... I think we need a place to call out for nerfs... like the salt/pepper Thread. A save place for people to call out all the overpowered cards... and I can ignore it ;-)
So...the salt thread??? i mean the annoying thing about nerf threads is that people open millions of nerf threads about the same card instead of just using th search function to post in an already opened one why they consder X card should be nerfed, for example a quick search reveals that there are 4 different nerf threads for "nerf spiteful summoner" https://www.hearthpwn.com/search?search=nerf spiteful, and that's only when it doesn't come in a bundle of "my top nerfs for this meta" posts, if you think it through, why didn't the other three psotes just posted in the first thread that was opened?, why didn't thye use the search function? why did they keep on drowning the recent threads tab with more whine threads instead of jsut bumping the previous ones and letting interesting topics be in the front page as well?.
Nerf threads need a nerf. The response rate on them is just too good for forum posting and they keep other fun types of threads from being viable in the current forum meta. Do the hearthpwn mods care about balance at all?!

Oh get over yourself . The Meta Screenshot indicates that nerf threads represent less than 20% of the meta atm, and have a response rate of less than 60%, behind salt threads and even game threads. The forum meta is balanced ; git gud or switch to neogeo
There is a whole different between Salt and Opinion on Nerfs, It isn't healthy for the community to bring their salts to nerf thread meanwhile it's pretty good to discuss cards power and how Blizzard should work on cards.
Cubes and Paladins are killing it and there is no doubt and it's even more disgusting than Raza-Priest, We should expect to see threads about the current meta and in my opinion, we need a general thread for discussing cards power.

Good luck getting that through anyone's skull around here.

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I agree with OP, however, I also think balance and power creep should continue to be discussed. As in,
"I played X amount of cubelocks with this deck here (posts decklist) and I found Cubelock to be OP. Is it my deck, or is Cubelock seriously that powerful?"
Presenting it this way opens the door for others to put in their two cents. I came over here from the Official Blizzard Forum.
When Crystal Core was first released, there was a huge backlash of players begging for a nerf because it was OP. The community responded with,
"Git gud, noob."
Crystal Core was nerfed and now a lot of players say it isn't enough.
Now, I absolutely believe in discussion, and exchanging ideas. I believe we, as the players/purchasers of such content should have a say in what we want out of the game. Not THE final say, mind you, but at least some acknowledgement to our reaction as a community.
I know I'm new here but I think having a thread dedicated to "Please Nerf This," would help anyone who is in or connected to the design team get a real quick idea of what the community likes/dislikes.
If you see 2 people say Kingsbane Rogue is OP, it will probably be ignored.
If you see 200 threads, with 20+ replies each claiming "Cubelock is OP," it might be worth an investigation. I am looking at this strictly from a researchers' point of view. Valid information is way easier to find if it is consolidated.
Thank you for taking the time to read. :)

The fact that there are so many nerf threads for a bunch of different cards makes me think no nerfs are needed.
But there is salt thread already. Why open a second one?

I think we should have a thread for people complaining about nerf threads.

My mom put my neogeo on top of the fridge where I can't reach it, jerk. Who looks stupid now?
