I'm really trying to get on board with this streaming as a side job thing haha, streaming probably 15 hours a week. And I'm wondering, do people care about watching the card pack opening? Or should I just open packs on my phone while I'm at work then just jump right into experimentation when I get home tonight?
For what it's worth, I already have a couple theory-crafted "templates" on my profile here, so there wouldn't be much wait between opening packs and jumping into game. I'd probably just have to craft a few cards. Also, I have 74 packs to open. More if I use gold.

While I’m voting no that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it, I feel like generally a lot of people do enjoy watching that kind of thing and those who don’t care aren’t bothered by it
I personally find it fun to see what luck my favourite streamers get compared to me. And what they pull. If they are opening lots like Kripp it normally means there’s one or two insane packs with double legendaries and goldens which can be entertaining. I dunno it’s very much a personal thing. I don’t think you lose much by showing your openings, however not showing might annoy some of your viewers that wanted to see what you get.

Yea, Kripp is fun to watch when he has 500+ packs to open.
I couldn'y possibly be any less interested in watching. I find it hard to even compare luck or anything of the sort, since streamers usually open an unnatural amount of packs.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't stream it though. Best of luck.
Whenever an expansion drops I just click through streamers to see which one starts playing on the ladder first. I really couldn't care less about pack openings.
That being said, streamers do always have huge numbers while opening packs (I always wonder how Kripp manages to have so many viewers while opening hundreds of packs) so I do think people generally like watching it.
I personally don't care for pack openings but that doesn't mean there aren't a portion of the Twitch population that do enjoy it. So if you got the packs and the time lines up for you, you might as well crack those bad boys live.
Most people are busy opening their own packs, so you'll generally have lower view-rates as an amateur streamer I think. I would guess most people will view the big streamers to watch what they get, their reactions and what not. I usually have someone going in the background while I'm ripping my packs just for the fun of it, and to see if they are experiencing the same lag and delay as I am.
Think about it this way. It's very easy content for you to make if you have the knack for it. Whether or not it is intertaining will in the end depend on you. Just watching packs being opened one after another in silence would get boring really quickly. It's up to the streamer to make it interesting.
Well id like to watch some openings just to whine about my shitty RNG lol. But i think a lot of streamers will do this so the best way would be NOT to do it while mostviewed streamers open theirs (might be hard to find good time tho) so that You would have more attention of people that want to watch openings. Damn that sentence was long. Sorri :P
I wouldn't just open my 75-85 packs in silence haha. I'd try to be all hyped up, especially on some particularly lucky (or hell even particularly unlucky) packs. I might just skim past some "40 dust" packs, which is probably expected anyways.
I'll be going online about 8 hours after the launch, so I'm guessing the most hardcore streamers would already have their packs opened? I'm thinking I could open all packs and get a deck or two made within half an hour.
So yeah, so far I've decided to hold off on opening packs until I can turn that stream on. I'll probably announce half an hour in advance that I'm going online so that the hordes of people can filter in =P haha.

I like to watch other people play games and analyze their strategies. Pack openings, I couldn't care less.
I'll probably only watch about 30-ish minutes from Kripp's pack opening video, when he'll be streaming i'll be opening packs myself
Don't mind me just passing by

@edit: spelling (probably still shitty xd)
Why watch someone else opening packs when I can be opening my OWN packs?!?!
All good comments, thanks guys!
