dont need to waste cubes in the matchup, faceless or taldaram on a cube filled with 2 hadronox & save silence for both their cubes. They arent running tigers or silence so you can cube their hadronox lol. MU can be really specific in the late game. Closing out early is hard due to 40+ armor gain.
Cubelock, well it kills Hadronox if he is lucky with card draw and plays well. Otherwise, if Hadronox is lucky with card draw and plays well, he wins. Same Hadronox players reported they win ratio is pretty high against Cubelock, so perhaps, Hadronox is favorable. I didn't have much luck with Hadronox decks yet, however, I don't have a Master Oakheart, perhaps it is a key card in that deck for a good win ratio.
Play the deck in my signature. Easy to do the ultimate combo against them, since they don't carry silence. Also, you can switch out Twilight Drakes/Shroom Brewers for Mountain Giants if you don't see a lot of aggro and tempo.
You've got three ways to count that deck specifically, IMO.
Aggro. They are playing the long game. You should play the short game and rush them down.
Tinkmaster Overspark. The game plan revolves around a 100% chance to resummon Hadronox. Overspark cuts that in half.
Take their deck. They usually run 8 to 9 card hands at all times because they're trying to draw through their deck to find removal and Hadronox. Run something that puts them to 10 cards (that 5/6 dragon with deathrattle: give your opponent two coins, or maybe King Mukkla), then swap decks with Togwaggle.
Or you just run the same deck and make it a coinflip.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Too be serious though I was playing Taunt Druid yesterday and playing against Cubelock was just easy peesy cheesy wins for me. I've found the only way to consistently lose is to have terrible draw through the mulligan and first 6 turns (like when I kept getting no taunts yet grabbing all of my witching hours).
Aggro pallys are the bane of the Hadronox Taunt deck - if you fail to get the right taunts and AOE at the right times pallys will overwhelm you by turn 6. If you can't stabilize or haven't nuked their board a few times, you're sunk. If Hadronox is at the bottom half of your deck or you have no ways to activate them before they get silenced, you're dead. If you want to beat this deck, join the aggro pally cancer.
This will be a mercy killing! Oh and play controllock instead of cubes. <snip> Druids can not win without a deck. Lol
While i do agree with that, i have to note that you can't really stop a nutdraw even with turborin, you can get around a cubed hadronox once, but twice is too much.
Yes, I’m maining control lock and Rin is too slow. You are generally really unfavored and the only way winning is silencing first cube and when he plays second cube, you have to remove the board except the 2 hadronoxes (most likely with Godfrey). After that you have to bring both to 1hp and after that, you have to play defile + twisting nether.
Yes, it’s pretty hard to win against taunt druid as control lock :D
Maybe you guys focus too much on clearing?I have pretty good win rate against taunt druids. If i can't kill them fast with giants , then i pretty much ingore what they do till both of us hide behind trump's walls. After that i just let fatigue do its job.Unless one of us highrolls, then none can clear the other's board,so why bother?
if they don't get lucky with Army of the Dead off of Lichking, you can beat the deck with 2x Psychic Scream Benedictus Priest. Psychic Scream is also good against Paladins with all their Silver Hand Recruits. I'm playing Odd Priest, so I don't even have access to Shadow Visions, which would probably make the matchup even more one-sided.
Title. I mean, i'm out of ideas, the only one that comes to mind is take control, silence or transform, but Gul'dan doesn't have any transform card.

Just concede and move on to take advantage of the aggro even/odd pally decks.

Smell the well deserved coffee and concede
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Play quest rogue. It counters both.

I've been feasting on taunt druids with my even pally tbh.. 75% or something

If you play a slow deck i guess the only "reliable" counter is giving them a beast with cards like Tinkmaster or treachery.
Shadow Madness with Priest? Then kill it or bounce it?

Never played this matchup honestly, but hsreplay actually reports slight advantage for cubelock vs taunt druid. Can anyone confirm from experience?
The matchup control lock vs taunt druid is abysmal though, I don't see how you could improve it.
nope, more like 20-6.
Taunt druids are one of the easier matchups
