What do you guys think, is the meta going to remain much the way it is right now? Im wondering about crafting spiteful druid and even paladin, right now tier 1.
The meta is never set in stone simple as that. Decks are always being theory crafted and refined. Taunt druid became a thing over the course of a couple days; who's to say another deck won't become refined that takes control of the meta, not even to mention any kind of upcoming nerfs.
It may stabilize over a few time but it changes all the time, just look at last year, when Big Druid stepped into the meta right at the end because of the influx of tempo decks.
However with this said; Paladin still has a lot of tools to remain pretty dominant for a long time so it seems pretty strong for a while; can't talk about druid because I believe Spiteful is better than Taunt because the 10 drop slot is REALLY good right now, but both seem pretty good
Hmm, as the only cards I am missing for both those decks are Genn and Keleseth I guess I can't really do to bad by crafting them, they are pretty solid anyway

No, the meta will change for sure. Why shouldn't she change? In every expansion the meta changes a few times, even after she settled down for a while. Or name me one expansion in which the meta was set in stone after one weak and never changed till the next expansion came out!
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.
The meta isn't really set in stone, perse. However, it is fair to assume that cubelock and even/odd paladin will continue as "tier 1". Going by typical expansion schedules, the tier one decks don't seem to change much. The only thing that does change is "additions" to the arbitrary "tier 1" of decks. A decent example of that would be spiteful druid.
Especially in this case, when the main tier 1 deck is the exact same deck we've seen for months, I'd say the top tier is more or less predictable. It's the tier 2 competitive decks that will continue to rotate over the next week or two.
This is all pending any nerfs that may or may not be coming, though. That's still two months away though, at least lol.

I wouldn't say its set stone yet, there will definitely be more new decks showing up for a while, but even pally and spiteful druid seem like pretty safe crafts to me, because i can't see them becoming weak ever in this expansion unless they get nerfed.
The only thing permanently in stone is that aggro will probably be good, control will probably still counter aggro, combo will still counter control, and midrange will still counter combo.
I can say almost certainly that the meta is not 'settled' after only 1 week though.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
One person says cubelock is teir 2, other says teir 1. Personally I noticed that it didn't get stronger with the expansion, but rather weaker, with more decks that beat it.
No, it’s not. The reason for this is that taunt is now rising and though it is a very good deck, there are some easy counter plays depending on your class (polymorph, hex). So if taunt druid stays dominant, new mage/shaman decks will most likely emerge.
Just play smart. If your playing mage or shaman hold onto a naturalize and use that on turn 10 on had. Also don't play oakhart if you it could pull had into play unless again you can naturalize it. The only true was to mess up the deck is adding beasts into it.
To the OP, I think the main archtypes are basically settled but there will be many many iterations so they will change over time the next 4 months.

Meta is already defined..paladin tier 1 god. Cube tier 2. Hadronox tier 1
Nope. Everything is still up in the air. This expansion is good fun.
So crafting those 2 decks will probably be a good investment?
Looking back at previous expansions I'd say no. It takes more time than that to refine the decks than that.

It's still changing, but we now alot by now, Paladin looks to be the king, as to which form is best, even, odd, or aggro I don't think we are sure.
Spiteful decks will continue to be good it think
The other point is we know the cube decks, druid and warlock are going to be very good.
These decks are still being refined, we still need time to see which versions of these decks come out on top
Sry, have the deck already :)
Still developing, there are some weird decks that rose up the last 2 days. I'd give it 1 more week b4 it's completely stale.
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
