This is nonsense. This is the most creative and balanced expansion in a long time. Maybe there aren't the flashy build around cards that have been par for the course in recent expansions but every class got some interesting and powerful things and there are some great new mechanics that the game has needed for a long time. Blizzard has set themselves up beautifully for future expansions in so many ways. In my opinion this will potentially prove to be the best expansion ever thus far in HS history.
The only thing wrong with this expansion is people aren't doing enough new stuff. My opponents all have such boring decks. Win or lose i can predict 70-80% of their plays, sometimes multiple turns ahead. I'm about ready to just make a Lady In White priest deck and High roll people until they BM the %^& out of me.
Stop comparing this expansion to Un'Goro and KoFT. People whined that those expansions had too many build arounds, so now we get an expansion that only added TWO Build arounds and left everything else WIDE OPEN and added A TON of good common and rare cards and people won't stop whining.
Okay I think there is enough interesting cards in this set.
Also they had to decrease power level because it was increasing non stop people were getting way more value in given turn those were correct steps to take
BUT If you are doing it you should nerf the shit out of the decks that was in meta last expansion or this expansion will be so stale and boring after a week because it is same shit all over again.
I was forced , for the last 4 months, to run double ooze and double silence in every single fucking deck I built because cubelock is beyond broken. Not gonna do that for another year. Until cubelock is fixed, no money and no ranked for me.
strong neutral but still feel different for each class because the benefit come from hero power, the restriction make some worthless card like raid leader, stormwind champion, frostwolf warlord ... see play in tier 1-2 deck
I originally thought this xpac was Memewood, but after playing so many fun decks come out over the past week, I think it's great. It feels like every class has something good or fun to play. I won't even mind the occasional Shudderwock loss once they fix the animations.

The issue is not in WW itself but rather in the fact that we're in the beginning of the Year of the Raven, so the card pool is very limited and not many deckbuilding option are avaible (speaking in terms of competitive play). When the future expansion sets will be released many more of the WW cards will see play, but I agree that actually it may seems a bit disappointing (and the general power level is not very high, but far from unplayable).
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
I have been pretty disappointed also. My problem is not power level or meta, but that the expansion does nothing to spark my deckbuilding fires. Ever since Old Gods it seems like there has always been some card that excites me to try and break/build around. But, this set offers nothing. Well, that's overstating it. It offers nothing that is engaging my deckbuilding brain.
I crafted Baku and played Baku hunter for about 10 games. It was fine power wise. I crushed combo and lost to control, about as one would expect, but it got booring very fast.
the Shaman deck looks kinda fun, but also very expensive. I'm not sure I want to blow my supply of dust on it unless I see it stand the test of time (about 2 weeks).
Other than that, I just don't know that much is exciting. There nothing like Jade or Barnes or N'Zoth or most of the DKs or the Rogue Quest or....... Just nothing here that looks like fun to try and build around.
I'm glad folks are enjoying it. It might be a really fun meta. Might lead to really engaging games. But, I think from a deckbuilding standpoint this set is a complete dud.
I think people should give this guy a break. All his post was is about how he finds the expansion boring. If you personally find the expansion fun and good then great, more power to you! You shouldn't however mock someone because they want to share their thoughts about a video game on a website designed to share thoughts and decks about said video game.

Fun is subjective.
I have to completely disagree with OP's rhetoric; I'm a huge fan of this expansion, and I'm quite excited to see what comes in the next couple weeks.

TGT was worse sorry about it.

Personally I think it's a great expansion
Please don't tell my girlfriend about my card collection...
The expansion isn't even out for a week. Jeez, let a little time pass before jumping to conclusions.
Yup, this expansion sucks.

odd/even legendaries seems better i expected

I miss Dört Rat
Somethings are just worth fighting for.

Galavant Animation
Jade, Barnes, DKs, Quest Rogue... Your definition of fun is very different from mine. Like complete antonyms different.
I made a Baku Quest hunter that I'm having alot of fun with, not really having a prob myself with the "spark" as you say.
If you like super tomfoolery maybe try the new value Rogue? Nothing better than a clownfiesta to start the day.
and if you like plain old AIDS then just go with Baku Paly or Wock Shaman like everyone else is doing.
Goodbye sweet prince, the one true champion who brought justice to boring combo decks.
Edit: Quote to Dirty Rat comment didn't work >.>

Yeah! So many new cool decks for aggro Paladin!!!
