What do u guys think about the set so far? (now where over 50% of the cards are revealed) Personally i really like most cards and i´m really hyped for the new archetyp´s... (especially because Secret Mage,Big Priest and Jades won´t be a thing anymore)
Also which cards are ur favorite so far? Mine are Emeriss, Toxmonger and Lady in White.
I'm excited. The power level is reasonable and in my book, most cards revealed so far seem really interesting, despite what some people think. I'm also liking what I'm seeing so far in terms of warrior/shaman reveals. So, long story short, I'm hyped.
Yes. First preorder in a while. I know a few who don’t like the lack of flashy cards and dialing down the power. I believe skilled players will appreciate this expansion. The others not so much.
I'm pretty excited that a lot of the super high power level decks are taking some hits. I know that sounds a bit harsh haha, but 75% of my matches right now are paladin, priest, and warlock (tracking stats and everything haha, no exaggeration here). Surprisingly enough I'm facing mage maybe 5% of the time, and hunter 10% of the time. It's kinda sad how 4 classes are well under 10% of what I'm facing haha (around rank 3, so I guess everyone wants to get to legend with the "proven" top tier decks before expansion hits).
I know other powerful decks will come up obviously, but I'm excited for what the shaken up meta will bring.
Edit: I didn't mention which cards are my favorite. Honestly I'm just excited for what crazy even/odd decks we'll see haha. Lady in White has potential to be pretty cool too (very Prince Keleseth-esque, one of my favorite cards to play).
I'm not super hyped, but I am looking forward to the expansion and rotation. I think its equal parts getting new cards and the fact that expansions that came out before I started playing are rotating out.
Yes, and it feels like I’m the only person on the site whom’s excited, it’s crazy. I feel like all the new legendaries are going to open up a lot of new deckstyles for each class, and I’m very much feeling the Rush and Echo stuff so far.
Kinda feels like a lot of people on Hearthpwn just wanted “Cubelock Nerf: the Expansion” and are miffed past conceivable standards that it wasn’t 100% EXACTLY that, and I’m over here just excited to try out Baku Mage or Genn Hunter or play around with a new Zoolock
Absolutely because I'm keeping in mind the power level of the new cards can be low since so many cards are rotating out. This is the time of year that the game becomes completely fresh and different.
I'm not hyped but I won't hate on Dustwood. It has a few cards that look really interesting and I think I'll pre-order just for the 20 packs alone. It also helps I still have Amazon coins I got at 25% off so it's really $38 for 70 packs, a real steal!
Super-hyped cuz I am not competitive (in the sense that I crave climbing the ladder quickly) and I love chaos and the very RNG that many people, understandably, loathe. I have the suspicion that this meta may be more defined by said chaos and RNG than in metas past. I'm probably wrong, but there you go. That being said, I would love to unpack Hagatha the Witch, Chameleos, and the Blackhowl Gunspire. Yes, I'm serious.
Not at all. I hate all the underwhelming and uninteresting Legendaries. The halfassed odd or even cards concept. Not to mention the minions that swap stats while in hand.
I'd much rather see another barch of quests rather than the filler Legendaries. Overall I find the endless introduction of new gimmicks that's never fully developed or supported by further expansions a huge missed opportunity.
The whole thing would be more exciting if I didn't already know that most of my games will be against control Warlock. That deck doesn't need any of the Witchwood cards, and it will still be on top. That definitely dampens the excitement of a new set of cards.
I'm definintely hyped for the expansion. Not sure what all of the negative bs is about. I'm particularly hyped for Baku and strangely tempo warrior too.

You're avatar says otherwise! ;P
I'm totally hyped myself. The new year alone brings back some balance with rotation and while most of the releases lack luster themselves and rush is nothing to write home about, most of the cards released push board interactions and thoughtful decisions: there's only a handful of total RNG fest cards compared to previous releases.
Even though we haven't seen I'm actually most hyped for the PvE content where we get to play different hero's/classes than what's currently available (maybe future expansion hype as a new class test bed? Please!?) But if it's half as good as dungeon run it's going to be legend,.... Daryl!
People need to realise this is the expansion that will be the longest in standard for about 2 years...
If Blizzard decided to print cards that are absolutely broken now, they will need to nerf it again because people will start complaining and if they don't fix it, people need to wait 2 years for the rotation.
If you really want some broken stuff, you should look out for the next expansion or the expansion after that one because the Blizzard will consider printing some OP shizzle again.
It would be a huge mistake if they printed a Patches-like card in this expansion
Here's the thing, I'm really liking a lot of these cards. They are balanced, they are fun, and they are interesting. The odds/evens only effects a few classes really (rogue shouldn't need handicap themselves for a still crappy HP for example) but it's still a fun thing to build around.
But... the problem is with the existing cards and decks. They have introduced a lot of cool tempo/midrange sort of cards here but those are dead in the water with the meta. I'm worried that in a few weeks after the dust settles it's going to be the exact same meta, many decks hardly changing at all.
Keep in mind this isn't a complaint about the new cards at all, I think it's probably one of the most balanced sets they have released so far. I'm just hoping we get some balance adjustments so I have a place to play these cards.

Ultra-hyped, this seems a good expansion like ungoro last year :)
Top deck is cheat

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.

If I will see less warlocks and priests - then yes.
