Title. It seems like every other game I play is against a Tempo Rogue. Its not even that good of a deck, but a lot of people are playing it. Anyone have an idea as to why?
It's a fun deck to play and a lot more engaging than other tempo decks. I have a lot more fun playing tempo rogue over spiteful druid/priest. I actually feel like I earn my wins with it haha.
My win rate with tempo rogue is like 40% though x.x

Maybe because Tempo Rogue is an actual tempo deck that follows a tempo playstyle, which some players enjoy, unlike "Tempo Mage", which unlike the older version is not a tempo playstyle (it is a burn playstyle).
Some say its easy to pilot (lol no, not compared to Taunt Druid/Cubelock) , some say its hard to pilot and is a rewarding deck to win with. The people saying it is not that good of a deck, well.. it's not an incredibly OP deck like cubelock and the other suspects.

Damn, that's pretty bad you should consider change your list or something i dont think i can reach such a winrate with this deck...
I've been playing Baku rogue in legend and I've been winning a lot with it. Like close to %85-%90. I think it counters the current meta perfectly, people may have just realized that.

You are aware that Baku Rogue is a very fast deck that should not be considered tempo, right? It's more like a Face Rogue, just saying. Also with this winrate you should reach Rank 1 legend in no time, incredible!

Mine is more of a midrange deck, although I agree it's somewhat faster than the normal tempo rogue. Nah, I can't be arsed with that. I'm having a lot of fun between 3000-6000.

Haha I've just given up on the deck. I know it's good. I'm just not good enough for tempo rogue =P. I'l continue piloting miracle rogue at a 67% win rate though. Although it's only 50% against druids which I've faced 35-40% of the time haha. But whatever, at least it's fun.

Is Miracle still THAT good now the coin is rotated? Or you play wild?
I'm playing standard. And I think it just catches people off guard. It seems to have enough spells to deal with aggro, and if you get an early Vancleef (or even Fal'dorei Strider), it's a very winnable game. I can have trouble against cubelock though if they manage to cube out a double voidlord... I have to be lucky enough to have both Saps out, along with a cold blood or two and Leeroy Jenkins haha.
The meta is very aggro/tempo oriented though it seems, and miracle rogue can get that unexpected burst out of nowhere. It's basically an auto-lose vs hunter though, but thankfully I don't see too many of those.
I don't know why it's working for me, but it just is haha. I also don't use any Witchwood cards in the deck, oddly enough =/

Because rogue is and will be always one of the most appealing classes. Even if the class suck people will play it. Take shaman or Druid that are the wrost appealing classes, especially shaman if doesn’t have good cards nobody will play it. There are actually a lot of cool decks that could be experimented for shaman but very few people will because the Appel of these class is bad. This is a very important point. Take Hagata for example. The appeal for this card is very very low. I am very convinced that If that card would be wrost but very very cool with a different character people would play much more the shaman. This is a very important point that Blizzard has to understand, it is not only necessary print broken cards for the class in order to make it playable.
Not even Hench-Clan Thug??? That's weird the card is busted with Rogue...
I know haha. There's just no room for him, since the deck is pretty tight. I've tried to fit him in, but I just can't. I guess he could be more consistent than Vancleef (since VC is the main silence target in the deck, and a 3/3 is better than 2/2 obviously), but if the other guy doesn't have a lucky draw, a turn 3 6/6 or 8/8 just wins you the game. And also he's just cool and badass.
I could maaayyyybee drop a Cold Blood for the hench thug, but that card is necessary for a huge burst, and it's also a cheap spell for Gadgetzan Auctioneer. There just simply isn't enough room. I can post the decklist later (currently at work =P).

Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
easy to pilot
And solid taunts against aggro decks
But so are better tempo/midrange decks like Mage, Spiteful Druid, and Paladin.

I see more quest rogue than tempo.

It's the first time that rogue got a completely brainless deck as well. Nuff said.
