So here's the place to put your bold predictions out there, so in a month or so you can reference this thread to tell everyone you were right.
1. Meta will be pretty much unchanged for the first few weeks followed by a Cubelock nerf. Blizzard will site that it's not the most powerful deck but it's limiting entire archetypes from being viable in the meta.
2. There will be one new meta deck that will flesh out fairly soon, the OTK Shudderwock deck. It will focus on board clear, healing, card draw, and ultimately using a Grumble battlecry to allow you to cast Shudderwock 10 times in one turn for the win.
At least a dozen individual salt threads will appear within a day of the expansion's release, complaining about how OP and unbeatable some new deck will be. Within a week, each of the aforementioned decks will be Tier 3 at best.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.

I agree with point one. Nothing stands out as any sort of counter to Cubelock and most meta decks good against it are losing tools, namely secret mage, which I feel will be pretty much dead in the water without it's MSoG and ONK cards
I think Odd Priest is going to be pretty good. Dragon Soul might even find some use in it given the cards you won't be able to put in. Odd mage is going to go belly up. The Meme Rodue card is going to end up really good I think as well. Top Tier will probably be Cubelock, Hand Druid, Odd Priest, and Odd Face Hunter in no particular order
My two predictions were: a big warrior spell that would allow Spiteful Warrior to exist, plus at least a couple superb taunt cards that would resurrect Quest Warrior since it's such a natural antidote to aggro madness. First: dead wrong, maybe next expansion. Second: may well have happened, albeit through neutral cards, really. I thought Warrior would get lots of love this expansion, along with Warlock, and Shaman the most love next expansion, but Shaman gets to become respectable again first it seems.
1. Cubelock will promptly crush all creative decks and force a nerf to Doomguard. Deathweb Spider and Ratcatcher will find their way into the deck before the nerf (along with Lord Godfrey of course).
2. Aggro Mage, Rinlock, and aggro Paladin will round out the rest of tier 1.
3. Elemental control Mage and infinite Shudderwock elemental Shaman will be top of tier 2.
4. Glinda Crowskin will force a nerf to wild giants Warlock.
5. Hunter and Warrior will be dead classes.
6. Rogue will be the #1 arena class followed by Mage and Priest
7. Baku the Mooneater and Genn Greymane will not see play this expansion, but will at some point (the former being much more likely).
I think Tiger druid will be a tier 3 deck, Battlecry (Shudderwock) shaman is gonna be a tier 1 deck, Lady in white priest is gonna be a tier 4 or lower deck (due to consistency), and Thief rogue will be a tier 3 maybe 2 deck
>95% of the cards in the new set are complete garbage and completely unusable. Cubelock will dominate the meta until some nerfs come along to gimp it some more so that gimpstone can finally exist.
1. Cubelock still tier1 (pushing S) - lost N'zoth, but gained some awesome cards too, still will be oppressive and will limit deck diversity cause it's THE deck to beat.
2. Shaman and Paladin will be mostly likely the other two tier 1 decks - in which from is to be seen
3.Tier 2 decks will be Hand Druid, Control Mage, Priest variants (tho priest lingers between tier 1 and 2), Control Warrior (odd or even)
4.Tier 3 will be filled with Elemental/minion Mage decks (they are slow and cant push out Cubelock, hence cant compete), poor Hunter will be here cause no more Barns and Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound, other tools seem just slow.
At some point, probably too late, Blizzard will notice that power level of cards that cheat out huge minions (aka cheat the mana curve) are bad for the game and will nerf Possessed Lackey. But it will follow some nerfs that will just kill Cubelock completely cause thats what they do....
There will be a rock paper scissors meta centered around control warlock (not just cubelock) , some aggro devk that counters it and some anti aggro deck that counters dude palladin but that hasnth enough value to beat warlock
I'm kind of worried about Shudderwock In the end you only need a total of 3 battlecries (him included) cards to setup a 30 life points OTK on the next turn. The rest of the deck can be of any kind and maybe be deadly by itself: if things go wrong you always have the OTK option. Kind of like the pre-nerf Yogg decks but maybe with more consistency?
Exodia mage support in the previous expansions and this make me really wonder why T5 says they don't like the strategies that allow OTK from an empty board and no counters (except rushing them down) when they obviously believes they should an effective option. And Dirty Rat has just gone 'wild'...
Druid seems awful, hand druid isnt good enough, although i believe there is some potential with Witching Hour and big beasts like Charged Devilsaur and Hadronox, not sure tho, needs checking.
Hunter surprisngly looks good despite traditional lack of draw. Wing Blast and Dire Frenzy are just good, Deathstalker Rexxar is not going anywere, so some sort of spell/ctrl hunter will see play.
Mage - King is dead, hail to the king. Secret mage is dead, but Tempo mage will still survive cos Book of Specters and Bonfire Elemental are hella cards. Altough, doesnt look crazy powerful, around tier 2 i think.
I am also very, very, VERY dissapointed we got literally 0 support (besides maybe Arcane Keysmith) for Big mage, that deck is love.
Paladin looks like its going in tempo direction, his cards are just all around good (yes The Glass Knight is good, fuk u, fight me).
Genn/Baku, cos playing with dudes is fun.
BUT Voidlord is not going anywere and this means midrange decks will suffer. I mean, there is only so much silences you can put in the deck.
Priest... I dunno. Coffin Crasher allows for some Big priest shenanigans, Lady in White is stupidly powerful on curve, but drags ur deck down when you cant find her, Chameleos is amazing, but wont see play, because Control Priest loses many of its tools, and gains heal stuff instead of removal, although it *could* be played in Inner Fire Priest as 30th card. I mean, pieces are there, but im not sure if it will be consistent enough yet.
Rogue gets win condition for Thief Rogue, dear God, finally! Besides that, as a Miracle rogue entusiast, WANTED! is fucking trash and will see play, but will only be good with Preparation and god damn awful wthout it, just rotate it in Wild and print some good spells for Rogue, Blizz, plizz ffs (yes i am salty and upset, dont touch me)
Shaman is suddenly alive and well, because Shudderwock is nuts and singlehandedly makes Shaman tier 1. Good.
Now. Warlock. So, when they showed Lord Godfrey i was like - yeah good card, ok nice. But then they did Dark Possession, Ratcatcher, Curse of Weakness(LOL WUT BLIZZARD WRONG CLASS RLY) and i broke. Like, we all remember Highlander Priest, right? How it was already tier 1 and cobolds addedDuskbreaker and Psychic Scream to it? Well, now we can expect Cubelock's death in roughly 3-6 months, cos Blizzard balance cant nerf cards without completely obliteration, and this shit obviously have to be nerfed. So i dunno, make your bets. How exactly they will make cubelock unplayable? Dark pact to 2 mana? Cube to 6? Lackey to 6?
Warrior. On final stream Rush warrior looked kinda clunky, but that *maybe* due to blizzard deckbuilding, i mean they need to show new card and all that. But, then again, Rush deck is tempo deck and... yeah, Warlock. I dunno.
Also everyone are hyped about Baku Warrior, myself included, and i can only hope this deck will be competitive enough. I hope. There are 2 new control spells for warrior and both are not only underwelming, but also even, lul. On the other side, we got some neutral control stuff, like Voodoo Doll, Worgen Abomination, Witchwood Grizzly, so one can hope, right? Right?
Well, thats all. I did not mentioned Baku and Genn for every class, because typically payoff isnt enough to include it. Also i never mentioned existing archetypes (except Warlock) because typical meta deck right now runs too many rotating stuff(except Warlock)
Yeah, i hate warlock now. In advance. I really, REALLY want to be wrong about it. Sadly, i probably wont.
I predict that people will try out the rogue legendary (in standard or wild) but it will be forgotten after a week or two. It’ll still be fine in power level but (similar to the quest post-nerf) since it won’t be top tier, it’ll be dropped. I’m committed to it regardless of how good or bad it ends up being!
I also predict that the new Banker card will see tons of play early on but then be relegated to the barely-played category where Zola now resides.
Shudderwock isnt that good its a very complex deck that can easily be countered with Dirty Rat, so if sudderwock becomes popular the rats will become popular too. Mage quest still an otk and people doesnt play it too much.

