I'm thinking tempo mage will run away with it. They don't need to worry about losing tempo on turn 4 to paladins (not including coin plays in murloc paladin, which will continue to dominate I think).
Spiteful priest and druid should still see quite a bit of play. We'll probably see more spiteful keleseth/Lady in White priests in the future I bet.
Also spell hunter could surge to the top with the nerfs to cubelock. I'm excited. I think all the nerfs are quite reasonable actually. I don't play wild so I can't say anything about the Naga Sea Witch nerf haha.

spiteful decks won't get hit that hard, still insane stats for 7 mana, so no big deal there. Warlock will still be strong but now consistently obliterated by *aggro, not tempo* mage. I don't think the round of nerfs will be the big shake up the meta needed but rather a reduction on the frustration factor. can't see any new decks rising to relevance except maybe control mage ? Spell hunter benefits from the cubelock change but still won't get through the endless taunts....
Yeahhh I know it's more of an aggro mage. The website just seems obsessed with calling it a tempo mage. I still want to call it a traditional burn mage lol (which is just a fancy word for aggro really).
I think the top of the meta will be burn mage, murloc paladin, and spiteful priest/druid. With taunt druid (featuring Hadronox, The Lich King, Master Oakheart) being played by people who can afford it.

The Caverns Below will now reward by making minions 4/4 instead of 5/5
I think these changes will change the metagame slightly at first, but then people will start to realize the changes are very dramatic overall.
Firstly, Warlock having to wait 1 full turn later for Lackey Dark Pact combos is huge. It will feel more 'fair' now and at least gives aggro decks more time to get damage in.
Second, Call to Arms hurts Even Paladin alot and it might still get played at first, I think the card was essential to their strategy and big Tarim turns. Murloc paladin will probably rise to the top again.
Third, Spiteful decks will simply shift their Spiteful card slots with something else and rearrange a few things. Spiteful Druid will still be powerful because they can ramp with the 3 drop deathrattle minion.
Quest Rogue's biggest weakness will now be Spreading Plague, but Vanish still works there. I think it will slow the deck down enough that it wont be played as much.
In Wild, I will actually start playing again with the NSW nerf. I hated playing against that deck because I tend not to play aggro decks and would just auto lose on turn 5/6.
Yep...im playing renolock and im rank 2 now and i still winning vs most warlocks all the time...but nagalock?? I hate them xd but also wanna say that my deck didnt get any nerf because u dont use any of these cards that will be nerfed so im very very happy about that...probably will be even better after nerfs :D
Even Paladin looks pretty undesirable now, so I think Murloc Paladin will be the new best Paladin deck. Odd Pally will be the second best Paladin deck in Tier 2
I think Spiteful decks will still be good, but maybe not tier 1. Tier 2?
I think Cubelock is gonna be either Tier 2 or 3, more likely 2, along with regular Control Warlock.
Naga Sea Witch looks pretty rekt, so that wild Warlock deck is out of the meta for sure.
- I still think Cubelock and Controlock are very good. But there will be fewer games where they can stabilize on like <5 Health, and come back to win.
- Even Paly is dead. Murloc Paly is probably the paladin of choice. Odd Paladin still has the same issues, CTA doesn't do a ton for it, but it's welcome.
- Spiteful Decks are still playable, and Spiteful Druid is probably still the best one. There may be some slight room for other midrange decks now (I'm thinking Hunter specifically).
- Aggro Mage got a lot better. It's best matchup is better, and one of it's worst match ups is basically dead. But this also means that Priest, Warrior, and Druid got a lot better.
- Odd Warrior looks like it could be a big winner.
- Quest Rogue gets worse on Ladder, but is still probably the same deck in Tournament and Legend.
vs Quest Rogue - Control Mage only auto-lost against Caverns Below... which is probably finally dead with this nerf. If for whatever reason it doesn't die, then the match-up is much more doable, since it loses a lot of burst potential, and you can clear w/ Flamestrike.
