I, too, am a bit underwhelmed by the cards (unlike Quests, DKs, and Weapons, there are no new archetypes that I can't wait to try this time around), but I always get really excited as we close in on a new expansion release. This time is no different.
Less hyped about the individual set at this point. As many have observed, its power level is lower.
What I am hyped about:
The Year of the Raven cycling out a LOT of standing archetypes
I'll miss a lot of them, Murloc Paladin and Kingsbane Rogue in its current form particularly, but it'll be nice to have new stuff.
Seeing if the Odd/Even mechanic is worth anything
I expect to wait longer than Witchwood to find out. It doesn't look, at first blush, like there's enough to make it competitive. Yet.
Seeing if old archetypes come back
As an example, Kingsbane was just printed. Surely it'll get some new support.
Determining if present expected Kings of the Hill (i.e. Cubelock) can be firmly deposed without putting something more singularly dominant in its place
I think we can all agree that when the meta's top tiers are, whether determined anecdotally or empricially, over half the same deck type (era of Hunter-taker, Midrange Jade Shaman, etc.), it's not fun.
There's lots to be hyped about, even if Witchwood specifically doesn't feel like a power set.

Normally we hyped for new card types every expansions. (Not keyword) Quest cards for Ungoro, hero cards for Frozen throne, they all gives value to each class. But there is no new card type for this expansion so no hype no preorder.
Speak for yourself..
The thing that i mentioned is for all logic people which are not gonna buy preorder, there are of course rare persons like you :)
I think many of those so called "logic" people will deeply regret missing the preorder. Not only that it is a good deal (70 packs for 49 $) but Witchwood will prove to be good in the end, wait and see. The cards are not flashy but fun and power enough to change the meta. People are totally ignoring that many cards will rotate and evaluate the new cards in a vacuum.
Ppl said that the mammoth bundle was a great deal but this preorder is even better. Who cares about power lvl? U can get a lot dust from 70 packs with only 50price tag
yeah they will play 4 matches ( they won't play druid as the classes all cards have been revealed but this is my guess.) with 8 classes as they always did.

Keep in mind that high rarity cards are not necessarily 'good', and low rarity cards are not necessarily 'bad'. Every set has very powerful cards and nearly unplayable cards of each rarity. I don't mind at all if they reveal a lot of common and rares, because those cards will end up being the foundation of the new meta

is this going to be only a card showcase or a stream where they are playing games (like the other final streams?)

How can one not be hyped for a reveal stream with both Day9 and Ben Brode?
They normally play around 3-4 games with different new decks I predict:
Dragon hunter (they will show all the dragons they didn't reveal) with Emeriss since it's an underrated/questionable card)
Hand druid sadly they will Just jam in all the new cards, but seems like an interesting deck.
They WILL showcase hagata or even shaman, or even hagata shaman for SURE.
they will be a baku or genn deck, no questions asked
Priest might also get a deck since we didn't see all priest cards.

RIP stream XD
My hype is over. This game is officially wrecked and became a total 200% RNG Clown Fiesta with no skill involved at all.
I was hoping for some transforms, silences and / or polymorphs but alas, cubelock will still shit upon us.