My bold prediction is that everyone is overreacting to both how bad the Dustwood cards are (there will be strong cards from this set) and how little the meta will change (it's a rotation so it will change a lot, even if cubelock remains the best deck).

Shudderwock Will get a Nerf or alteration at some point within 6 months. Seems like it can be abused ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

night prowler will be meta defining and be very good against cubelock.
rush warrior tier 1.
rogue a joke class.
hand druid will work.
cubelock will still be tier 1 but not ruin the meta too much.
Odd mage will be a tier 2 deck.
lady in white won't be that good.
1 Cubelock nerf incoming
2 Rogue and Warrior will be dead classes
3 Kingsbane nerf
4 Shudderwock nerf

My predictions:
1 Cubelock will be pushed down to tier 2 as shaman gains popularity and the shudderwock is part of every salt thread
2 Meta will remain hyper-aggressive because decks have to beat shaman decks that include shudderwock as their win con.
3 Spectral cutlass will be main in rogue decks, as it is better than kingsbane now that coldlight oracle rotates out.
4. Warrior will have a spike due to Odd quest warrior, but it will eventually fail because of infinite value of shudderwock.
5. Shudderwock won't be nerfed until the time between second and third expansion ( Same case as with Raza priest)
6. People will repeat that one class is garbage and Blizzard will counter with broken cards in the following two expansions.
My predictions is that Shaman and Warlock will become tier 1 decks. And everybody rank 5 and up will be playing either of two.
I predict that people will try out the rogue legendary (in standard or wild) but it will be forgotten after a week or two.