vs Cubelock - the match-up can be a struggle for Control Mage, but the Lackey/Pact nerfs is not insignificant. Slowing down the power-turns will make the deck weaker all around.
vs Paladin - Even and Odd paladins will probably disappear, but Murloc Paladin will still be a thing. Does CTA even cut it in that deck for 5 mana? Maybe. Slows it down a bit, though, which is a good thing. Control Mage was always favored against aggro paladin, and a turn 5 CTA is very manageable.
Nothing changed for Cubelock - Tricking Voidlord on T6/T7 is still OP af, Dark Pact is still pretty good Nothing changed for Spiteful decks - T6 Tyrantus or T7 Tyrantus? No one cares, you are still dead, lol. Call to Arms is burried - Not bad Rogue Quest - RIP Priests, nothing really changed Naga Sea Witch - Finaly!
Well, and the biggest problem - Sunkeeper Tarim - Is still unchanged - RIP!
Meta predictions? Nothing extra will change, we might see more hunters / tempo mages, but that's probably all ;)
Aggro mage doesn't do exceptionally well against pretty anything people are going to be playing more of post nerfs. It still loses to spiteful decks, it still loses to odd paladin and murloc paladin.
I see the biggest beneficiaries being Big Mage and Even Shaman, and there will be a big increase in mind blast priest.
Murloc Pali, Taunt Dudu, Burn Mage, Mid-range Hunter, Tempo Mage, Control Priest will rise in popularity. I think that Spiteful decks will also stay popular.
Dunno for (quest) Warrior, Baku Hunter, Shaman, Cubelock, Big Spell Mage, Controllock, Zoolock.
[edit] There is still some time for the last likes and some may make a comeback. I personally find CheeseEtc', Angry Chicken's, tabuhli's and SWGolgoth's cards to be super interesting as well. Sadly we all had to end up on the same page and not all good cards will make it to the final poll.
Nobody mentions Control Priest but I think it will sit comfortably in Tier 1 after the nerfs.
Spiteful druid and Warlock as a whole become easier and there *should be* less Quest Rogues on the ladder. Also paladins were already a good match-up but they become even easier.
The Caverns Below will now reward by making minions 4/4 instead of 5/5
I don't play Wild much, so not sure how the NSW nerf will effect that side. What little wild play I did do, I never saw a lot of giant decks, but then again, I don't think I ever went beyond rank 10.
I don't think Spiteful change will have much effect on Spiteful Druid due to ramp, but will probably knock Spiteful Priest down quite a bit.
CTA will probably kill off even Paladin, but it already was starting to seem like Odd Paladin was the better deck.
Dark Pact / Lackey likely won't knock warlock down all that much. They still have a lot of tools in the box to work with.
Not sure what to think about Quest Rogue. Only thing this change does is maybe give Control Mage and Control Warrior a little more chance, but I still think it will continue to beat slow decks and lose to fast one ... it will just take one more turn to win.
I do think the changes will shake things up for a while, but in the end, I think it all settles back down pretty close to where it was.

I wanna glide down, over Mulholland I wanna write her, name in the sky I wanna free fall, out into nothin' Gonna leave this, world for awhile
Paladin and Warlock and Spiteful got hit but will be able to adjust.
Both in Wild and Standard, i think the meta tiers will change very little, but the average matchup will be much less polarised, which is a great achievement.
At least, i hope so.
Nagalock may survive in some Even Nagalock/Handlock hybrids.

It's not gonna change much to be honest in my opinion. VERY disappointed in these nerfs.

Don't forget odd rogue guys, this deck is gonna benefit a lot of this changes and also it is a really good counter to tempo aggro mage
Agreed, with even pally gone and warlock being much slower, odd rouge is gonna be on top because it counters Aggro mage
I don't think Spiteful change will have much effect on Spiteful Druid due to ramp, but will probably knock Spiteful Priest down quite a bit.

Cube warlock will still dominate late game and kill other late-game decks (maybe except priest).
Aggro will be a lot better (murloc paladin, odd rogue, aggro mage, maybe even shaman). Odd rogue will probably be the best of them.
Midrange won't keep up with aggro and die.
So it will be a very polarized meta between aggro and cubelock&control priest.
If only Bloodreaver Gul'dan was also nerfed...
