So i've been playing this game for a like two years and as a mostly free to play player I have not really been able to choose what kind of deck i want to play if i want to be competetive. I am getting tired of having to play some cheap aggro deck every season and am considering to dust like 80% of my collection to craft some viable control deck like warlock. I dont have much dust or cards for the good control decks. I want some advice, i am also open for deck suggestions.
When I started playing this game and didn't want to spend money on it, I did the same but dusting those cards felt so bad I regretted it right away. Playing only one deck will get very boring after a time no matter if it's a cheap aggro or an expensive control deck. If you play only standard then you can dust all you wild cards, it will limit some Tavern Brawls but it's a small sacrifice. There's also a good number of legendaries that are safe to dust because are so bad they will never see play. Check this post about safe-to-dust legendaries: http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/hearthstone-legendaries-can-safely-disenchant/
You've been playing for a while now so you should have enough dust to make a control deck, I would think. If not, you either don't play enough and don't get the daily rewards (and so can't buy enough packs), or waste dust in some other way...crafting cards for aggro decks for example. If you were brand new, I'd say yes, you have to dust most of your cards to get some expensive cards if you want to play control. For the first maybe year I played, I played mech mage and tempo mage exclusively while dusting ALL cards from all other classes. Eventually I got enough dust to start making legendaries one at a time. If you want to play control, at some point you do have to make that leap and dust a bunch of cards, if you are free to play. I would also advise you to stay away from arena unless you can get at least 3 wins every single time.

Please note that the post is outdated, e.g. Hadronox is good now, but the Classic legendaries part still holds.
In my case I am always dust anything except druid, warlock, pally and neutral. Whenever they become meta i will rise with them in high ladder or sit in the corner quietly when they are not viable at all.
Just change your crafting strategy and start crafting cards that have proven their value through time and can also fit into more decks. Don't craft cards from day1 or for the hype.
As for now, start with dusting only wild unplayable/bad legendaries, so you can find some dust (2-3k) to craft missing cards from a control deck.
as a completely f2p player id say you should pick one or two classes you really dont care about or like and play and dust every card you get for them that way you have more dust coming in and still a wide variety of classes and archetypes to choose from

I've just saw your collection, and these are the legendaries that I would disenchant if I were. They have all rotated into wild, and even when they where in standard, they saw little to none play.
So I haven't chosen cards like Razza or Mal'ganis, but only those you would never play.
Personly I would never disenchant cards while they are in standard, because you never know what will come in future expansion. So I would rather disenchant a good wild legendary over a bad standard legenary.
Often (but not allways), epics are more nessecary for a deck than a legendary, and think about what kind of deck you prefer playing, before crafting everything.

This is also very good advice. Up until very recently when I finally have gotten to a dust surplus situation, I dusted every single card I got from Rogue and Hunter, no matter what. I can remember the day I opened Van Cleef...instadusted.
I think the advice about disenchanting a full class or two is great advice as well. The only issue I could foresee is issues with certain quests, but you can always just reroll those. I would only take said advice though if you know you will remain F2P.
Dust some cards to build a deck > yes Dust a huge part of collection to build a deck > no Dust 2 classes to build 1 class > yes Dust 2 classes to build a deck > no
Whatever deck you are going to craft will be obsolete in 1 or 2 expansions. If you want to do well in a long run, spend your dust moderately.

For the class quests you could always make a friend on here or on hearthstone and use the basic cards to finish them. That's what we do for my fiancee
Why do people only use a few classes? to get good at this game you have to know how all 9 work and play. Dusting cards from a class you don't like is silly. Trust me I did that at the start too but now I play all classes and am good with all classes. A f2p player should dust nothing but the absolute jankest cards. You could have had a control deck for free by now if you had kept them all.

I wouldn't craft warlock decks. Maybe nerf coming. how bout buying some packs?

Sure. When I was free to play I only focused on one class. You will get bored of that class eventually though. Better to just buy a bunch of packs.
Play Arena if you are good enough. I dusted my collection just to get disappointment.

I've made a lot of bad decisions this is what i need to do.
It's Blizzard, the new EA, deal with it or leave, that's their politics.

That’s a fat rip you dusted Van Cleef. Tempo rogue is one of the most fun decks I’ve ever played. Here’s one of my friend’s list that is the budget version. https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1009774-budget-f2p-tempo-rogue#c46
