one CTA in. Will it make it better? We'll see.
I think murloc paladin will certainly still use it. It does get in the way a bit with the megasaurs on turn 4/5 but they run it at 4 mana, I don't see why they wouldn't at 5 mana. It will be a nerf (as it should be) but I think they'll still use it, if only because I can't think of much they could replace it with that would be nearly as consistent.
5 mana for 3 mana worth is less good (worse) ((not better)) than 4 mana 6 mana worth, OP. Hope this helps your i-cant-basic syndrome.

Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.

Although I agree that the card isn't OP in the slightest, you are delusional if you believe playing 3 one drops is actually worth only 3 mana. Check out the stats for the average 5 drop and one drop and get back at me.
A single Saronite Chaingang probably gives better stats than CtA in OddPaladin (+taunt) .
Yes technically you thin your deck by 3 cards , but you have to play them in your deck in the first place. Also people seem to forget CtA costing 5 makes it much worse ( also in every other Paladin) , because do you keep a 5 drop in your starting hand??
If yes, you better pray to find good cards making a somewhat smooth curve til turn5 (gl vs new aggro decks, like Mage or Hunter). If not you draw/play CtA way less on curve wich makes it even more irrelevant.
Look CTA is now a balanced card. It will definitly see play. We already have 3 Mana draw 2, 5mana draw 3, and 7 mana draw 4. I don't know how CTA ever made it out of development at 4 Mana. Soooooo stupid. It is now the card it always should have been.

I'm wondering what's the best outcome from CTA in Odd Pally if someone were to CTA into their Odd Pally deck. 2x Dire Mole + 1x Righteous Protector?
