I started playing Hearthstone 4 months ago and I am still a newbie who can't go further than rank 17/18. Based on the cards that I found, I created a budget Dragon/Inner Fire Priest (I have Shadowreaper too, but I really can't find any cheap sinergy with him) but now, with the rotation hitting next thursday, I'll lose some solid cards like Drakonoid OP and I don't know if I'll be able to play again in this way.
Said so, based on the current revealed cards and on the fact that I'll be able to buy around 50 WW packs, which class will you recommend to insist to reach rank 15 or so?
I know that we are missing a lot of cards and that we don't know how precisely the meta will be affected by all these changes, but I'm just asking for an opinion from more expert players
I don't want to be responsible for leading you in the wrong direction, but I will say this:
Mage, Priest, Hunter, and Warlock seem like obvious choices. Reason being? They have either the most power coming into the expansion, and/or they have the least power leaving the meta. Warlock is a deck you could have been playing 4 months ago and is only losing... what 4 cards? Regardless, the best way to play the game on a new account is around the free legendaries you've racked up. Remember you can buy 10 packs in each expansion since the legendary drop update, and be guaranteed a single legendary at the very least in that 10 IF it is the FIRST 10 you've opened since the update (When was this update- end of last year or early January?).
Legendaries you get for simply playing:
1)1 free DK from the Frozen Throne mini-adventure
2) 1 free weapon from Kobolds and Catacombs launch
3)1 free class legendary today from Witchwood
4) the Starter Pack (gonna include this because the value is so high even though it does involve spending money)
The only recommendation worth following is to open your packs and wait around 2-3 weeks before crafting anything, once the meta is a little bit more settled (again in 2-3 weeks) check viscious syndicate or hs replay and craft one of the cheap decks in there.

Got it!
I spent all the gold I earned in the last months and I got 3 legendaries (plus Blackhowl Gunspire, but it doesn't tickle me at all...): Houndmaster Shaw, Countess Ashmore and Toki, Time-Tinker; so I'll wait some weeks but I think I'll try a Hunter deck
